Tumi was great company and has several spots that she liked to take turns napping in around Ian and Kate's lovely home. Which is also positioned well for visiting the city and the countryside. Ian and Kate were very welcoming, and left clear details.
This sit felt like home! Brian and Suse were warm, communicative and very helpful hosts. I was well taken cared of and comfortable in their home with all the love that their fur gang gave. Your love tank will be surely be full with all the snuggles, silly antics and just how easy Tuco, Ozzy, Rosie and Bubs were. Loved that their neighborhood is accessible to public transport and restaurants too, you’d be off to many adventures in Brooklyn and beyond. Would def recommend and if given the chance, I’d love to sit for them again!
We loved looking after Malachi, Ivor and the other sheep and the chickens. Cat’s house was very comfortable and she was welcoming and relaxed. We felt at home straight away. She left very clear instructions and directions for a wonderful walk from the front door through beautiful woods, wild flowers and meadows. Malachi is very smart, gentle, affectionate and a joy to look after. We loved collecting the eggs from the chickens and delivering them to the butcher. All in all this was a perfect sit and we hope to one day look after the animals again. X
Heidi the pup is the star of this sit! She is just about the best little dog there is! She's sweet, loves to cuddle, very easy going and well trained, but also up for any adventure you want to take her on including long hikes available right out the front door up to the Blue Ridge Pkwy! Britta the homeowner was very welcoming and thorough with instructions for the home which is comfortable and peaceful. The house is spacious and attractive, in a lovely, peaceful neighbourhood. The kitchen is well-equipped and I was provided with a private guest bedroom and bathroom for my use which was very comfortable. Everything you need is a short drive away (about 10min down to Tunnel Rd). Britta was always available by text to answered any questions, but all instructions were more than covered in the home guide they provided. A highly recommended sit and I'm already looking forward to my next stay with sweet Heidi!
Georgie & Max are absolutely lovely and were incredibly helpful from our first chat with them. They provided us with a Welcome Guide which explained where everything was and how things work. They have an amazing home in a fantastic location in West London, a very short walk to Chiswick high street which is full of pubs, restaurants and shops. Turnham Green tube station is also just round the corner so access into Central is incredibly easy. Diggory & Floyd are gorgeous cats who are extremely friendly and enjoy getting a fuss made of them (in particularly Diggory who is very confident and enjoys a lot of attention)! They are also very independent and enjoy relaxing in their garden. We certainly recommend sitting for Georgie & Max as they are lovely and have a great home with 2 beautiful cats in a fantastic location! We would be happy to sit for them again!
I had a truly wonderful time sitting the regal Kitty the Pug. She is a total snuggle bug, always happy to be right by your side whether on the couch, or sleeping in bed. Pugs are known to be snorers, and Kitty is, but it honestly was the best white noise to sleep alongside. Laura and Andrew went to great lengths to make me feel at home, having me over in advance to walk me through their building and the lovely park next door, and they were always very easy and pleasant to communicate with before and during the stay. I hope they’ll have me back for any future sitting needs, but if I’m not available, any other sitter would be quite wise to apply for this sit. Many thanks Laura, Andrew, and Kitty!

I was looking for a doggie day care where my dog, Hudson, a puppy golden doodle can learn to socialize with other dogs in a safe, loving environment. That place is Loving Paws with Michelle. I know Husdon is an amazing hands with Michelle and her team. Hudson is is now 2 yrs old and always comes home a happy and tired doggie. I love that Michelle treats him and cares for him like he is part of her family. I would highly recommend Loving Paws for daycare and boarding services.
I have a beautiful Saint Bernard whom I don't trust leaving anywhere or with anyone when I travel except MICHELLE!!! She truly is a blessing in my life. I was honestly afraid I would never be able to travel again because I didn't know who would take care of my big girl. When I was referred by a friend to Loving Paws Dog Services I immediately fell in love with the whole process. Michelle loves dogs more than anything and has tons of experience caring for all dogs from small to giant breeds for many many years. She is very professional 👏 I had a meet and greet at the house the first time, followed by me leaving my pup at Michelle's house for a play date (only a few hours) to see how she behaved in the new environment along with the two gorgeous well behaved labs (Riley and Luna, I love them too) that live in the house. The following week my dog went to Loving Paws for a whole week. I was updated day and night with how Cozy was doing and also Michelle has two cameras setup both indoor and outdoor. Being able to communicate and watch Cozy was everything to me. Michelle followed all feeding/medication instructions perfectly and walked her endlessly. It really is so nice that she has a beautiful big house with a gorgeous fenced in back yard. I can't explain enough to everyone how this is the perfect and safest place to leave your furry loved ones when you must!!!! Highly recommended a million times over. Thank you Michelle 🙏😁❤
Michele is the ONLY dog sitter I'll use to watch my dog, Layla. I've gone upstate at least two times, and didn't have to worry about my precious pup for not one second. She's caring, extremely careful with my dog, and kept her happy when I was away. On video chat, I could see how comfortable Layla was with her. I nicknamed her "The Dog Whisperer". Lol. I recommend her company to anyone who needs a dog sitter!
Michele is a true animal lover! She’s patient, kind and passionate about the well-being of each dog she sits for. My rescue puppy was wild (nipping, jumping, chewing, barking) and Michele was one of the only people who could handle her during that time - it’s been two years now and we can’t imagine leaving our sweet girl with anyone else. As a busy mom of two young kids, it’s also helpful that Michele regularly offers to pick up our dog at home before we go away and drop her back to us when our trip is over. Such a time saver. Lots of walks, belly rubs and homemade treats for dogs who stay with loving paws. Highly recommend!
Michelle took very good care of my Frankie for a few nights of boarding. I felt very comfortable on my vacation knowing he was in good hands. I got updates and videos and was able to check on him through the nest cam. I will definitely be using loving Paws again
I highly recommend loving paws,Michele is great with my puppy Dakota.she is a rescue puppy and is a little timid around other dogs and people.i tried a few other doggy day cares and they just didn't work out.to hectic and to many dogs for Dakota. Then we found michele and she was great with Dakota from the first meeting. Dakota nows runs to her when we go there.michele has a very nice home setup for the dogs she cares for. And 2 very friendly dogs of her own who welcomed Dakota immediately. I feel very comfortable leaving Dakota with Michele and I highly recommend her.
This is the only place I trust to care for my dogs! I have two boys that can be hard to handle since they require lots of attention and also one has health issues. I can always trust that they will be loved and attended to as I require. Also more importantly their heath needs and medications will be properly given. The delicious home made doggie treats never hurt either. So happy I found Loving Paws!!!!! ❤️🐾
Our 8 month old, small size puppy was well cared for, happy, and had a lot of fun when we were away for a day. She had a great time playing with the dogs of the house who were very tolerant of a crazy pupoy. I highly recommend Loving Paws!

Can’t say enough about the staff there and how much they care about their guests! My dog stresses when away from us and has stomach issues . While at Malibu his stomach was acting up so they called to let me know and said they were going to make him some white rice to help settle his stomach. Love this place and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Very accommodating to us and our cat. This was the first time using a pet sitting service. Now we have two kittens, Malibu stepped up and accommodated them as well. Place is clean and they all have a love for animals. We thought Caroline went way beyond what we expected even saying a few minutes after closing when we were late wanted to pick up our cat. Have used Malibu for a number of years now. Our old boy doesn't like other dogs, but likes people. As much as I hate leaving him and know he prefers being at home, I know he's always well taken care of at Malibu when we go away.
Kept our little Scottish straight, Bella with them recently, & also our past but never forgotten Persian, Cookie from 15+ years ago. Both times they were treated like family, couldn't ask for better folks to look after our fur babies while away. From play time, to making sure they're properly fed, grooming all is taken care of. Even get to call or facetime them while your away which makes the distance somewhat better. Keep up the good work.
Gloria/Golda , is a true "one of a kind" caretaker of animals. Her love towards animals is amazing - all the dogs are attached to Golda at the hip. Golda's home and employees provide loving care and attention, and you get to see all the doggies run around the yard, play together and how happy they are!!! Gloria and the team send you photos, videos and updates all the time! Golda's team will do whatever you need! Their services are top notch and Golda has years of experience administering medicine to animals as an animal owner her whole life. Always know my boy is in GREAT hands and to see my boy's activities during his time at Golda's is THE BEST!.
Looking for a place for your pet to stay while on vacation, or just for a short stay ? I couldn’t have found a better place. The care , interaction, patience and communication was excellent. Milo was at his best just like he would be at home. I just googled pet boarding in the area and was fortunate enough to have found this gem, my dog has been here twice already I highly recommend.

My little poodle Saydy stayed with her and was so happy staying with Michele and I know this because when I returned to get her she was playing with her pets and jumping and not just moping around missing me. There is nothing better than when you must leave your pet and it is difficult but Michele is loving, caring, attentive and I highly recommend anyone leaving their pet with her. You will never find anyone better than her.

Micheal is extremely reliable and so so caring when it comes to taking care of other people’s pets. The dogs are so comfortable there and love it so much that some don’t even want to go home. If you care about your dog at all, do not trust their place and their employees’ incompetence. We took our dog here for only the second time for day care and they gave her to the wrong family - which they didn’t even realize until my husband came to pick up our dog 90 min later. They also kept my husband in the dark for 30 min and told him nothing. Apparently they take the dogs’ collars off for “safety” to play so your dog is there with no identification, and this is nowhere in their disclosures. Also, they clearly don’t ask for ID to give your dog back bc they allegedly sent her home with a random dog walker who didn’t know what dog they were picking up. Owner was more concerned with her reputation than that my dog was sent to the wrong house and was missing from their control for over 2.5 hours. I will be pursuing the matter with corporate. UPDATE: The owner of Houndstown Island Park continues to gaslight us in their response below instead of apologizing, again. Also, their response is untruthful as my dog was unaccounted for over 2 hours until we tried to pick her up and she wasn't there. Then staff had to check cameras to find her.
Hounds town is great. My dog , Arthur , always has a great time and is well taken care of. We send Arthur to hounds town for just a day of fun and for boarding when away on vacations. I trust them and always know my dog is in good hands.
Desi loves Hounds Town. Spends many a vacay there while his mom is away. He runs to the door the minute he realizes where we are. Best place for pups! Highly recommend!!! Edited July 2024. Two years later and Desi still loves going to Hounds Town. They are the best!
TERRIBLE experience!! This place is just a MEATPACKING. Left my dog for 6 days. everything is a mystery in this place they don’t show you the installation at all. I trusted them and left my dog there. For 4 days I was calling to check on my dog and they refused to give me any detail of how he was doing or even send a single phone. For a sec I thought my dog was dead. The staff was rude the whole time for no reason like they were picking on me. never again!
I’ve been sending my dog here for the past four years. Each overnight stay and each daytime stay have been great. The crew at Island Park are great and always so accommodating. They have helped me out in emergency situations. I’ve already scheduled a weeklong stay for my pup when we go on vacation. I would recommend Houndstown Island Park to everyone with a cherished pup!
We leave our lovable dog, Mate, at Hounds Town IP every time we are out of town. They always take very good care of him and he is always in good hands when he is with the Island Park crew! Pictures are posted almost every time that we leave on vacation and it’s wonderful to get photo updates every time we are away from him! Highly recommend them!!!
A wonderful place for your dog. Daycare... Overnight... Vacation... They are great for all. They match up your dog with others for playgroups & not just by size but by personality... My girl is more on the bigger side but prefers groups with smaller dogs. The people of Hounds Town recognized this without me telling them. You see the dogs coming in for the day happy to be there & leaving with smiles on their faces. This is the kind of place where you can relax knowing your precious pup is being well taken care of...
Derek has been caring for our dogs for over five years. He provides outstanding service, is reliable, and cares for our fur baby like he was his own. I wish there were more than five stars to give!
Derek is the best! I’ve never trusted anyone besides family to walk my giant Great Dane and was hesitant in beginning. Derek and Moose had an instant connection that put my stress at ease! Now Moose gets excited every time Derek comes over and I have peace of mind having someone so reliable. Highly recommend!
I can't say enough amazing things about Derek and his crew at Beach Buds! When we send our dog there I am confident that he is safe, and having so much fun! He loves playing with all the dogs, and napping with them as well. Derek and his crew ensure that all dogs that come in get along well with all the dogs, which makes us feel so good to send our dog there. They offer a variety of packages to fit your needs and Pick up and drop off options which i use often! They also sell yummy treats, toys and gear! He also offers dog walking services which I know are awesome as well. Definitely worth checking out for your pup!!
The Staff is Amazing they interact with the dogs, Ally picks up at times and brings home my dog. She’s a sweetheart then there’s Lilly she’s loves the dogs and they love her. Then there’s Scott, him and Lilly work together one in the morning in in the afternoon. In my book they are 3 A+ Staff
Great doggy daycare if you live in the area (even if you don’t and need a beach day!) you can always count on beach buds! The owner Derek is very reliable and you can trust that your dog or puppy will be in great hands! Need pick up or drop off in the area? No problem, Derek will try to accommodate you. They will also feed your dog, if needed. My dog loves it at beach buds and comes home happy and exhausted. Clean facility with a great staff, it’s the best place to bring your pooch when you are busy at work or need of a little R&R! 5 stars!
My dog loves beach buds! Derek and his team help me out so much. I am able to go to work for extended hours knowing my dog is safe and well taken care of. I usually don't get out of work until after they are closed so Derek brings my dog home for me so that I don't have to worry. He was even able to help us with our engagement photos so we could have our dog in a few of the pictures. A very valuable business in long beach
They took amazing care of my dog. Lots of one on one attention and updates to my cell during the day. They even groomed him! Stefanie was super sweet and went above and beyond! This was my dog’s first time being left with someone else and he seemed to do great with them. Happy at pick up :) It was super easy to book online just two business days in advance as well which I needed for a last minute trip. Easy to email vaccination records as well.
I can only say/write the best things about Beach Buds Doggy Daycare. Our dog, June, a 1 yo Duck Toller was a 2-3 times a week visitor for over a year (we are now living in Hawaii). She would become very excited when I asked her if she wanted to go to daycare and see Derek. Derek and his staff are friendly, professional, trustworthy and care deeply about the dogs. They offer so many services. I used pick up which was great when I had to go to work very early. I also used dog walking and knew that my dog and home would be safe. I only wish that I could find a dog daycare as special as Beach Buds in Hawaii! We already miss everyone there :-(
My dog Penny started going to Beach Buds right around the time they opened the daycare and we LOVE it! I have peace of mind all day that she's well taken care of and safe and she has the best time playing with all her little friends. Derek and the staff are all wonderful and I know Penny loves them because she jumps out of my arms most mornings because she can't wait to get inside. I highly recommend beach buds to everyone!
Beach Buds is awesome and reliable. I've been using them a few days a week for the past couple years I can can always count on them to take good care of my pup. Sometimes my work schedule causes me to cancel/reschedule walks, and they have always been very accommodating and only ask for 24 hours notice (at the latest). Alyson and Derek are the best and I get notes on every single walk in the their easy to use portal to know how my dog did that day. Highly recommend.

My dog is my baby, I don’t care what anyone’s says, and this company 1000% gets that! Veronica has everything so perfectly detailed and makes sure your fur baby is 10000% taken care of. My golden has bad anxiety and I was so worried( wonder who she gets it from) they did great and helped out so much even when she was being difficult. I can’t thank Veronica and Stephanie (our sitter) enough for helping us have our girl at our special day. Magnolia was our flower girl and Stephanie helped us get pictures and then for the ceremony. They picked her up and brought her to the venue and then back home and made sure she was all settled for the night. They communicate everything the attention to detail, is chefs kiss!! There will never be enough words to say how grateful we are for Veronica & Gerry and how much they made possible for us on our big day. From the very first meeting over Zoom, we could feel the care and attention to detail from Veronica and we felt so incredibly safe leaving our fur babies in her care. Having two senior dogs be part of a wedding of our size, we had a lot of hesitation and worry about the dog sitting, the transportation, and everything else. On top of that, they had never been dogsit by non-family before so it was a new adjustment for us. But no detail was too small and no ask was too big for Veronica & Gerry – they took note of all of our caveats and worries and made sure that we felt comfortable every single step of the way. During our meet & greet, we had a chance to get to know the amazing Gerry and see her interact with our girls in real time– and they couldn't have loved her more! From rehearsal to wedding day to the brunch afterwards, Veronica & Gerry took care of every single detail so we didn't have to – from watching and feeding the dogs to dressing and transporting them and helping with photos, everything went FLAWLESSLY thanks to them. With every moment, you could feel their genuine love and care for dogs and it goes well beyond "just business." This is the greatest company I have ever found and I cannot express how much of a wonderful experience it was to work with them for my wedding day. My dog is my child and it was so important for me to include her in every moment possible of my special day; but I had major worries about who would manage her for the day, get her home, and make sure she stayed calm. A quick google search and I found this company. (I also found others but after research, I truly felt this was the best choice and the right value for the cost). From my first phone call with Veronica, I knew I was in the right hands (hey, fellow North Shore Animal League Adopter!). Her questionnaires to learn about my dog were so thorough and thoughtful and her timeline for the day was perfect. When my wedding day came, one of her sitters, Lucy, was assigned to be my dog's sitter for the day. Lucy was AMAZING. She was so kind and sweet and took such amazing care of my girl, I never once worried the entire day while she was there. Pawfect for You is a very professional and accommodating company to work with. We used them to bring our pup to our daughter’s wedding so she could be part of the services and be in pictures. Of course we were nervous about allowing a stranger to transport our baby to and from and taking care of her. When we met the individual, Ronnie, who was assigned to her care, all our concerns immediately disappeared. Our pup fell completely in love with her. Ronnie was amazing. Our experience with Pawfect for You was incredible. Veronica was so easy to talk to and made us feel so comfortable right away about the care of our dog. The sitter we were matched with, Jess, did a fantastic job of keeping our pup happy all day long! She was his favorite person on our wedding day (maybe had to do with the treats) and followed every request we made perfectly. It meant the world to us to have our dog in our wedding and to know he was safe and cared for while we were away from home that night. Veronica was SO detailed, from the big things like the timing of arrival for the sitter, down to the type of water we wanted our dog to be drinking.
