Ilwaco is a great place to spend a couple of weeks. The hiking opportunities are exotic. It was about 65 degrees the whole time, in July!
Ember is a BIG puppy dog. We spent a lot of time together on the couch watching TV. She is great on the leash, but one needs to be ready for the squirrel alarm.
Annie and Todd left me fully prepared with wonderful advice on where to eat. I got really comfortable in their wonderful home.

Kathryn and Thomas were excellent hosts who fully understand and live the concept of THS, this truly felt like a mutually beneficial exchange. They respected me, gave me all the info I needed to provide the best possible care of Parker and Lamar and just made feel so welcome.

Parker and Lamar are probably the most well-mannered dogs I've ever taken care of. They're very obedient and just want to please their caretaker. They're fun to entertain and just work well together. It's an absolute joy looking after them.

Kathryn and Thomas' place was spotless yet very cozy, I felt right at home. They generously let me use their car without any hesitation and I took Parker on a couple trail walks and explored Vancouver Island.

I highly recommend this sit, you'll be in for a treat!

This was Tracy and Michael's first time with a pet/house sitter and everything went smoothly. They were great about communication, left a very thorough guide with everything you need to know and some lovely starter basket items and enough for a full english breakfast for us as well and a bottle wine. So generous. Despite having not video called/talked prior we did communicate through WhatsApp and they showed us around their lovely home when we arrived. Their communication while away was great and they were quick to respond to any queries we might have had. They also had someone in to clean one of the mornings.
The home is beautiful with a lovely library and record station, many places to sit and read and lovely office spaces, back garden and a wood burning stove.
There is is so much to see and do in the surrounding areas and it's a lovely place to walk. A car is required.
Onto the best part Bert, Ernie and Eric. They are lovely cats well described in their personality listings. They warmed up to us quite quickly and sat with us and followed us around the house a lot. They were a true joy to spend time with. They are low maintenance and easy to care for.
We would highly recommend this sit to other cat/house sitters and we would gladly sit for Tracy and Michael again if the timing worked out.

Kathy
Kathy and Rene couldn't have been kinder or more welcoming. From the very first conversation I felt at ease, and that continued for the duration of my house sit for them. They clearly love their two cats very much, and at the same time were very concerned about my comfort and making sure I enjoyed my stay.

Enjoying my stay was easy, though! Zorba and Adonis are both very sweet and well-behaved. Zorba is very shy and mostly keeps to himself, but Adonis will happily receive attention, especially brushing! They were easy to take care of, and Kathy and Rene's home is a wonderful place to stay. Lots of space for sitting outside in the back or the front, as well as plenty of comfortable space inside. They really went out of their way to help me feel at home there, which was so appreciated. The home is on a very quiet street, but only a few miles from most of Henderson and not too far from Las Vegas if you want to venture into the city.

You couldn't ask for nicer people to house sit for and, with Zorba and Adonis, this was a pleasure. I hope to have a chance to house sit here again, and if you're reading this and have an opportunity to house sit for them, take it! Wonderful additions to this site.

Busy is such a cutie! He enjoys a long walk in the morning, and is in some ways like a cat! I really enjoyed getting to walk in the park nearby almost every day. The neighborhood surrounding is also great. I was comfy, and cozy, and it's great to have a pool all to yourself! Would recommend

I really enjoyed my time caring for Jasper. Jasper a very calm well mannered terrier. He will show you where he prefers to take his walks.

Thanks to Jasper I can truthfully say that I enjoy long walks on the beach and not just be joking!

Kelly & Wade are a great couple to visit with and I look forward to crossing paths with them in the future whether it be house sitting for Jasper, an outdoor adventure or a sporting event!
