Lianne was a great house/pet sitter. Very communicated and kept our space nice and clean. Our pets were well taken care of.

Jenna provided exceptional housesitting services for us when we were away for a week in January. From the moment we met her, we knew we were in good hands. Jenna was not only tidy and organized, but she also displayed a high level of professionalism throughout her stay at VascoVilla. She kept us updated regularly with photos, which gave us peace of mind knowing that everything was taken care of. Prior to our departure, Jenna took the time to chat with us via phone call and even followed up with a video call prior to our departure to ensure that she had a clear understanding of our expectations. When we returned, we were amazed at how immaculate our house looked. Jenna went above and beyond by washing her own bedsheets from the bed she slept in, remaking it, and leaving everything neat and organized. It truly felt like no one had been in our home. Not only did Jenna take great care of our house, but she also went the extra mile to ensure the well-being of our dogs. She made sure they had food, clean water, and even gave them treats and chew toys before she left. Our furry friends were happy and content throughout our absence. One incident that truly stood out was when our neighbor mentioned seeing Jenna shoveling our three-car driveway on a snowy day. Not only did she take the initiative to clear the driveway, but our kind neighbor even came over with a snowblower to assist her. It was heartwarming to see the community spirit in action. Another aspect that impressed us was Jenna's attention to detail when it came to our plants. She asked us about watering them and specifically inquired about which plants needed less water, more water, or no water at all. This showed her dedication and knowledge in caring for different types of plants, ensuring they thrived in our absence. Jenna also left us a lovely detailed note and some yummy mint chocolates when we returned. This was very thoughtful ❤️ Jenna's dedication, commitment, and attention to detail are truly commendable. We highly recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable and trustworthy housesitter. She goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of both your home and pets. Genarro & Fabienne were amazing pet sitters. Our dogs were really well cared for. They spent 2 weeks at our house, and when we got back the house was spotless. They took care of the grass & pool. I would definitely have them pet sit for us anytime.

Candy was INCREDIBLE. From the beginning, she made us feel very comfortable leaving our birds in her care. She came early to meet the birds and learn about our space. Then while we were away she sent photos, videos and voice messages about our birds. She also took great care of our space as well. We would love to have her sit for us anytime. I could not recommend her enough honestly.

Lauren is a clear, warm and prompt communicator, I felt very confident leaving Cece in her hands. She sent me several adorable photos and updates during the stay which were much appreciated :). She only had a night to bond with my timid pup, and she successfully kept her relaxed and happy. I came home to a clean apartment and a calm and happy dog. Lauren is a delightful, kind, responsible and trustworthy person and petsitter and I would absolutely recommend her to care for your pet.

Olivia and Lucas are a lovely young couple: great communicators and conscientious. Sent me photos and kept me up to date about my dog, the house, their stay. I would invite them into my home again.

Marny and Brian were excellent. We had to leave early in the morning and they were able to arrive early, as they promised. We didn'nt have much time together but they asked all the right questions and we were confident when we left. Turns out, we did forget something but they were excellent about contacting us for additional information. The cats were well cared for and happy when we got home. And the house was clean and tidy. They even washed and dried the sheets before they left! I'd highly recommend them to anyone and I'd have them back any time.

Our dog Marley has had a great time with Shanel, Sam and family. She loved the attention and entertainment from the two boys, and the whole family made a huge effort to fit her into their activities when visiting the area - visit Edinburgh on the train? - no problem for this bunch. Their communications were great, and there were no concerns before, during or after their visit. They left the house very clean and tidy, which is an effort with two boys and a dog! We have no reservations in recommending this lovely family as house / pet-sitters, and would happily leave them in charge here again.

Julia looked after our 9 year old dog who loves people and 8 chickens. The chickens are happy healthy and laying well, our 9 year old dog didn’t want to leave her side when we got home. Julia did a great job of looking after our house and property through wind storms, power outages and snow. We would highly recommend her to anyone who wants their house and pets looked after whilst they are away.

Wow. We were so lucky to have a sitter like Monique! She was incredible and from the very beginning, we knew our cats would be well taken care of. Monique is friendly and kind, and clearly loves animals. Monique was very responsive and had great communication and kept us updated with regular photos of the cats. She went above and beyond when any issues came up, with both the cats and the house. She was confident with applying medication to one of our cats and made sure to follow all our directions. The house was in perfect condition when we returned. We would LOVE to have her back, and highly recommend her to everyone!

Mira was fantastic! She was communicative, responsible, and tidy and took such great care of our pets. We’d gladly have her sit again and we can’t recommend her enough.

Amanda was very organized, reliable and easy to coordinate with. She took great care of our three dogs, cat, fish and chickens - which is not the easiest task! We really appreciated not having to worry about the house and the animals while we were away as we felt very confident in Amanda.

I cannot fault Minova & Jimmy, they were great sitters to our diabetic cat. They administered insulin twice a day and were very self sufficient. I 100% recommend them both!

Very happy with the care my house and dog received while I was away. Great communication, thrift call to action when my dog needed vet care, and my house was clean when we got back. Would definitely have them sit for us again.

It was very evident that Margaret and Tim took loving care of Jasmine, Mindy, and the chickens. Happy, content, lots of walks, cuddles, and attention....all my doggies' favourite things. The hen coop was immaculate and the hens were all smiles too. Please add chicks to your resume. You handled the 5 fluff balls beautifully. Excellent communication throughout and we certainly enjoyed receiving the photos and updates. Our home was neat and tidy and the bed sheets and towels were laundered. Very much appreciated. When returning home after a little get-away, it's wonderful to walk in and continue our daily routine. We highly recommend Margaret and Tim as pet and house sitters. Chris and Lorraine are perfect housesitters. They are responsible, friendly, and LOVE my animals. Lily went with them most days to the store they own in Barrie - she was in heaven. Chris and/or Lorraine walked her daily and gave her a good run. Maestro got all the cuddles he could manage. I returned to a house in ever better shape than I left it - not only was it clean, but Chris had undertaken some small repairs :) I would highly recommend Chris and Lorraine for any house and pet sit in the future.

Had some miss understandings about the first day making it so I left a lot later than I would’ve liked but also accepted that.She also asked to leave earlier in the day on the last day than we previously talked about. That was something I told her was fine but only was because my dog was not in her care only my cats and I was able to leave the vacation and get home earlier. Didn’t seem to read the welcome guide sent but maybe it wasn’t received. I had some late night messages thankfully only about linens and nothing wrong with the pets. I would say she left my house in the condition I left it and my two cats were happy when I got home. She seems to be a great pet sitter just might need clearer communication than I seemed to give her.
