Eric was an absolute joy to look after and stole our hearts right from the start. He loves his walks, loves to play and loves simply to be with you. Full of personality, he has a happy-dance, where his whole body wiggles with joy, and a proud face, when he wants to share his favourite toy. Can you tell, we loved him?! Kim and Steve were extremely welcoming and their beautiful home was the icing on the cake, making our stay very special. It was great to meet them ahead of our sit and we kept each other up-to-date throughout. Chipping Campden is a lovely village with lots of facilities, cafes, restaurants, pubs and beautiful walks on your doorstep. We’d highly recommend!
Charlie is hands down the most well behaved dog I’ve ever sat for. Honestly I’m a little bit heartbroken to leave him. He may jump and bark and go a bit mental when he first meets you, but then he transforms into the most cuddly, chill, zen dog who hardly barks, and just wants to be quietly near you all the time. I had so much fun walking him and playing ball with him (he is ball obsessed!) he just quietly sits by the back door if he wants to bet let outside to wee, by his food bowl if he’s hungry etc… so quietly that sometimes I wouldn’t realise for a bit until he made the tiniest sound. Such an adorable snuggly boy. Lorraine & Josh’s home has everything you’d need and is well situated in a peaceful neighbourhood. One of the comfiest beds I’ve slept in! L & J are also the loveliest people and so easy to speak and get along with. Thanks so much for trusting me with your Charlie and home!
I thoroughly enjoyed my sit in Alvescot. Snowy, Robbie and Guinea pigs were well behaved, well on the most Robbie. I enjoyed the company, house and lovely walks in the countryside, wonderful hospitality and Carterton is only a short walk away. I always feel at home in Oxfordshire and look forward to returning to my new friends in December.
