Such a wonderful sit! Alexandra was amazing, very responsive, and so sweet. I loved getting to meet her and her lovely family. The house was absolutely GORGEOUS. It was in a very quaint neighborhood, with a bus stop right outside the front door for easy transport. The pets were even more lovely than the house! The dogs are sweet and loving, always eager for cuddles and pets. Even the cat was very welcoming and ready for cuddles! I already miss them all. I would definitely love to watch them again and highly recommend this home to others ♥️
This housesit was way too short to explore all of the interesting places in this beautiful part of Ireland. The house is cute and easy to manage. All things were in place and worked very well. Rachel and Demo are really adorable "couple". The dogs are easy to handle and walk. Melissa and Brendan are great hosts, communication was easy and thanks again for the healthy Welcome gift. And I am looking forward to stay in the West again.
We met with Julie a couple of times prior to our sit, with lots of communication in between. Julie & Mark had some significant building work underway, and Julie was diligent in providing updates so we knew what to expect. The building work has certainly transformed the house since our first visit - and their new kitchen is gorgeous! Their daughter was kind enough to set us up with a profile on the different streaming services, with dog themed profile pictures, which was very much appreciated. Akeley is a lovely village with very friendly neighbours, and many dog owners. Juno particularly adores her neighbouring dogs and is inquisitive about next door's cat. Looking after Pip was a real honour. Despite her additional needs, Pip welcomes new company & is very affectionate. Peter developed a real bond with Pip & worked on finding the right whistle to communicate with her. Pip enjoys her walks around the local field - in fact, she gets quite a pace up when she knows she's not going to bump into anything! Juno is full of beans. Bouncy & permanently happy. Juno & I were joined at the hip, she would be frequently found curled up behind me while I worked. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Pip & Juno.
Hillary is super lovely and her cats are so sweet! We fell in love with Maverick and Mia. They’re very very easy to care for and her home is beautiful. We’ll miss them!
Lana and Simon were such a pleasure to housesit for. From the moment I initially met them I felt so welcomed! I’ve stayed in a lot of housesits in Toronto and this one is awesome for a couple reasons: 1.) First Simon and Lana rock. Super cool people. 2.) Mitza and Micho are an absolute dream. If you’ve always wanted a lap cat then this is the sit for you. Anywhere you lay down, Mitza will come and make you feel like the most loved human being on the planet. Within 5 minutes she’ll fall asleep on you- I’ve NEVER met a cat soooo loving. Micho is the same but rather have you come to him. When it comes to food however, if you feed him (even if he ate two seconds ago) he’ll love you forever. They are well behaved! Don’t potty where they shouldn’t. Don’t shed or scratch things. Very lucky to have watched two well behaved kitties. They just eat and love a bunch. 3.) The location is GREAT! If you’re into having a routine and need to focus on your work, there’s an office in the home but bigger than that the neighbourhood has great cafes to work in, a gym, nearby stores- everything you need day to day. Great house sit with Wren and five cats! The kitties all have distinctive personalities and very fun to hang out with. They are rescue cats, so they take time to get used to us. We enjoyed the quite community. Wren and her family are welcoming. We have great communications with Wren throughout the house sit. We highly recommend them!

Our boy Rico attended Brittney’s pack for a while. He loved it, he’d come home tired and happy. We always felt like he was well taken care of. He is a puppy and Brittney definitely tried her best to accommodate to his puppy needs. He even injured his tail because he was too happy, got “happy tail” one day. He is a little menace and tried to jump over the fence a couple times which caused him to injure his leg but Brittney was always very transparent and informed my husband and I. If your dog isn’t a little menace like ours you should totally go with Brittney’s outstanding business, the puppies have plenty of room to play and they will be loved and cared for. We will miss Brittney’s dog house very much.
If anyone out there is looking for a place that will love your four-legged fur baby like it was their own. Brittany‘s dog house is the place to go not only do they do doggy daycare. They have boarding and they do grooming. I have done all three and you will be incredibly happy with either service you choose to use
Brittney is spectacular! I brought my puppy to her daycare over a year ago and just recently used her for boarding with my 2 dogs who are 1 and 3. My younger girl was a rescue from Mexico and she is very cautious around everyone but she loves dogs, I told Brittney my fears as we would be over 5 hours away with no cell service and she took excellent care of my babies. She helped me out when I didn't bring enough food and she kept me updated with pictures as a bonus! Great prices and always a great experience. so grateful to have a place i trust my dogs to go.
Brittney is amazing! She’s been watching our 3 dogs for 3 years now. We have her drop in on our pups on days my husband and I both work, we also have her help out when we go on vacation. She’s also dropped everything to take one of our dogs to the vet when my husband and I couldn’t make it. I couldn’t recommend her more. Our dogs love her. She’s super communicative and sends us lots of pictures when we are on vacation. We know our dogs are in good hands with her.
Brittney is literally the sweetest person! I searched high and low for a place to let my baby boy Boston have someplace to hang out at during the day while his Dad & I have to work. He is a 7 month old rottweiler that isnt neutered, so not a single place would even bother to acknowledge him or agree to meet him because he didnt meet their "requirements." Well Brittney didnt even hesitate to invite him over for a meet and greet with her pack of pups to see if Boston would fit in with her crew. You can tell she is passionate about what she does and how much she cares for her pack. My boy has been going to her place for daycare for about 2 weeks now and I cannot be happier about how excited he gets as soon as we turn into her lane. He sees her and he goes nuts, that's how I know she is amazing. Because dogs know when they are loved and cared for, and will show it ❤ She sends me updates (because I'm one of those hover moms that worries about everything) and even sent me pic updates to put my mind at ease. if you are looking for a place to bring your pup to burn off some energy, look no further. You will not regret trusting Brittney with the care of your pets.

Julie was GREAT! She kept an eye on our two cats for a few weeks while we were out of the country. She sent regular updates and pictures of our pets, and made sure that they always had enough food, water and a clean litter box. Her rates were very reasonable and we were very happy knowing our cats were in good hands. I 100% recommend!
Julie is THE BEST. We like to go on regular snowboarding trips, road trips, and other adventures and always feel like our two kitties are in good hands while we’re gone. She sends updates, takes care of literally everything (food, water, play time, litter boxes), and even brought our trash bin up from the curb when we were gone for trash day. Plus, our cats warmed up to her right away, which is a whole testimonial in and of itself. Julie’s easy going, super easy to work with, and really just great all around. I can’t recommend her and her services enough!

Our dog Shadow loves it here! They always tell you how your dog did, like who they played with or if they noticed particular behavior for you to watch out for. For instance we took him there as a puppy and as he was nearing the age to consider neutering they let us know he was starting to attempt mounting other dogs. Or other times when by the end of a long day he barked a lot and seemed ready to go home. You can tell that they are very attentive. I fully trust them to watch our dog and have boarded him here as well with no issues.
I’ve been taking my dogs here for over ten years. Fort Fido has consistently been a 5 star experience! I appreciate that they do a free doggy assessment to make sure your dog will fit in with the other dogs. They do have some requirements like vaccinations and spay or neuter, which I appreciate. When my senior dog needed to be boarded a few days, they agreed to give her the medication’s and rest that she needed. I recently enrolled my puppy and it was so nice to have a safe place for my pup when I needed a few hours to run errands. Puppy is now 10 months old and completely socialized with other dogs. I like that they offer grooming services when your dog is there for daycare or boarding. I’ve gotten great advice from David the owner, in regard to food and training. They now have a new location in Puyallup as well as the Tacoma location. Online enrollment is easy. Fort Fido is the best!
We love the Fort! Our beagle, Levi, is 12 years old. When we moved to Washington last year, I was stressed out about finding a new place to board him during those rare trips for which he cannot join us, such as when we're out of the country or traveling for business. I am so thankful that we found Fort Fido. Whenever we drop him off, it's clear that Levi is happy to be there. He greets the staff and trots off to the play area without so much as a backward glance at dear old mom—which would break my heart if I didn't recognize it as a sure sign that he is comfortable there. When I pick him up, he greets me enthusiastically, but he is never stressed out, whiney, or overtired, as he has been after staying at some other boarding facilities in the past. This indicates to me that the staff are tailoring our little older gentleman's experience to meet his needs, that he's sleeping well while he's there, and that he feels secure and cared for until we pick him up. That, in turn, puts my mind at ease while I'm traveling. The facility is clean and well maintained, and the staff are some of the kindest, friendliest, most professional people you could hope to encounter. It's clear that they LOVE dogs. We're happy to give them a chance to love our Levi anytime he can't be with us. Thank you, Fort Fido!
Love Fort Fido! We have a senior black lab (Maverick) and a pup (Jester) who couldn’t be more different. Fort Fido allows them each to do their own thing during the day, but also share the same space at night like they do at home. It’s very comforting to know they’re in such good hands. The owners and staff are also very understanding and accommodating. We love and trust that when we travel we know our fur babies are in a safe and happy place which makes our time away from them a little less difficult. ❤️

They take care of Koa like he is their own. He's been boarded here twice and have never been disappointed. Whenever we are on vacation and ask how he is doing we get an immediate response with pictures and video clips of him. He loves it here... He is always so calm when we pick him up.
Desiree at Shaggy Shack took great care of our Labradoodle when he went in for grooming, and he came back looking great. This is definitely where we're taking him.
Kicker has been attending daycare here for over 4 years now. We love it. He is such a happy boy when he knows we are doing down the long driveway to the daycare. Thank you for always tiring my puppers out. He sleeps well after daycare.
My husband and I dropped off our dog for 4 nights. She was well taken care of and we got a full report from the staff on her stay when we picked her up. She's so tired from all the playing, she had a blast! She's usually a timid dog but at the Shaggy Shack she felt right at home! Thank you guys for taking such great care of her! The Shaggy Shack Pet Resort and the staff are amazing and provided such a great experience for my dog, Eliza. This was a new experience for Eliza and she gets nervous, however, Eliza stayed there multiple days and was so well taken care!! The staff obviously not only love dogs but are amazing at interacting with the dogs and making sure my slightly anxious dog was grouped with calmer dogs her size. I was so pleased she was able to enjoy some socialization without feeling overwhelmed. I think she had fun with the other dogs and the great staff! Charles was fabulous at keeping me apprised of her experience and I feel completely comfortable with leaving Eliza in such great hands. The staff and owner care about these dogs as individuals with their unique needs and seem to have an instinct with helping each animal to ensure they have the best experience possible. I highly recommend this well run and caring environment for anyone's pets

Shaggy Shack has been great for our puppy since day 1. He's an ACD and has a ton of energy. We use Shaggy for daycare to help him get the exercise he needs during the work week. They love him like their own and he comes home exhausted. The staff is great and friendly and we've had great boarding experiences there as well when we've needed. It's like a second home for our pups!
Karen is seriously a master of her craft. When we first met her, we could tell right away that she's highly personable and extremely competent when it comes to dog-care. We enlisted her help several times throughout the years and every time our dog, Jake, was beyond excited to see her. She's professional, flexible, funny, and great at caring for our fur baby.

You will not be disappointed. Karen has been caring for my pups on and off for nearly a decade. The last six months of his life my 100lb boxer stopped using his rear end. Karen came several days a week, put him in his wheelchair, cleaned up after him (no easy task), but most importantly, genuinely cared enough to help me track his needs. She took one of the best pictures I have of my old man. I took a few years to get my next dog, which Karen has now walked several days a week for four years. My dog LOVES her walks. If I happen to be there when Karen comes my dog does not even acknowledge my presence. Karen is communicative, reliable, flexible, and trustworthy. I have never once worried about my pets in her care. When my dog allows me to chat with her, I genuinely enjoy her company.

Over a period of several years I used Walkies and the experience was very positive. Even when i had a crazy, out-of-control hunting dog, she was well taken care of by Karen and loved seeing her pull up with her own dog. The two became besties. Karen has an innate sense of what works and doesn't work and always has the best interest of your furbaby at heart. Call her.

Our pups love HH! Our oldest pup is 11 and is treated with love and care. Our younger pup is 3 and has the continual zoomies in the fenced yard. We are so greatful for a place near home that treats both dogs like they are family members! I highly recommend Harstine Hounds!
