Beth
Holly is thoughtful, communicative and tidy!! She took great care of my pets, and I returned to a clean house and happy dogs.

Nikida
Nikida was lovely and welcoming. Her house has all the amenities you might need and a great park for walks very close by. The chickens are a hoot and will trade dandelions for fresh eggs. Gus is a sweetie and way too old to do as he’s told. Morty is a super nervous boy whose initial growls turned into a smooch fest once he had determined we were safe people. Would sit for them again, for sure!

Siobhan
Siobhan left a very detailed guide, which helped us understand the individualized needs of each pet. Sif and Silas are gentle giants, Oska and Dyna are friendly and will come sit on your lap (or blanket). All of them know and seem to love their daily routines, which made taking care of them a breeze.
We felt welcome, clean, and comfortable in Siobhan’s home, and had everything we needed to work and cook.

Carolyn
We absolutely loved housesitting for Carolyn and looking after Bella and Luna. They are the most adorable little pooches we’ve ever met. Carolyn’s house was so tranquil and in such a peaceful surrounding. We will miss Bella and Luna so much. They were a pleasure to look after. Carolyn was such an amazing host and explained everything about the house and dogs for our stay. We feel so lucky to have experienced such a wonderful housesit.

Highly recommended sit.

Unlike some of the other reviews here, we feel it took a little bit longer for Pancake to open up to us. We were there for around 2 weeks and it was only in the second week that we really bonded. In general we found her to be a shy cat. Very quiet meow. Likes to spend time on her own. A lot of time under the bed. Some time on the top of the fridge! Sometime inbetween some blankets. This doesn't mean she isn't affectionate. She loves to spend time in the bathtub (!!) (no water), getting her belly rubbed, or fur brushed, or jumping around. She also runs around occasionally like she is chasing hallucinations of rats or mice. She also would spend time in the evening on the bed before we slept, but in general, left and did her thing in the night. She is really the sweetest cat. We can say that she's our favourite cat that we've sat for (which, at time of the review includes 7 cats). First place out of seven. Top marks Pancake!

The apartment is new, modern and well-equipped. It is right next to a forest that is great for walks or trail-running. It is 15 minutes to the centre of Krakow.

We enjoyed Krakow- any opinion here is probably more subjective than anything else- but a few things... The city is a like a relatively standard European major city. It is nothing spectacular, but it has all the things you would expect from such a description. The major downside for us was the food. We like to cook but found the supermarkets in Krakow to be below par- it was hard to find some of the things we would normally use. We would have to take long-trips to the largest supermarkets in the centre to find ingredients. We also found it difficult to enjoy the take-away or restaurant options. We are very fussy with food, so this might be totally irrelevant for most people. Just a personal thing that I would have liked to have read in reviews, to prepare myself for a sit that would require a lot of cooking of limited foods.

Julio and Ewelina are fantastic. Though we didn't meet in person in the end, we kept in regular contact via text message. They are the kind of people that we like to spend time with (albeit only via text this time). They are compassionate, co-operative and very helpful. This is probably why they have such a cool cat.

Pippa
Oscar is a joy to be with, obedient, very loving and full of the joys of life in his doggie world. Pippa lives in a great area next to the most beautiful expansive park and Oscar is in doggie heaven especially if you have a stick to throw.
I didn’t see a lot of Jasmine as weather was good and she was out doing her own thing but she is a friendly easy going individual.
Routine couldn’t be easier for feeding and walking and lovely modern flat with comfortable bed, walk in shower and modern cooking facilities. Pippa is also a very helpful and caring host. I look forward to the next time!

Pamela
I had a very good housesitting with Pamela. She is nice and flexible. The house was very clean, the location, close to the lake, is ideal and Bean is easy to deal with.
Many thanks!
