We had great communication with Sarka prior to looking after her lovely clean and tidy home in the picturesque village of Little Compton, we were surrounded by fields with walking trails which take you all around the local area, we were very comfortable in the house and had everything we needed we had a very nice time. Hudson……. well he is just the most gorgeous and friendly chap to have in your company. He’s a typical Labrador, fun, energetic and playful and just simply loves humans, his favourite thing is to fetch and retrieve his favourite ball on our walks across the fields, he loves the outdoors tracking animals and sniffing around in the nearby woods followed by jumping in the streams and brooks he is a real water baby who also loves to play tug o war and is socialised with the many village dogs we met on our walks. We would highly recommend this sit to others - a comfortable well looked after home with a weekly cleaner and the most loveable pooch to care for in a great country location. We hope to see you both again x.
We really enjoyed this sit! Gaynor and Paul were very kind and welcoming, making sure we were properly settled. They have a lovely home right near the New Forest, with lots of amazing walks in the area. Gaynor and Paul provided us with a really handy folder of information and walks, we would definitely recommend the Huff Duff walk if you do this sit. Dorje and Kipu are such sweet dogs and so well behaved too. They were totally fine walking off lead and have great recall. It was so nice having them around while we would be home working, as they would come and check on us regularly. We already miss them a lot and wouldn't hesitate to sit them again. We would definitely recommend this sit!
This home and their furry residents are truly too good to be true. Everything was just perfect, starting from the location, ideally placed away from the crowds in a hidden (in plain sight) corner of paradise on a beautiful spot of the river Thames, 1 minute away from a pretty and very convenient park. Reaching the city centre of London is very easy, by tube or by ferry, but I must say that having met the dogs and spent some time with them, we ended up by wanting to stay at home way more than planned. The house boat is magnificent, and beautiful in all weather and all levels of tides. The dogs are lovely, easy to look after and just a joy to have around really. They are of course very different as Dinah is very old and Gumbo very young, but they are equally sweet, well behaved, well socialised and very easy to please. Gumbo requires more attention as she is at that stage where puppies (same as young humans really!) are into exploring the world through chewing, and teething of course makes it worse. She will do it only to objects though, and is otherwise very gentle with everyone else. Dinah is really easy to look after, she might need a little help sometimes, and a little bit of encouragement to get up and go out. And if you see where she lives you can easily understand why she’d rather just stay home! James has been great to communicate with first, and to meet after. He made us feel very welcome, showing us all the things that we would need to know for our sit and filling the fridge and cupboard with everything we could need as milk, bread, snacks and even… a bottle of Champagne! I personally think that this home, pets and people would get a 5 ⭐️ review in every corner of the world. The fact that this corner is London makes it just perfect!
Bethany and Tyler were just the greatest! With the most amazing dogs. :) Darrow and Millie were such a treat to hang out with all weekend-- they have been trained so well. We have been around huskies a lot and Darrow just blew us away with how great he was on a leash with his gentle leader on. Millie was such a snuggle bug and would patiently wait next to the couch to be invited up, and would seek out all the cuddles, which we adored. Bethany and Tyler also just went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well prepared. They were so generous and thoughtful, and very communicative throughout our stay. This was our first sit on THS and we couldn't have asked for anything better. We hope to be back!
What a delightful sit in a magnificent cherry orchard setting! The animals, Maddie the German Shepherd and Lily the Maine Coon Cat, are well loved. While Maddie and Lily weren’t friendly to each other, they were very affectionate to us, and we had many happy hours together. The large house and beautiful gardens complete with lots of flowers in bloom made us feel we were living in a Tuscan villa. Jim and Sandy are thoughtful, generous and excellent communicators. Our only disappointment was missing the cherry harvest which was delayed this year because of weather conditions. Highly recommended.

My experience with Katya has always been super positive. Whether i’m giving plenty of notice or in a pinch, she is always willing to help. I have two guinea pigs, so finding care for them is harder than I had originally anticipated. After meeting for a consolation (which was so kind of her to offer), I have had a phenomenal experience with her care. My guinea pigs always return happy and healthy (sometimes sad that they’re leaving her). I just appreciate how attentive Katya is to their needs!! Highly recommend!!
I hired this company and I was told the fee was $150 total but the babysitter who came and showed up to collect the remaining money said oh no ma’am it’s only $120 and I had 150 in the envelope, I rearranged my vacation to go away on August 27 to the 30th so that I could use the same babysitter Until I found out that the owner would not let up on collecting that extra $30 she was bent on communicating with me every day to get a $30 fee when I gave them 120 because of the babysitter saying oh no, you don’t need to give 150 I gave $120 She says I’ll just use the extra 30 for my Tip. I had arrangements to meet the babysitter to pay her on Saturday and this owner Katika was relentless on trying to collect that additional $30 from me. I already had it set up between the babysitter and I we were doing just fine until Katika got involved so if you wanna Cooperative Company who has their act together who communicates with their employees so they don’t try to charge their client more money than I would say go elsewhere because the owner of this company is not someone you wanna deal with. They are more interested in getting your money than they are and taking care of your dog
Katya took wonderful care of our black lab while we were gone for a long weekend at the beach! She sent updates with photos or videos with every visit which was very reassuring to know he was doing well. Would definitely recommend Katya to care for your pets and will have her come back again!

Laura came to petsit our 4 dogs while we were away for a week in August 2024. We were SOOO pleased with her services! We’ve now used Mortizen Family Pet Sitting twice and have had amazing experiences both times. After having a really terrible experience with a different pet sitter, we were extremely hesitant to trust someone with our three pups again. However, every single person that we’ve worked with or spoken to at MFPS has been exceptional to work with. They have clear communication and we really appreciated the follow up ensuring we were pleased with the service. We had a different sitter both times, but they both communicated thoroughly, sent pictures, and you could tell they loved up on our pups. We are thankful that we found them and now don’t have to stress that our boys won’t get amazing care while we are away. Moritzen Family Pet sitting took care of my 5 month old puppy like she was a member of their family. I was initially nervous because my pup was so young, but Laura abated all my fears with her daily pictures and in depth notes daily after her visit. Wonderful experience with MFPS. My girls were well taken care of (along with flower and strawberry watering, mail and newspapers brought in). Eye drops given to one of my girls. Loved the twice a day updates. Communication prompt. When we got home and opened the door the girls facial expressions told us they were disappointed we were home. This business is the best of the best; well run and staffed, excellent caregivers and definitely worth paying a bit more than other services. Our petsitter Naomi sent us daily pictures and briefings on our dog and two cats while we were in Italy; it made it so much easier to have a good time knowing our pets were in good hands. Once Upon a Dog Tail was the BEST pet sitting service that I have ever used. The owner is wonderful and went beyond all my expectations to make sure that our three cats were cared for and loved while we were gone. Since we had 2 and a half feet of snow while we gone, the owner made sure the cats were set with food and water before the storm and the owner's husband personally made the snowy trek to our house the day after the storm to get our cats fresh water and food. The owner also made attempts to get our driveway plowed for us before we returned and even picked up glass from a light that broke from winds while we were gone. Above and beyond all my expectations!!! I highly recommend Once Upon a Dog Tail. You will not be disappointed with their services!!!
The team at OUADT is reliable, kind, compassionate, and awesome with my dogs. I have a high maintenance pack - crate and rotate requirements, medications, escape artists - and yet I never worry when OUADT is taking care of them. I love the messages and pictures I her after each visit. I know my doggos are loved and well cared for in my absence.
I moved to Lancaster from Philly at the beginning of September of this year. Besides moving, one of my top priorities was finding a great pet sitting company for my 11-year-old calico cat, Candy, since I'm out of town for quite a few weekends and holidays. Naomi was able to meet with us that Sunday so that I could get care scheduled for the following weekend! Everyone at OUADT provides wonderful care to Candy while I'm away--it shows that they are animal lovers! I love how they use the Time to Pet app and write a message with photos after each visit. Even when Candy has days that she likes to hide and not be social, it's evident that they still love seeing her! On other occasions, Candy greets them at the door and is social, allowing pets! After our meet and greet I felt completely confident that Candy would receive great care, and she has, each and every visit. I have two “shorkies” with high maintenance that required extra time and energy for them to be satisfied fully. Due to my busy work schedule; I struggled with finding the time to burn their energy and of course potty training them Was a huge problem. I Requested a try-out service from jogs with dogs & Luckily; I was assigned to the most sweetest, patient, reliable and well trained Personel. Her name is “Imane” and I will not see myself changing to another company. My dogs are now happier, potty trained and way relaxed when I come home from work. Safe, clean and well organized. Obviously the impact on the dog is what's most important and our dog is happy and well cared for at daycare and while boarded there. She was a puppy mill rescue.
Kelly has been grooming my boy for years now. He is not a fan of being groomed. Kelly is so good with him and she does a fabulous job!
The Complete Canine Center is positively outstanding all around. The owner and her staff are professional and friendly and the facility is exceptionally immaculate. My dog is always ready for her "school" days! Highly recommended!!

Inquired about bringing my dog in for Daycare. Was instructed I needed to schedule an appointment. Scheduled the appointment and told them I would be traveling to get there for the appointment. Received a call 30 mins before my scheduled appointment to cancel after I left work early to make the appointment at the time they requested. Unwilling to accomadate a he mistake and sent me on my way.
We love Kat! Our dog Tina is always so happy to go there, play with her friends, and see Kat. She’s friendly, easy to connect with in last minute drop offs, and always sends pics of our precious Tina. Highly recommend, Kay’s great!!
My dog Buckley is 12 years old and has never stayed with anyone except my brother. I was concerned he would be unhappy and worried staying anywhere else. He was very content and happy with Kat at Barks & Parks and seemed to bond with them right away. She sent pictures every day and updated me as to what she was doing with him. I felt very good knowing he was being taken care of and enjoying his stay. I would recommend Kat to give your fur baby a home atmosphere while you are away.
Kat was amazing with Noah during his 3-day boarding. I was immediately comforted when talking to her the first time, hearing about her experience and ambition in transitioning to animal care full-time. Her place was clean, spacious, with a quaint outdoor patio. Noah has separation anxiety so I was very nervous and picky about where he would stay. He was wagging his tail and happy when we picked him up. A 5-star experience! Thanks Kat!
This was our first time boarding our furbaby, Nala, so we were naturally a bit nervous. From the first moment we met Kat, she put us at ease and left us with the impression that she would love on our dog..and we were right! Every day, she followed our instructions and suggestions to a “T”; taking our dog on two walks a day, spoiling her rotten. I think Nala still misses her! 😂 if we are in need of boarding again, Kat will be our first choice and would highly recommend Barks&Parks Pet Services!
Kat took care of my dog as part of her doggie daycare service. She kindly both picked him up and brought him back to my home. While under her care they took several walks, and she shared pictures via a dog sitting app, which was awesome. When my pup returned, he was was happy and clearly had a great time. 5 STARS!!! VERY Happy with this service! My dog Deanna is 10.5 yrs old and recently started having seizures (in March of 2022). We went on vacation in May and booked her with a local kennel (NOT this one). I couldn't confirm that they were or were not giving her her seizure meds, as when we returned & picked her up she had a seizure that night and several more a day afterward. Needless to say when it came time to go to Lancaster PA for a vacation in July which is 2.5 hrs from home, I was VERY worried on where I would leave her and what I would do if something should happen. THEN I found Barks & Parks Pet Services!! We drove out, dropped her off with Kat, and then went to our hotel which was 10 minutes away! Talk about convenience! Deanna had a WONDERFUL TIME there!!! She got along with the other dogs (which is not the norm!). When I first dropper her off the 1st day she seemed apprehensive which I expected. I did NOT expect to hear how well she was getting along with her new friends and how after a few days was fitting right in to her old routine! I wish I could leave her there ANY time we go away! This is a WONDERFUL alternative to a regular kennel. It is a regular house, where the dogs are in a more home-like environment as opposed to in a kennel. I highly recommend barks & parks!!
Kat’s service through Barks & Parks was exceptional!! Our little dog was walked and cared for so well, we were afraid she wouldn’t want to come home. We received twice daily updates on how she was doing along with the cutest pictures. We were incredibly pleased with Barks and Parks and would definitely use this home-like dog boarding service again!!!.
I connected with Woof Roof several years ago. Cooper and Summer are rescued dogs who have never been crated since in my care. I needed a place that would “feel like home”. I found that with Dolores. Even the fanciest kennel doesn’t provide 24/7 human contact, including letting the dogs sleep with them. I’ve only found that at Woof Roof. Dolores always provides pictures and updates so I always feel connected to my fur babies.
Delores has been taking care of our 16 month old goldendoodle since he was only a 3 months old. Imagine needing to leave your new pup only a week or so after he comes into your life. She was extremely comforting and made us feel very confident that Remy would not only be well taken care of (dare I say doted over as a new pup), but he'd have fun and stay on track with his training routine. Remy is always excited as soon as we pull in the driveway at Woof Roof's home. They only take in well-behaving dogs, so we know Remy will have a good experience socializing. We love getting video updates and photos to keep us connected when we are away. You can tell how much they love dogs, in how they respect the dogs and support the owners. I highly recommend!
We always feel good about leaving Jack with Delores & Mark! We know he's well cared for and loved! It's really nice to get pics of him enjoying time with other dogs and being content during his stay. I am so glad we do not have to put him in a kennel -- he's much more comfortable and secure in a warm home setting.
I always feel my dog Is in the best of hands when I leave her with this delightful , caring couple. Bella has been coming to their home for the past 3 plus years and they take wonderful care of her. I never have to worry. And honestly makes going away, A delight. They love dogs and Bella loves going there. I will always ask them first for their availability, taking care of Bella, prior to my planning of my trips.
Delores and Mark have taken care of my lovely Lucy a couple of times. When we pull into their driveway, Lucy runs for the door, eager to see them. It's refreshing to have people I can rely on where I know my dog will be happy too!
Delores loves dogs and dogs love her...my Standard Poodle is a momma's boy but at drop off, he just runs to the door and says "see you in a couple of days - Have fun Mom!"
Please do not use this pet sitting company. Delorus, the owner, walked my 2dogs for about 6 months. Delorus was going through a rough patch financially and I offered to pay her for her walking services ahead of time, which was around $400. Well, all the sudden she started complaining about my lab being awful on his walk to the point where she said he hurt her arm. I got suspicious. I then ended her services. Delorus still owed me some of the money that I had pre paid her which was around $130. I was constantly calling with no avail. Then, one day I went to my car and there was an envelope it was from Delorus. She had written a check for a 1/4 of what she owed me stating that I had my amount incorrect which was totally not true. Needless to say she stole from me lesson learned! It’s a shame in today’s society we try and help people and then get stabbed in the back....

I have had bad experiences in the past with o bels but Besa Pets has been above and beyond! My dog Clove has some separation anxiety and can be high strung, every time I drop her off at Besa Pets, she is beyond excited to see the owners! She always tries to stretch over the counter to see them! She never seems super stressed when I pick her up either which is a huge relief! I would recommend Besa Pets to anyone who asks. The owners are fantastic and you can tell how deeply they care for your pets!

The owners are incredibly responsive and professional. Each dog gets ample play time, water, and attention! Their pricing is reasonable. I am so happy to have found them. It is also a smaller facility, which is a better fit for our dog.

I used Besa Pets for the first time to board my two huskies for 9 days and my dogs came back home happy and healthy. They had excellent communication, answered all my questions, made sure my dogs were safe in the yard and provided me with an update while I was away. I will definitely be using them again and recommending them to others. Reasonably priced as well compared to other nearby kennels and it was close to home, so it was a win all around!
We’ve boarded our dog a few times now and have zero complaints. The owners are super friendly and helpful and our dog comes home happy and healthy. We can tell our dog feels comfortable there and doesn’t get stressed, as she has at other larger boarding facilities. I can’t recommend this place enough.
The staff at Besa makes it easy to feel comfortable leaving your pet in their care. Owners/staff are friendly, responsive and have an obvious love for dogs. Our pup came home from a week long stay exhausted but HAPPY and completely himself… something we haven’t been able to say with every place we’ve boarded him. We will definitely be back.
I was nervous leaving my 2 dogs as I never tried a kennel before. The staff was super friendly and answered any questions I had. Pricing is fair and other kennels charge almost $75/day. I was happy to get compliments about my 2 dogs when I picked them up. I will recommend Besa to others and will use them again. Thank you Besa Pets!
We used Besa Pets boarding for the first time while we took a week vacation and we loved it!!! Five stars!!! The place look super clean, safe and secured. Great service and very responsive... I contacted them mid week to check on our dog because he tends to get home sick and received a prompt update. I will definitely use Besa's service again!!!

We recently moved to PA, and Eleanor (4 yrs old) has had the same groomer since she was a puppy. Finding a new, trustworthy groomer wasn’t an easy task. We are so happy to have found Gochenauer. Eleanor had a good experience, and she looks great. We particularly appreciate the excellent communication we have with them.

Forewarning, I am actually a former employee and not a customer. But I feel as if my review should be even moreso impactful since I have seen all the "behind the scenes" and nitty gritty. I worked for Gochenaeur Pet Resort part time during my pregnancy in addition to my full time job. They treat the dogs excellently and their system is practically flawless. If they tell you they will give your dog a special treat you packed for them, your dog gets that treat. If you request they get their favorite toy, I promise they got it. It is incredibly clean and biohazard free. They are an incredible staff who are truly all animal lovers. As an employee, even part time and only there for a short time, they treated me like family and I was exposed to some of the best working conditions I've ever experienced. They throw little parties for important life occasions, even barely knowing me I was given a "mother to be" celebration with the other pregnant women in the facility. I have since left Gochenaeur's to pursue a home job where I now work comfortably and am with my baby all day, and yet months later, I still think about how wonderful of a place it is!
First grooming here for our bernedoodle puppy. A little shorter than expected, but overall good job! Reasonable pricing for that doodle crazy fur.
I don't know how I feel about this place. The fact that there is an extra charge/fee to play with the cats being boarded, makes me feel like they may not be cared for as well as the dogs there. The cats are cooped up in a room for the majority of the day without much interaction. Yes, dogs don't use a litter box, and need to be walked, but the fact that I would have to pay you to acknowledge and interact with my pet doesn't sit quite right with me. And as expensive as it is to board a cat, you shouldn't have to pay for the staff to play with a self-sufficient animal that doesn't need to be walked or picked up after as much as a dog. I've been reading some of the reviews and the majority are from dog owners, so it is obvious this place is geared much more towards dogs; which is fine, but cats still need some attention & love too!
I would never trust any other facility with the health and safety of my babies! The girls at the front desk are always kind and absolutely ADORE my boys. They always make a big deal out of seeing them :) they always come home clean and happy! My smallest aussie is a puppy mill rescue and is VERY wary of people. Even with his quirks the staff is patient and caring. They were just there in the beginning of August while I was on vacation. They were informative and up front about the strain of kennel cough circulating nationally that isn't covered by the current vaccine and explained their sanitization process thoroughly. Very grateful for the staff and their love of all of our babies!
This was our first time boarding Maddie at Gochenauer Kennels and I couldn’t have been more impressed. We were worried because Maddie is dog reactive but Gochenauer’s took every precaution to make sure Maddie was comfortable and safe. She had a great time playing with the friendly staff and making new human friends! Staff member, Sam C., is extremely knowledgeable and simply incredible with dogs. We wouldn’t want Maddie to stay anywhere else while we are away on vacation! We always know that she will be well taken care of and having a great time at Gochenauer’s!
First experience with boarding our 6yr old dog. The staff was very compassionate and sent me pictures and updates. I feel like she was under great care and they paid attention to her and her needs. She seemed very happy and relaxed when we picked her up. I would highly recommend Oscars and will be using them again in future!
We take our yellow lab here for boarding. She has separation anxiety and I’m confident she is well loved and cared for while we are away. We had one poor experience but they followed up with me on it. It’s a beautiful location and the dogs all seem happy while there. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for.
My husband and I take our 4 month old bully XL here to Oscers for the training classes and we thought we would give there nail salon a try and I was very impressed on how the staff took care of our puppy the staff are so caring sweet and I would definitely recommend this place
Wonderful private training with Michelle! Have been taking my German shepherd for a couple sessions now and have had nothing but great experiences here. Love their method of training and how much they care about treating animals the right way and teaching them correctly! Already seeing a huge improvement in Bailey and I am excited to keep bringing her here!

We had an excellent experience at Oscar's. It was our first experience here. Our groomer had hand surgery. Our friends bring their "fur ball" here and recommended Oscars.They were very friendly and groomed Molly just like she is normally groomed. Would highly recommend them.
Boarded the dog there for a week and he came out happy and tired from playing happily with the other dogs. Last time I boarded at the country club in manheim he came out to us scared and ge was sick. I'll never go there again. This time he was happy and seemed to enjoy his vacation here at oscars. Wish I would have taken him here sooner. Staff is friendly and efficient getting us in and out quickly without forgetting about fussing the dog- the most important part!
I tried to bring my dogs here to be groomed on a Saturday. My appointment was supposed to be at 11 am. They called me at 8 the day of to tell me they had cancellations and of I could bring the dogs in that would be great, this would not have been a problem but during the course of the conversation they told me I would need to drop the dogs off at 11 or before and would not be able to pick them up until 4-6. They said this is because "on Saturdays they only can check people out from 4-6pm." I asked them how long grooming takes and they said 2-3 hours. So then I asked what do my dogs do the rest of the time they are stuck there for no reason and they said they put them in crates. So if you're a first time customer here and have a morning appointment on a Saturday they will take your dog, from them and then force them to be in a crate for more hours than they are being groomed. I waited3 weeks for this appointment and had to cancel because my dogs get anxiety being locked in a crate. Never heard of another groomer wanting to hold your dogs because they can only check you out from 4-6. Definitely would not recommend trying to do business with this place.
We took our dog here for puppy classes and it was great. Michelle was a wonderful class instructor and would recommend her to anyone. They do group and private classes. Not unreasonable pricing either
This has been the best experience for dog boarding. The staff all care about the pets and the owners. Our puppo Lucy is excited to go there and spend time with the staff and other doggos. My heart feels full knowing she's in great hands with people who care about her.

Jess and her friendly and professional staff always exceed expectations! I have 100% trust in her business to take the absolute best care of my babies! My fur family is certainly a handful. I have a 12 year old, 10 lb little man who needs daily medications multiple times a day. His medicines require him to be put out frequently. He also has heart disease and anxiety. I have a 2 year old kitty cat with the zoomies who likes to try and sneak out. Jess with her supervisory veterinary experience and knowledge have proven to handle our crazy! She responds to all inquiries in a speedy and concise manner. Jess and her staff go above and beyond with their communication. I appreciate her updates and pictures while away. I cannot thank Jess and her family and business for their loving, kind and passionate approach. They are the best!
This was my first time using a pet sitter and it very much paid off! Jessica and Matt are warm and inviting and asked all the right questions for when they watched my cat. I came back and found my house clean and my cat happy as can be! Even when I had a question at 9PM, they picked up my call and assisted me. Not only that, they are the most reasonably priced pet sitters in the greater Lancaster area. A great company that I will definitely be using in the future!
What a caring team! One of our dogs is very skittish around strangers and cannot stay in a traditional kennel, but she is a champ when she is in Jess + Matt's care! YPOM is our dog’s second home! We have been with them since they started - and have always been pleased. Our pup is always happy to see Jess, Matt, and the kids, and seems to love being with them, which gives us super peace of mind while traveling. We really appreciate Jessica and Matt's caring approach to pet care. The first time Matt came to walk our scared little rescue dog, Rocky refused to leave his crate. Matt spent a lot of time (and treats) coaxing him and finally got him outside. Since then, Rocky loves Matt! We always know that our animals are in good hands with Your Place or Mine Pet Sitting!
We've been using YPOM for three years now, and are extremely happy with their services. Our two kitties always receive excellent care. It's nice having piece of mind when we are away, and it's nice to know that we can add extensions or changes with short notice.
Love these guys! They are very professional yet very attentive and kind to our animals. Administering medication to our cat was not an issue for them. On top of everything, they even checked our hot tub for us after a bad storm! Thank you-thank you for being awesome in every way!
As a SUPER picky kitty owner, I only want the best care for my pets when my wife and I are out of town. Jess is the answer to our prayers!
