What can we say about Brooke and her PETs?? Was amazing!! Every single minute we were there was really amazing!! We loved how the PETs are very well treated and really very very very friendly!!! The house is in Tacoma in a nice area!! Good restaurants, a very safe area and so far a happy home!! When we arrived there we just followed all the steps Brooke told us about the dogs and in like 30 seconds the dogs started to lick our faces and give us too much love!!! Henry is a very lovely and sweet dog!! He likes to lay on our legs and enjoy some petting time. Always in the right measure!! He was very discreet and very easy going but always full of love!! He will look for you all the time like saying "I like you too much". Apollo it's a special case! When we were going to Brooke's house we've thinking like "omg, Chihuahuas could be very hard to pet sitting sometimes because they love your tutor/owner and could be very protective like barking too much to protect his place and things like this". It's a good thing because it's part of his behavior and we like it, but we were just worried thinking things like "how will it be?". OMG, Apollo changed our mind from the first contact!! We've seen too many Chihuahuas in our lives (my uncle has and had too many Chihuahuas over years). To Be very honest we never saw no one Chihuahua like Apollo. He is very very very sweet and very friendly. He likes to lick our hands and likes to sleep in our laps and he is really very full of love. We loved Jeffrey!! He could be like a Diva sometimes and it's so funny!! He likes some petting time and is always very friendly. He is very smart and lets us know when he wants to go outside or anything. He is a very opinionated cat (in the best good way!! you will understand when you know him!!). Meriwether and Clark are just little kids but they are amazing!! Meriwether is so sweet and likes to sleep close to you. Clark is very elvish and always looking for play! Both are very beautiful but Clark it's like a masterpiece of nature! If you read our review until this point and you are considering sitting Brooke's house please trust what we are saying: do it! Nice place, nice area, very accessible by car, train, bus or wherever you want and more important: good people! We couldn't meet Brooke in person this time because she was taking a course but all pets reflect his owners. Brooke was so amazing with us all the time! When we arrived there we could immediately perceive: here lives very foodie people! How we could't like people who like to cook? :) We've found a very equipped kitchen there and we can feel how important it's for Brooke. We had a connection at the same time we've seen how multi-cultural she is about food things. In our case The low point was: me and my wife just spent 2 nights there because we are traveling over different places. Wish we could spend more time gardening (they have an epic garden there!!) or cooking more. The best point: there lives a happy family and you will feel very comfortable and have good energy there! You will feel that when you see Liel (her son) and Brooke's pictures. We loved how the house details and the pictures demonstrate how they are connected with each other. In this crazy world and in these difficult times we are living in all the world it was comforting to see the lovely home. Sorry for writing too much but we feel like we need to say how good this experience was for us!! Thank you Brooke and Liel for hosting us!! You guys deserve the best always!! Hope we can be there one more time to meet you guys! :)
Would highly recommend housesitting for Brian and Cesar! They are very friendly, easy to communicate with, and have a great home in a fun neighborhood. Booster and Foxy are great pups to be around and are very laid back. Thanks for having me!
Lakshmi and Durga are lovely cats and very easy to care for. Durga would come by for pets and affection often, while Lakshmi was a little more reserved, always keeping an eye from a few feet away : ) You can feel Negar’s amazing spirit as soon as you come in contact with her! This is also reflected in her beautiful and welcoming home which felt like a mini healing retreat. I didn’t come with a car but found the neighborhood walkable with a grocery store and other trendy shops about 20 minutes away. This was my first experience on THS and I feel so lucky that it was with Negar and her beautiful cats! Thank you again for trusting me to care for your space and I would love to come back anytime ❤️

A wonderful sit! Anita was very welcoming and helpful in getting me settled and gave lots of info about the area. The dogs are sweethearts who just want some love and attention and Raphael loves to walk around the counter and be petted. And Rainbow Springs which is right down the road is beautiful and not to be missed!
