Thank you Katharina, Regis och Selena for almost a month at la Rode. I and my friends felt so welcomed to your home. La Rode is a beautiful place, the landscape is amaising. We could sit for hours and just look. There are also history and culture around the corner, for example the home of the famous Toulouse Latrec. Small old villages which where not destroyed during the war and now are very special places to visit. We loved the animals. They are all sweet and easy to handle. We miss them all. They give you so much love. As Katharina writes in her introduction one should be at least two person here to fully enjoy all what is give. Thank you again for everything. 🤗
Tela was such a sweetheart, slowly warming up to me over the sit and always letting me know when she needed something. Tim has clear instructions for Tela’s care and the apartment, making this an easy sit. Tim’s apartment was surprisingly quiet (relative to general NYC city noise) for one of the larger apartment buildings in the area!
I just realized that I did not leave feedback for this portion of my housesit for Ruth (the sit was separated into two sections during the holidays as Ruth came back briefly between her outings). Sorry this review is so late, Ruth! I absolutely adore Ernie and Hamish, the Ginger Ninjas. They are such fun cats to be around. Friendly, playful, and affectionate and very, very cheeky! Since my initial time sitting for Ruth with Ernie and Hamish, I have been back two other times to housesit, and all have been great experiences. Ruth is a terrific host, warm and friendly. She always makes sure that I have everything I need for the sit. Her home is cozy and has everything I need. Super close to bus stops and about fifteen minutes walk to Catford stations for easy access to various tourist attractions. Ruth’s flat is in a great area with shops and tons of green spaces to go exploring. Highly recommend and if I’m ever in London and Ruth needs a sitter, I am always happy to step in!
Kate and Martin were wonderful hosts, communications were spot-on and Kate gave us a warm welcome and showed us around. The welcome pack told us everything we needed to know about Snowie and lots of great tips about the local area. Kate also left us a thoughtful basket of fruit and snacks. Snowie is an adorable little dog, full of character and a joy to look after. He enjoys his walks and likes a head scratch and cuddle in the evenings. The house and local area are fabulous with some beautiful walks and local scenery. We really enjoyed sitting for Kate and Martin and would be delighted to sit for them again.
It was a great time! The doggie Buster was a super sweet personality and fun energetic buddy. The neighbors were really helpful when he wanted to play with his doggie friends. Todd was easy going and friendly.
Just finished 10 days with Skye the pup, Happy the cat and the very friendly (and productive) chickens. Amanda was super welcoming and friendly and always available to communicate about anything that was happening! The house is a well-loved family house... in a good way... with lots of toys and artwork around. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The kitchen is fully stocked. We had everything we needed to cook up some yummy meals! It’s close to everything, walking distance to a great grocery store and a couple of really good restaurants. Less than 10 minute drive to downtown Santa Rosa. Close to lots of good hiking. A really great location! Skye is an incredibly sweet, loving pup. We fell in love with her from day one! Happy the cat mostly did his own thing during the day but loved to snuggle up in bed at night. And the fresh eggs from the chickens are a major bonus for sure! One thing to note about Skye… Amanda told us we didn’t need to take Skye for walks. She has a big yard to play in with lots of toys and a couple of precocious squirrels to bark at and chase up trees! And a professional dog-walker comes to take her out for a big adventure a few times. But, I’ll admit, I fell for Skye’s “sad-eyed-don’t-you-want-to-take-me-for-a-walk” look a couple of times! Skye is a big dog and has a little bit of leash reactivity. She barked at a couple of dogs. But once I realized this I would just cross the street if I saw another dog coming and it was not a big deal. So, you can keep it super simple and leave Skye’s walking to the dog walker… Or you can fall for Skye’s sweet seductive stare and take her for a walk… and just be aware of other dogs. One other minor thing is that, sometimes while we were eating outside, the next door neighbors were also outside having conversations that included some “colorful” language. Not a big deal but something to be aware of. Overall this housesit worked out perfectly for us. It was in the exact location we needed to be. It did not require too much time or effort. And the animals, Skye and Happy, are both total love bugs!

We can’t say enough great things about the grooming salon. All of the girls are so sweet. Moto gets groomed by Sterling. He has a little anxiety going but she’s so patient with him. He loves going now! She listens to what I’d like to have done and offers suggestions. She works her magic every time! He’s a therapy dog at a nursing home and everyone loves all of his fun grooms. We recommend her to everyone we know!!
Camp Bow Wow-Silverdale does an awesome job. Manager Mel is awesome and so is the staff! They know our dog by her name (Savannah). Our dog loves staying there for day visits or over night visits. Totally recommend them.
We enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the staff at Camp Bow Wow and how accommodating they are to our dogs and their needs. Our dogs enjoy their stays at Camp, whether it is daycare or boarding and over the past two years, we haven't experienced an issue with any of their stays with other dogs or staff. Their team takes the time and needs of each camper into consideration when they "enroll" them at camp, ensuring everyone will have safe and pleasant stays. We appreciate all that you do!
Sirius LOVES his pack at Camp Bow Wow! The staff are so kind and wonderful with him for both daycare and boarding, the grooming services are fantastic, and pricing is very reasonable. As an anxious dog mom, I deeply appreciate the staff's communication and the care they take to ensure all doggos are a good fit for camp and the camera feed so I can check in every once in a while. Sirius has been going to camp since he was a little puppy in the small dog yard, and whenever we ask him if he wants to go to camp, the lab zoomie energy is off the charts. He comes home exhausted but happy, the best puppy combo! Thank you Camp Bow Wow!
The staff is friendly and helpful! It’s obvious they love working with dogs! They take great care of our dogs special needs! Our dogs are always excited to go to camp!
My dogs enjoyed their day and night at camp. There were happy wagging tails whenever I checked the cameras in the play area. It is so nice to have a safe, clean, well run facility to leave my girls. Last minute Reservations were easy to make. The front dest was helpful and friendly.
We use camp bow wow for both day care and boarding. She is always happy to be there, and we like that she gets lots of supervised socialization. It is nice to be able to watch her on their webcam. Staff is great and you can tell they are very fond of the dogs they care for.
This was oasis first professional groom (before and after pics). She smells so good and looks so cute! She is a 60lb golden doodle and it cost $135 for all the fixings. It was so worth the price! I will definitely be coming back. The ladies that work there are so sweet! They said she did so good for her first time even when it came down to grinding her crusty toenails lol!

We trusted Alder Creek when we left for a week-long trip across the country, and we will absolutely trust them again. Our dogs were well taken care of and seemed happy and normal upon our return. I love their attention to detail during the drop off process and felt so reassured every time I communicated with them. Can’t recommend enough!
The short skinny, these folks love animals! The animal cages are roomy and clean. My husky’s love going here for grooming and boarding. A couple of notes, they are the premier dog boarding place in Poulsbo, so if you would like to schedule with them please call them ASAP(especially around local holidays like the first weekend of snowboard season and any Finn River Event). I really should leave them a 1 star so that the rest of you stop booking them up😂😂 Story time: one of my husky is a rescue and he is a skiddish little fella. It is amazing to see his tail pick up and him getting vocal when he see’s the ladies here! He b-lines inside and they spoil him with love and attention through his stay! Con: They typically book up around holidays around 5-6 weeks out and are typically booked 1.5 weeks out for the rest of the year FYI
We boarded our dog Argo at Alder Creek pet lodge for 3 weeks while overseas and would highly recommend them for your pet care when away from home. We elected the play option and photos, each week we received images of our dog rubbing freely in one of the fenced yards. We received a text from the lodge letting us know our dog had developed diarrhea, they contacted our vet and they worked to help Argo. We were very happy and will take him back there in the future without hesitation.
This place is awesome! The owners love your pets as if they were their own and go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. The amount of services they offer are vast and reasonably priced. They’re by far the best animal lodge in the state!

From one crazy dog parent to another, this is the kennel you can have confidence in to take your baby to stay at while your out of town. Alder Creek Pet Lodge has a spotless facility, outstanding staff, and beautiful fields for your pup to run in. Maverick got a bath and groomed before coming home and this was honestly the softest and best he's ever smelled. It was awesome picking him up not having to worry about bathing him at home after a long time apart. And even though he doesn't have injuries or arthritis he got to enjoy massages from the in-house small animal massage therapist to help with separation anxiety. It makes my heart happy knowing he got special 1 on 1 time with an added therapy benefit. If I could give this place 500 stars I would, but 5 will do. Keep up the great work Alder Creek Pet Lodge, Mav will be back :)

I have a pit bull and it is always a challenge to find a place to leave her when I got out of town. Alder Creek does an AMAZING job keeping her isolated and safe from the other dogs and treats her like a queen! In all honesty, I actually think her exposure to other dogs around her while she has been there has made a significant improvement in her socializing abilities! Everyone should board their dogs here
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 My dogs, Olly and Hank, recently joined the Big Valley family, and they’re already loving it! They’ve made tons of new friends (both human and furry!) and always come home happily exhausted. As a Border Collie mix and an Australian Shepherd, they have boundless energy, so finding a place where they can play all day and burn it off has been perfect. We couldn’t be happier with Big Valley!

BVPR is outstanding! Our dog loves to spend the day at day care, and the boarding care is exceptional as well. We also use the grooming services for our standard poodle, and know she is getting treated kindly along with the bath, dry, trim etc. The staff is very friendly and recognizes us every time. They are very careful with the dogs at play time, so you’ll relax while your pet is visiting.

I can not say enough Good Things about Big Valley Pet Resort.♥️♥️ Our boy “Bobby” a year old Golden Retriever loaded with sooooo much energy. He gets so excited when we tell him he is going to school!!! He gets to play with his dog family and even learn good dog manners and new words. He comes home ready for a before dinner nap. My husband and I are in our mid 70’s and really can’t run and play with him as we know he needs. Thankfully BVPR helps us with this. Bobby goes at least one day a week but often 2. We've been struggling to find a groomer who could take care of our little dog as he has behavioral issues and we're pleasantly surprised how great this groomer is. She took care of our little guy and didn't charge us an arm and a leg. I'll definitely be bringing all of our dogs in
We knew Kate was the one we wanted to watch our kitties the minute we met her. She was knowledgeable about cats and proved that when she got creative in ways to get our kitties to eat. (cat owners know how finicky they can be especially when their world is interrupted) My kitties are typically very shy but they seemed to take to her quite well. Kate texted us daily updates to let us know how they were doing. That alone made our vacation so much more relaxing because I didn't stress about them being alone. I especially appreciated that she asked us to text her and let her know that we had made it home so she knew my kitties were taken care of. Goodness knows when traveling anything can happen and she had our back. Kate is awesome!

Fantastic Dog & Cat Sitting has been a wonderful partner in caring for our two cats, when we need to leave the area for a few days, or occasionally for a week or two. Dan is professional, coming to our home to meet us and our cats initially. We had a quick conversation, viewed the space and gave the specifics of their routine. He noted information for their emergency vet contacts, and where all supplies are located. If Dan has been booked when we were seeking a sitting date, he has a great team to reach out to, who've been able to help out in his place. Lynn sat for us recently, and did a great job. We feel lucky to have been able to rest easy, while our cats are being cared for by FDCS. It can be a big upheaval for pets, to have their humans gone for days. And so, to know that they're being cared for kindly by someone familiar, that seems ideal. This service is highly recommended!
I’ve relied on Dan to take care of my cat, Milo, when I travel. He does a great job of feeding and checking up to make sure Milo is taken care of while I’m gone. He even gives Milo his asthma medication using a special cat nebulizer. One thing I especially like about Dan is that the first time I used him, he came over to my house to meet the cat, made sure he knew which vet I used, and asked for emergency contacts. I’m glad I use Fantastic Dog and Cat Sitting Service and enthusiastically recommend him.

Dan has been "fantastic" with taking care of my cats when I have to be out of town. He's taken great care of my older cat who needs insulin shots, successfully dealt with the younger ones who don't really like people they don't know, and has been able to make space for me on short notice when last-minute trips have come up. He's even cleaned up messes that have occurred while I'm gone. Would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a quality and caring cat (or dog) sitter!

This is a wonderful service! When I made my first inquiry, Dan responded within a very short period of time. I was pleased because often responses are delayed for a while. I met both Dan and Jeff ( who would be taking care of my cats) and was impressed by their professionalism as well as compassion for pets. While I was away for 10 days, Jeff kept in touch with all his cat reports. When I came back, my place was tidied up and my cats were relaxed. I highly recommend Dan and Jeff!

When we first contacted Pete he was super responsive and he was able to take King on July 4th weekend for boarding. As we did our research we realized this wasn’t a commercial place where they have a large amount of dogs which we really wanted for King We told him he had separation anxiety and said it wouldn’t be a problem. We also received updates from him throughout the day. Pete’s accommodation for late pick up was greatly appreciated since we were held up from our drive on the way to get him. Upon arrival, King looked super happy to see us, looked well rested and fine. Pete said he was a perfect dog and we really appreciate his words! We’ll definitely have Pete take care King for boarding and day care if needed. Thank you Pete!
Pete was an enormous help to us when I was having my baby. He was willing to have a flexible drop off time, and he even said that he would leave his phone on in case the baby came in the middle of the night. When it was time, my dog (who had never met him) instantly liked him and was happy to be left at his house. Pete sent pictures of my dog having a nice time, and seemed genuinely happy to have my dog stay with him. He even gave my dog a toy to take home with us! Pete's services were above and beyond what I was expecting, he treated us like friends even though we were strangers. I am so happy we found him, and I would absolutely recommend him!
We needed a place for our reactive dog to stay for the day while went for a hike on a trail with many other dogs. Pete was responsive & communicative and sent us many photos of our dog. Thank you so much!!

Such an amazing and stress free experience! We were expecting and didn’t really know how to plan for dog boarding. When I called to inquiry, I was met with ease free info and assurance that they’ll work with us and completely understand. We have two bulldogs, and when we picked them up they were both in good spirits. One of our dogs is a lot to handle. They seemed to have no issues and were very understanding. So grateful for Seattle Dog Boarding and allowing us to focus on welcoming a new baby girl while our dogs were in good hands!
Absolutely the most inhumane and unprofessional doggy daycare. Lets just say we didn’t end up leaving our dog at Seattle Dog Boarding but they charged us for the entire booking. So be forewarned… They make you pay upfront with no tour of the facility; which hindsight all makes sense as if you saw the rundown house and the folks that live there you wouldn’t leave your dog there either. Pete wasn’t there when we showed up to drop off our dog. No one answered the door, so we called Pete hoping we were at the wrong location. He had to call a “roommate” to come to the door. By that time, we already decided that we weren’t going to leave our dog there and politely asked for our money back. The roommate said we needed to handle with Pete who finally texted us and said there are no refunds but we could book for another time. I can see Pete asking for us to pay for the first day and reimbursing us the remaining amount but no he outright refused.
So happy we found Pete and Seattle Dog Boarding to take care of our huge 7 month old puppy and our 15 year old dog. They are at such different stages in life and I never thought I would find someone to handle both of their needs. We just returned from a 10 day trip and both dogs were so well cared for and came home happy and healthy. The senior dog had space to chill and relax and the puppy had a blast playing with other dogs. Thanks you Pete and everyone at Seattle Dog Boarding for taking such great care of Cleo and Bear!
Worst doggy daycare experience of my life. Incredibly unprofessional and not to mention expensive, as a single day of daycare is $69 (which they make you pay up front with no tour of the "facility", which is just a rundown house). In addition, they don't make you provide proof of vaccinations. I dropped my dog off at the house. Pete wasn't there when I dropped her off, but his roommate was. This man didn't look like he should be around dogs. These dogs are our children, so if a man can't take care of himself then I'm not sure how I can trust him to take care of my dog. Incredibly unprofessional and off-putting. I knew in my gut something was off, so I returned 10 minutes later...she was alone in a house full of larger dogs she had never met before. There was zero staff inside. I had to call Pete so that he could find someone to return my dog to me. I waited 10 minutes for a "roommate" to emerge from behind the house took my dog and left immediately. This is an INCREDIBLY SHADEY place. It's dirty, disgusting, and probably a front.
They had my 1 1/2 year old Yellow Lab for six days and took excellent care of her. She is a hand full and a very busy girl. They keep her busy, they played with her and took her for daily walks. They even sent me pictures of her playing with other dogs in the program. I think they are great and I can fully recommend Seattle Dog Boarding as a good place to board your dog!
Our dog spent a night at Pete's house during a quick trip to Seattle where our regular boarding options back home weren't going to work out. Pete was very accommodating and our dog had a great time and made buddies with the other dogs. We would use Seattle Dog Boarding again.
Our Shiba has been there multiple times now with no issues. He is spoiled, picky and doesn’t like people. I was iffy due to older reviews but gave them a chance anyways. This last time he was there for 18 days. He was being stubborn and wouldn’t eat so they mixed in rice and he was happy after that. I knew I made the right choice on choosing them because when I picked him up, he ignored me and ran out to the lady in the office and jumped in her lap all excited, like they were best friends.
The people who work here are seriously angels! They are so kind and compassionate. Our dog had a stress seizure (from separation anxiety, new environment, etc.) shortly after arriving. They were really calm and helped us by driving her to an emergency vet to get checked out. We are so thankful she was in the hands such fast acting and trustworthy people. Highly recommend, even though we didn't board very long with them!
When you walk in the stench of urine is incredibly strong. My dog came home covered in her own urine and she definitely lost weight from the stress. However the staff are very friendly.
We boarded our dogs for a total of 12 days. We opted to have them bathed before bringing them home. They smell AMAZING and are just as happy as when we dropped them off. We have nothing but amazing things to say about boarding / grooming at McDonalds. 10/10 recommend. Staff is so friendly, and truly treated our dogs as if they were their own. We are so happy we choose to board our girls here, & we will continue to do so when needed! Thank you to all the amazing staff at McDonalds Kennel for giving our girls a great experience, and giving us peace of mind while we were on vacation.

In 2017, I was going through a terrible divorce and preparing for a minor surgery. McDonald's Kennels saved me in a big way. I was worried about my three dogs, and I wasn't even sure how long I might need for recovery. The workers listened to my story and worked to give me peace of mind while the girls were in their care. When I came back to get my girls, the owners met me and refunded everything I had given them. And then chased my car because we left one of my pup's favorite squeaky toys! Truly amazing people with big hearts. I have many tearful smiles in remembrance of such sweet, kindhearted people. Thank you to everyone there. My girls and I are in a much better place (as you can see by my picture) and I don't think it could have been possible without McDonald's Kennels. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
You can trust this place. They did a good job with my dogs and worked around my schedule, allowing others to pick up my dog for me. The only problem I found it the smell. If you can, pay for a bath before your dogs leave so you don't bring the smell home with you.
Love love love them! Such wonderful people working there and my 2 dogs were so well loved and taken care of. I will not board them anyplace else! They allow you to bring your pets toys and beds etc to make them comfortable. They even offer grooming and baths!
I wanted to shout out this amazing, friendly staff kenneling place. My big pit Bull pup stayed here for about a week and had the best time!!! He was played with, loved, and placed in a big kennel for his needs. Thank you so so much for your patience and kindness to our baby moon!! They also offer military discount which is amazing!!!! I couldn’t recommend this place anymore!!!! They really are the best around with amazing rates!!!
We have taken our puppy there since we got him, about a year ago. They know Otto well and take really good care of him. He seems to enjoy going there. The owner and his staff are wonderful!
Met with Julie a week back. Super nice! Love the way her home was set up and she's very sweet to animals. She is taking my pups for a few dates and I'm really excited and glad they will be in good hands. Many of the places I was looking to board pretty much told me they would sit in the crate most of the time, unless I paid for 15 min walks. Julie gives 1 on 1 attention to your animal. Looking forward to working with Julie. If you need boarding or pet sitting I would recommend her.
Julie is the best dog sitter on the planet. Our boys love her and her family. We have leaving our dogs, but knowing they're at Stella and Floyds gives us peace of mind.

Lady Di doggy daycare and boarding is fantastic. Our dog, Pippi is actually pretty shy and was very nervous with our previous doggy day care. Now she runs up the stairs to see her friends! Pippi clearly adores everyone who is at Lady Di. We feel totally comfortable boarding her there too. One less thing to worry about when we have to travel. We have also used Lady Di's for in home pet care for our cat, Sophie. We were totally confident that she would get great care while we were gone and we were right. Sophie was happy to see us but happy, healthy, and friendly when we returned. Thank you to everyone at Lady Di Pet chaperone. I can't recommend them enough!

It's tough to let someone into your home when you're traveling, so finding someone like Sarah - kind, trustworthy, reliable... and a true animal lover is wonderful. Sarah is simply amazing. We've taken a couple of trips to care for ailing family members and she's provided home visit care for our shy cat, Tucker. Not only does she do the basics - feeding, cleaning the box, giving pets (if he lets her get close enough) - she also reports on anything unusual that she happens to see. Knowing she's here to care for Tucker has helped us focus on family matters without worrying about how our kitty is doing in our absence. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend Sarah and her team. My active goldendoodle loved going to daycare sessions ahead of my 12-day trip overseas. I felt totally relaxed leaving her there. It's obvious they take care. I would totally use them again!
We are so grateful to Lady Di Pet Chaperone and staff for taking such wonderful care of our 5 month old puppy. I was forced to find a daycare after getting a not so nice note from a neighbor. I had seen this place close to where I live so I decided to check them out after doing research and reading reviews. After completing the application and sending an e-mail, I was contacted immediately. He has been going there almost two months and he is a very happy dog. He is excited to go and gets home exhausted from playing with his friends all day. Because of his positive interactions and the great care from the staff, he is friendly around people and other dogs. As for me, I am able to go to work without feeling guilty because I know he is in good hands. It is evident that Sarah and her staff really love and care about what they do.

We engaged Cold Noses to look after our cat Sasha and everything went smoothly. Sue took the time to meet up with Sasha and understand our cat’s needs. She sent regular updates while were away and we came home to a happy and healthy cat. Sue is the best! She is warm, caring, and professional in all aspects of her service. We received daily photos and texts and found a nice report card and thank-you note upon arriving home. Sue Etsy is an amazing pet sitter & animal lover. She’s very organized starting with a meet & greet, After going thru our plans she was concerned about the long time between her last visit & my arrival. She suggested I add an evening appt for Romeo which I totally appreciated. Her care of Romeo was spot on & all his needs were met. One other thing - she told me Romeo is a “social eater” something I hadn’t realized. Now Romeo comes to me to escort him to food dish enjoys petting as he purrs loudly while eating. This made us closer.
Sue is a true animal lover, she is dedicated to her dogs as well as others. If you have her watch your pet you can be assured that they will get the best of care.
Sue took care of my kitties while I was away and even sent me pics of them each day, which I really appreciated. She also took great care of my home, getting mail, watering plants and cleaning up any unexpected messes made by kitties. 5 star service for sure, I highly recommend!

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!! We took Barkley (Cairn Terrier) and Copper (Biewer Terrier) to Michelle for their first time. They both received the full treatment and came out looking amazing. We couldn't be any happier!!! Camp Union Pet Lodge gained customers for life and we will never take our dogs anywhere else! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
We had nothing but good experiences at the Camp Union Pet Lodge when it was run by the previous owner. We regularly took our oldest dog to daycare, and saw Michelle for nail trims and occasional baths. Since they left and the owner took back over, things have gone downhill significantly. They are impossible to contact over the phone, and can only be reached via Facebook Messenger. I spent a week calling multiple times a day before finally getting through. This will be a long review, because there is a lot worth mentioning. We boarded our (now two) dogs over Thanksgiving, and the following was our experience: Initially I made the reservation to include our cat, but contacted them via Facebook a few days later to remove him. I also requested multiple times that our dogs be in a larger shared kennel, rather than two separate kennels. The day before the reservation, they called to confirm we were bringing all three in. They had no record of me removing our cat. They also had no record of me requesting a shared kennel. At dropoff, we brought our own food, and well as their own bowls. Our youngest requires a slow feeder bowl for medical purposes. I labeled the bowls and included written and verbal instructions for feeding. When we picked them up, the bowls had not been touched. We also brought their own Costco dog beds, both of which were covered in urine and mud at pickup. I removed the covers, but they had been soaked through and were not salvageable. This was disappointing considering we’ve boarded them with their beds at Alder Creek and they were fine. Our dogs themselves stunk like urine and had matted spots in their fur. They needed a bath as soon as we got home. Our older dog’s eyelids were red and puffy, similarly to when he had conjunctivitis as a puppy. We’re hoping it’ll go away in a few days. We never received any updates about the dogs during their stay. At one point, I reached out and asked how they were doing. Their response was “The dynamic duo are doing great. Smooth sailing. We are enjoying having them with us.😊”. This felt impersonal, and seeing the state of them at pickup confirmed our suspicions. Lastly, they only returned one of their collars and couldn’t find the other. They searched everywhere and we ended up leaving without it. Later that day they called and said it had turned up. I really just don’t understand how it was misplaced in the first place. Overall, this was not what we expected or wanted to come home to after a stressful day of traveling. We won’t be taking them back to Camp Union. While it is more affordable than Alder Creek, we are more than happy to pay for the high quality of care there. On the off chance the current owner is not aware of the conditions in the facility, I really hope they see this review.
Best place with friendly owners and workers. I have an emotional support shih tzu and he ended up getting sick but this place helped with loving open arms, they would talk with him and holding him. Thank you Camp Union Pet Lodge. PS maybe more later.
I took my gigantic Great Pyrenees Poodle mix (Pyre-doodle) in to be groomed. He just got too big and defiant for me to bath and trim his nails. Well I wasn’t expecting anything to get done because he is a giant scared baby. However! Michelle did an amazing job getting him bathed, blown out, brushed, nails trimmed 🤗😍♥️🥳! Pricing is awesome! We will forever be a client from now on. Thank you so much for making our baby so pretty 🤩. I highly recommend this groomer. She is also the only groomer in the place so I will be calling majorly in advance to ensure an appointment time. I do not want to go anywhere else ♥️♥️♥️
I had previously worked with this business for boarding and grooming for multiple dogs I have cared for. They were wonderful to work with every time. The only difficulty I ever had was restricted windows for picking up and dropping off pets for boarding. Unfortunately from what I understand the business changed management. This time around working with them has been arduous and I will no longer be taking my business to them. I attempted recently to use them for boarding for a dog that they haven't seen before for boarding, but have seen for grooming services about a year ago. They were VERY difficult to get on the phone and I had to call them multiple times throughout the day. When they finally called me back I wasn't able to answer the phone because it was the one hour of the entire day that I was in a work meeting. They left a message saying they needed shot records for the animal emailed to them, but did not give me their email address nor did they actually confirm they had space available to board the animal. So essentially they gave me no useful information. Again I had to call them multiple times to finally get an answer from them on if they had room to board the dog on the days I needed and get their email address. After I sent the shot records they were very short in their reply message wanting to know when I could bring the dog by without any further information. I responded that I wasn't sure what they were referring to. The last time I had boarded with them they didn't need to do a meet and greet (if that's what she was even asking for in her message) and asked if their policies had changed in the last year. The response I got was not friendly or professional stating that they do require to meet the dog before booking a boarding appointment and that their policies are subject to change at any time. When I complied with their demand of a meet and greet and suggested a time that worked well for me since they failed to include any information in their response about times that worked well for them, they declined my suggested time saying the following week worked for them but again failing to give any suggestions of days or times. At this point I was hesitant to continue pursuing business with this boarder because I wanted to ensure that I had a confirmed spot at a boarder before spots filled up and this business kept pushing out when I could obtain a confirmed spot. I contacted another boarder that was able to schedule and confirm my reservation within 2 emails within 15 minutes of contacting them. Camp Union Pet Lodge was extremely unprofessional in this entire exchange. The client should not have to hound the business or work this hard to give them their money. If you want to board or get grooming services and you live close to this place, I would even recommend you drive to another business further away because it would ultimately be more convenient for you in the long run. I give two stars: one for the excellent service I received in the past, but otherwise since the new management I would give them a one star.
I board my GSD and Berner/GSD Mix with them. The Staff is very friendly and accommodating especially with my Berner/GSD Mix who is very skittish and afraid. The make sure he is in the kennel next to his sister so he is more comfortable and they take the time to sit with him to make him feel safe.
Brought my German Shepard after a last minute scramble to find a sitter after my regular one bailed out. They were great! Welcoming and friendly staff, and very accommodating.
This place is absolutely wonderful. It's so easy to make a reservation, and they accommodate later pickups and drop-offs. My dog gets playtime during the day, so I know she's getting the attention she needs while I'm on vacation. My cats get to stay together in the "free-range kitty" room. They've actually built special shelves in the kitty room to help keep my little guys safe! I never worry when my "kids" are staying at Camp Union Pet Lodge!
Had reservations for July 14, 2023, arrived at 7:50, left at 8:50 without ever seeing a human soul. Phone not answered, message inquiring if misunderstanding about drop off time not returned as of July 15th. Don't risk your vacation on this place !!
We got lucky with having this gem nearby, but if we ever moved out of Seabeck we'd still make the drive for Camp Union Pet Lodge. The staff is so friendly and so very obviously love and enjoy being around animals. Our dog started out being kenneled here, but now we take him regularly for grooming services. He always comes home smelling clean, extremely happy, and well taken care of. It's always nice when you pick up your animal from an extended stay and the staff comments on how much they'll miss him. Makes you confident in your selection of kennels.
