It was so nice to have Veerle & Nicholas take care of our beautiful Bella and home. Bella seemed to really take to them and always seemed relaxed in the photos they sent. They really went above and beyond when it came to taking care of our home as well. They helped with a few items that took place while we were away and left the place immaculately spotless upon our returned. We would definitely have them back again if dates ever lined up. Thank you again for treating our home and Bella like your own. :)
I had a great stay in Mirfield - would definitely recommend - Laura was very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful and always responded promptly to messages. Merlin was an absolute dream to look after - textbook definition of a general giant - enjoys plentiful brushes and is very quick to let you know when he wants something!
I had a wonderful time staying at Marty&Raf’s apartament, looking after the most gorgeous cats! Marty and Raf were very organised and communicative throughout the process of setting up the sit as well as while I was there, making it a breeze. Although they weren't able to be there when I arrived, I felt very comfortable knowing we had already planned and communicated everything beforehand. Gigi and Billie are a delight to look after! They are calm, cuddly, and fuss-free. And they are certainly real beauties. Their home which is in the perfect location not only for lovely city and river walks but also for great cafes, shops and tube lines into other parts of London is spacious and comfortable. I truly enjoyed my stay there.
Daisy is an adorable well behaved gentle dog. I really enjoyed caring for her on Samos. Minnie mouse and Filio the cats use the cat flap come home for mealtimes and enjoy cuddles. Marjan explained everything during the handover so the sit was a smooth process with contacts available on Samos in case of an emergency. I had such a lovely stay at Kelly’s home caring for her adorable cat Billie, who is an absolute joy to spend time with. I was lucky to meet up prior to the sit to get introduced to her furry one and be shown around to get all the needed details to take great care of her kitty and home. Kelly is a very kind and generous hosts, I felt immediately welcomed! Her cute, cozy and private home was a great place to spend time too, be it walks along the coastal road, sitting outside in her private yard (with Billie keeping me company of course!), or curled up with a book in her corner nook always with Billie on my lap - on or under my blanket :). Located close to the water, it’s a beautiful property and only a short jaunt to the grocery store and shops. The house is very clean and well-organized, comfortable and just has a very cozy feel to it, making for a very enjoyable stay! Billie is an absolute sweetheart and easy to take care of too. Being an older cat, she had some medical concerns which required a daily pill (which she happily ate in a pill pocket), but overall she has a very easy and manageable routine. She is a grazer of her food, so doesn’t wake you demanding breakfast at the wee hours too! But also a master at communicating what she wants, be it to bring her outside with you, it’s playtime, or that your lap is in dire need of a cat laying on it, or that it’s time for her to go under the covers…it’s adorable! She enjoys her many sleeps throughout the day, and tends to get mini-bursts of energy, happy to chase elastics or laser dots around the room. At night, she’s especially snugly, curling up next to you in bed. As Kelly was out of cell-phone reach during her trip, she left contact info of one of her daughters who was a great support in a vet visit as well. Above all, it was a delight to look after Billie, and stay in such a beautiful spot. I would definitely recommend this house/pet sit to others, and not hesitate to come back and sit for Kelly again!
Heather and Josiah have the most beautiful place. I loved my time looking after their incredible kitties Jasper and Kissa, they have gorgeous natures and love a good snug. So peaceful sitting in the backyard on a warm summers night, it was the perfect place to settle back into Austin life. Thank you so much for having me guys, it was a pleasure looking after your place
This was my first sit for THS (although I was already an experienced petsitter) and Karin made it easy! Both she and her animals are easy going, and while it might seem like a lot of animals, they were all low maintenance. Karin was kind to offer for me to come a day early and was a gracious hostess. The house is on a hill overlooking a farm and it's a lovely view (especially at sunrise) and a very quiet & peaceful setting. I hiked in nearby Woodbourne Forest Preserve & wandered around Tunkhannock while I was there. Would recommend for a quiet getaway - the care of the animals is easy. Shelby and the kitties will give you attention if you want attention and leave you alone if you don't. (Although a couple of the cats are shy & you may not see much of them at all). If my meanderings take me in their direction, would be happy to sit again!
