This is honestly one of the best sits I've done, and not just because Roxy and Rosy are such great companions, but because Wendy and Dave made me feel so completely welcome. Roxy and Rosy are sweethearts! It definitely took them some time to warm up to me, but, as long as there was food, somewhere good to nap, and playtime, they were content. Their schedule was clearly outlined in the detailed Welcome Guide, as well as care of the fish, but I was shown everything before they left so I knew exactly what to do. Roxy had a sore on her back leg, which they showed me when I arrived, and it needed some extra attention during the sit. But they were both incredibly helpful when it came to helping Roxy and taking care of her. Wendy and Dave were both incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home as soon as I arrived. I stayed the night before they left and I'm really grateful that it gave us time to get to know each other. But I really loved that we stayed in touch between the first WhatsApp call and the start to the sit. It all made me feel really taken care of and comfortable when I arrived. Wendy was kind enough to take me shopping, as well as drive me to some local points of interest, and it was a great way to get to know the area! They both kept in good contact throughout the sit. The home is exactly as described. Lovely, spacious, very welcoming, and great energy! The room I stayed in was so nice, with its own balcony, next to an incredible bathroom! The location is fantastic, with beautiful views from the windows looking out onto the hills and the river. Wendy and Dave were happy to show me how everything worked and I felt completely comfortable contacting them about anything. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the road and the bus service is incredible - it goes so frequently and will take you literally anywhere in and around Kamloops! Everything is easily accessible. There are also some fantastic walks in the area. There is a walk along the river that I went on every day during the sit, as well as stunning day long walks nearby. I'm really grateful I had the opportunity to do this sit. It was such a fantastic experience and I feel really lucky to have met Wendy and Dave as well! I can't recommend it enough.
This was an incredible stay! Peggy and Lisa were a great delight - wonderful! They made me feel very welcomed and at home. They had excellent communication and instructions which was greatly appreciated. Their home is extremely clean and tidy which was also wonderful to walk into. Everything I could possibly need was labeled and easy to find. This is a very quite and relaxing location. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. There is a nice park just beside their community with easy access. Bellamy loves going to the park, me too! I had been around a Boxer for my first time just before for this sit so I some idea of the personality traits of this breed. They’re an incredible breed. While they can have stubborn moments - lol - they are also highly intelligent, communicative and will let you know exactly what they want or need. Here in lies the stubbornness but can’t we all be stubborn when we can’t get what we want? Hilarious. They love affection and attention but are also content to chill out by themselves. I just adored Bellamy - TREMENDOUSLY! - and I like to think the feeling was mutual. He is so special, loving and easy. He loves car rides which I was encouraged to take him out with me and we had a fun time looking at Christmas lights together. I also appreciated that Peggy and Lisa had him groomed prior to my sit. Thank You! All in all this is one of my best sits thus far and I hope to match up and get invited back one day! Perhaps you’ll be lucky enough like me to get to enjoy these wonderful women and fabulous Bellamy.
Stan is a very kind host who met me at the train station in Aberdeen when I arrived. He showed me around Newmachar, making sure I knew where to find the shops and the bus stop. The buses run frequently to Aberdeen, so I was able to take several day trips. On other days, I enjoyed Stan’s lovely garden, walks around Newmachar, and of course, spending time with Tigris. She is a very friendly and affectionate cat who loved to cuddle up on the couch and slept on the bed with me at night. Thank you, Stan, for sharing your home with me!
What an amazing sit! Beth welcomed me to her home with a tour and details for care of the place and the pets. Beth's furry companions are sweet, adorable, chill, and so loveable. Leah does her own thing and, like most cats, will come to you for affection when she wants it. We got along great and I loved her demeanor. Maggie is a ball of cuddles and love. She was fine just to chill in the chair while I worked from the home office. Maggie is easy to walk and super fun to play with. I very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely return for another sit!
We loved our stay at Jill’s! She was easily accessible by text. Her Finnegan is a sweet, gentle pup. Cats are easy, easy care. Her home is small but full of beautiful eclectic objects. Right at the side of Puget Sound, you can walk Finn along the beach of round rock and pebbles at low tide. If not, then put him in the car and drive the 5 minutes to Lincoln Park for a great walk thru the miles of woods or on the pavement at shore side. We also walked him from her house almost a mile to Lincoln Park. Her deck overlooks waters where ferries are constantly on the more. Nice sit. We recommend her.

I got my dog Hank groomed there yesterday and I’ve never been so happy. Hank looks amazing, the groomer did a phenomenal job, and I felt super safe leaving my nervous boy there. Couldn’t speak highly enough of the grooming here, won’t be taking Hank anywhere else from now on.
Sawyer is so happy here! The staff is very friendly, facilities are always clean and there is plenty of play space. I would highly recommend Lake Forest Kennel for great doggie daycare or a place you can feel good about for a longer stay when needed.

Our house flooded and we needed to board our cats with very short notice. We called while we were on our way and they couldn't have been nicer! Told us it was no problem and to bring them right over. We didn't even have carriers and it wasnt a problem. Such a nice group of people who seem to really care about animals. Our cats have been there for going on 3 weeks now, while we miss them terribly, it's so nice to know their in good hands!

Staff very friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and they had lots of space for dogs to play. Prices were fair.
