Savannah and Cameron stayed at our place for almost one week . Pros: The dogs were taken care of very well. The house was left tidy. During our initial chats and calls we mentioned them that our flight is in the afternoon so would be nice if you arrive early in the morning and Cameron managed to come at 8:30am for briefing which we appreciate. Cons: On the day of return they informed us that they want to leave early before our arrival due to some issues with their rental car. We were on the way to airport and got super stressed hearing it out as this is not what we were ready for.We communicated that we are not comfortable with this approach and would want to have a debriefing in person .They kept on insisting but after a push agreed to stay back until we arrive and mid air informed that they want to leave shortly after our arrival. We gave them the option to stay at our home or leave a bit later that night after we arrive but they still didn’t want to. As soon as we boarded the train from airport we informed our timing of arrival which was 30 mins later than initial estimated time due to train cancellations.To our surprise they left before our arrival which was very unprofessional. Yes it was only 10 mins before we arrived but as I mentioned it was not about the dogs being able to stay alone,it was also about our home. They didn’t have any sits scheduled the next day as per their calendar ,it was a holiday planned in Germany so they could have been flexible.We were scared that something has gone wrong and that is why they want to leave before our arrival . I would not recommend them only for this reason . Sharing your plans last day of your stay to the host is not reliable behaviour.
Andrea and Thomas looked after our two cats in Dublin while we were away for a long weekend. Communication was great both before and during the sit, with regular photos of the cats. Our apartment was left very tidy and I would not hesitate to recommend her as a sitter.
