I loved my time with Pumpkin! He is one of the sweetest and most gentle pets that I have ever met! He is very friendly. Pumpkin started warming up to me after approximately 2 hours after my arrival and after a day together, we were best buddies! Providing care for him was so easy. I was initially concerned with how difficult it would be to clean his hutch but it was super easy as the bottom of the hutch pulls out. Emily has fantastic communication with detailed instructions that made me feel more confident with providing care for Pumpkin. This was my first time ever taking care of a bunny and her instructions made it not only easier, but also enjoyable. Emily left labels in the home to guide me and she was so prompt in responding to my messages. She was very open with expressing her gratitude for the updates and video. The area of her home is very walkable to a variety of restaurants, cafes, and even The National Mall with iconic structures such as the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, etc. Parking was restricted and a challenge to find but there are a few parking garages within walking distance. The area is loaded with a variety of transportation options from electric bikes, scooters to the metro station all within feet of leaving the apartment. If you have the opportunity to meet Pumpkin, DO NOT MISS OUT! You won't regret your stay!
Kona was an adorable pup and we loved taking care of her. She was super easy when we were at the house and she was fun and enthusiastic when we went on our walks. Andrea's house is beautiful and we were very happy there. We'd definitely sit here again!
We have just returned from the most fabulous sit. Buff was so welcoming and made us feel so at home. Pippin was extremely easy going and was very happy to come along while we explored York. Their home is really beautiful and a pleasure to stay in and the location is fantastic. We had a wonderful time in York with Pippin and really hope we are asked back one day!
Burt was super chill and easygoing. I enjoyed spending time with him whether it was having a cuddle on the couch together or playing with his toys. Caitlin was a great host. She was very accomodating and went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay! The house was cosy and in a good area that was a short walk into the shops, which had various transport options available. I would recommend Caitlin and Burt to future housesitters!!
Our stay with Porto and Kummel was a true delight. The location is beautiful, with easy access to nearby walks. Jenny's clear instructions and communication during our short stay made everything seamless. We would love to return for another stay.
A short but pleasant weekend with Helen's three cats, Pickle, Roscoe and Lori, with the added bonus of a flourishing Raspberry bush for a really tasty fruit treat! Helen collected me from Barnehurst station and briefed me thoroughly on her cats. Pickle was in regularly for meals but Lori was exceptionally shy and took time to accept my presence. Roscoe, the kitten, was playful and kept me company. It's a half hour walk to the the Crayford town center with its hypersize Sainsbury's but you'd need a car to explore the Kent countryside outside the metropolitan area and easily reachable from the London itself by frequent train services.
