Sara was great about communicating the needs for Rocky. Rocky is a very loving, cuddler that was so easy to care for. Sara's home was in a very quiet neighborhood and was a great environment should someone be working remote. This was our first housesit and I am so glad Sara chose us. We would gladly do it again should dates line up. Highly recommend Sara and Rocky!!!
Finn is the cuuutest orange cat with the most adorable chirps! Witnessing his variety of sleeping positions always put a huge smile on my face and giving him cuddles every day was such a treat. Even brushing him daily was a treat, since he absolutely loved being brushed! During the entire sit, I felt so grateful to be in the presence of such a loving animal 🥰 Gena’s communication, responsibilities listed & expectations were clear throughout the entire process, which I very much appreciated! Her intention with having my stay be a peaceful sanctuary unfolded with much joy as I immediately felt right at home. Her home is conveniently located near sooo many beautiful cafes and the beach! Walking & biking during the sunset every day was such a breath of fresh air. Gena’s neighbors were also all very sweet & welcoming, which was a lovely surprise since it’s something I haven’t experienced on a sit previously. I could go on and on about how wonderful this sit was - I highly recommend it if you get the chance to. Thank you so much for trusting me to take care of Finn, your plants & beautiful home. I look forward to sit again, whenever that aligns!

Potential sitters reading this may be thinking, “that’s a lot of animals!” Worry not, this is an easy sit. The dogs are very sweet, affectionate but not needy. The kitten (River) may warm up to you and cuddle. The other two cats we might not have known were there if they didn’t eat the food we left out and use the litter boxes. The chickens are super easy. Trinka is great with communication and left detailed and clear instructions, making the sit easy. She and her family were welcoming and pleasant. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, with groceries and whatever you need about a 4-5 minute drive. Maybe a 20-minute drive to great beaches. The house is nice (kitchen is very nice!) and the bed comfortable. With six pets in the house, you will have some shedding, so be prepared to use the broom and vacuum. I recommend this sit.
Wendy and Rory have a lovely home in a nice neighborhood. The house looks great and has everything you would need. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, but it's easy to travel to London nonetheless. The train from Kenley Station took about 45 minutes. I only saw the dogs briefly but loved them right away. The cat was a bit reserved at first, but opened up soon and came to demand cuddles from time to time. She's very cute and really easy to take care of, and I was always happy to find her sleeping on my bed when I came in. I really enjoyed my stay and can very much recommend it!

We have been very lucky to have been using Creature Comforts for about 5 years now for our 2 rabbits. They absolutely love going to stay and it is often tricky to catch them when it is time to go home! The set up is amazing, in a beautiful garden with hutch/run combos set up so the rabbits can all see each other. Caroline is lovely and extremely accommodating. She clearly cares about each and every animal she is looking after. I could not recommend this enough, I have complete peace of mind when we are away as I know how well looked after and happy the rabbits are.
Caroline at Creature Comforts is probably one of the most loveliest people I have ever met and the love and care she provides to the boarding pets is simply outstanding. I was nervous about leaving my rabbits for the first time back in May, however Caroline soon put my mind at ease and, as promised, kept me updated throughout my holiday on how they were doing. I also left them in July and I just know they were so excited to be back for their little holiday at creature comforts! I have unfortunately had to re-home my rabbits, however I have told their new owner she MUST use creature comforts boarding if she ever goes away! Caroline is absolutely crazy about animals (in a lovely way). She's taken good care of our little hamsters, always handling them daily and giving them treats. I can't imagine a better person to entrust with our pets. Totally recommended!
Our guinea pigs have been regular visitors for 5 years now and have been very well looked after every time. The many large hutches and runs in her garden appear clean and well maintained (and usually filled by regular customers) and Caroline clearly cares about the welfare of all the animals. We will continue using as long as we can.
We were so happy to find Creature Comforts to look after our two rabbits. The main thing for us was that our bunnies would have enough space, so seeing that the owners supported the Rabbit Welfare Association was important to us. The rabbits had a lovely hutch and attached run in a beautiful garden, with plenty of fresh grass, hay and greens to nibble on. The owner obviously gave our rabbits lots of attention and care while we were away. We wouldn't hesitate to use Creature Comforts again. Many thanks!
We have left our 3 bunnies in the caring and capable hands of Caroline at Creature Comforts several times in the past couple of years. (Side note: perhaps my effusive alliteration is a sign of how happy I am we found her!) Caroline feels like an old friend even on the first meeting and it is immediately clear how much she loves animals and is keen to get to know their individual personalities so she can best cater to their needs. She is happy to send WhatsApp updates and pictures on request to keep your mind at rest that your fur babies are doing ok and she is very responsive and flexible when arranging drop-off and pick-up. Our bunnies always come back revitalised after having a lovely holiday of their own! Plus the hutches are such good quality we've decided to modify our own so they are more like hers (e.g: using soft plastic coating so the hutches can stand on grass but are still digsafe). We wouldn't leave our bunnies with anyone else. I fully recommend her services to anyone! :)
Caroline is excellent and I am so thrilled to have found her. The grass runs are attached to the hutches so the bunnies can go where they please when they want to. Whenever I have been all the hutches and runs that I see are immaculate and all the rabbits are obviously very well cared for and loved. A 5* bunny hotel.
We discovered Creature Comforts small animal boarding approximately a year ago to this month and it was a huge relief for us. We have 3 rabbits who are basically like our children and we love them to bits. We had tried and tested 3 or 4 various small animal boarding places around Oxfordshire over the past 3 years but each time we left our rabbits behind our minds would fill with doubt and worry. Space was our biggest concern. Some places simply didn't have the space to have runs attached to the hutches at all, some didn't have the 6ft x 6ft hutches that the RWAF recommend as standard practice, and some just had hutches stacked on top of hutches and the rabbits had to wait to be lifted down to a run to exercise and stretch their legs. Location was also a key factor for us because we never felt comfortable leaving the bunnies in the back garden of a big housing estate or near to a main road. Our oldest female bun suffered an injury at one boarding place and as soon as we had returned from holiday we had to take her to the vets for treatment. We felt terrible for her and frustrated not to have been notified. We faced a dilemma but as luck would have it we eventually stumbled upon Creature Comforts' beautiful website and saw that it was approved by the RWAF. In excitement we contacted Caroline straight away and within days we were able to visit and see the place for ourselves. Creature Comforts is set in beautiful surroundings and provides a wonderful safe sanctuary for rabbits and small animals who are provided with ample space to run, jump and binky as they should and be cared for by someone who understands their dietary and physical needs.
Caroline is the most kind and caring person you could ask to care for your pet. For the last three years Caroline has provided excellent care for our pet dog Rooi; she walks him in the week for us and has provided numerous pet sitting visits. Caroline is reliable, trustworthy and has excellent knowledge about caring for pets. She goes above and beyond and treats Rooi as part of her own family. We know he’s in safe hands and don’t know what we would do without her. Thank you Caroline.
We had a one to one training session with Patty to get some tips on how to help us build the confidence of our rehome Westie at our home. It was incredible to see how our little one responded to Patty almost instantly. It was a full on session packed with really useful training tips and information about dog behaviour. Patty certainly knows her stuff and is patient and persistent! We would really recommend one of these sessions to focus on specific needs. It really helped us understand our girl and know what is best so we can help her become a happy, outgoing dog.
Patty at Canine Paradise is just wonderful - she had such a great way with all the pups in our class. Our pup loved the training classes and together we learnt so much. I definitely recommend Patty and I'm hoping we can get booked onto the intermediate classes. I stumbled across Canine Paradise while searching online and I was thrilled when we managed to get a place in a class. Definitely worth the time and money and the learning you gain is so valuable and you just keep using the knowledge again and again.
When we first started with Patty at Canine Paradise we hadn't had a dog for many years and we had a rescue of a breed we were unfamiliar with. Patty was very calm, patient and supportive and gave us many ideas how to proceed with our lovely boy. Her trick of course is that she really was training us as much as him. Her love of dogs is obvious and she is very knowledgeable about many breeds and can advise how to deal with general as well as specific issues. We would highly recommend her for your puppy or older dog training.
Have been to several classes with our growing puppy, all of them brilliant for socialisation, training and reassurance about how to handle her! Patty is a fantastic trainer who dogs absolutely love (and respect) and has demonstrates & explains everything in a simple and enthusiastic way. Just as much fun for owners as for dogs! We are much more confident now having worked with Patty and seen what we're doing right & wrong.
We’ve just done the puppy class and now progressed to basic obedience class. Patty makes it such fun and the dogs love her, as well as us both learning. She also gives her time freely to help with any other problems that may arise. She has been an absolute star helping me to integrate my old Jack Russell with the pup. My husband and I have now attended 3 puppy training classes with Patty and are absolutely delighted with the progress that we, and our puppy, have made. Patty explains and demonstrates each activity very well. It has made us realise how important it is to train the owners first to be able to work towards having an obedient, socially acceptable dog.
Gave up with the basic obedience classes due to last minute changes of venue, days and times. Several of them were cancelled due to weather and patty having other commitments at the time the classes were due to take place

Canine paradise has been wonderful for training our slightly crazy cocker/lab cross Pippa. Patty has taken the time to help us from day 1, and has always been on call for any issues we have encountered. The result? One exceedingly well behaved 18 month old puppy whom we constantly get amazing compliments for her behaviour and obedience. Considering she was our first dog and we had no clue to start with, I consider this all down to Patty. We have gained so much confidence, that we have taken on a second puppy, a Bernese/lab cross, who of course, is going through the same Journey with us and Patty. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
Patty from Canine Paradise is brilliant. The training sessions have really helped us ensure we have a well behaved sociable dog. Patty keeps the sessions both fun and interesting and we go as a whole family so the kids are learning how to handle and look after our dog too. I would highly recommend these sessions and we plan to continue with them all the way to gold standard as they are great for all of us.
The most caring and trustworthy lady, Teresa is consistent and thorough, she enquires about medications, animal preferences, sends photos, I just cant thank her enough for her care and my peace of mind. I don’t know what I’d do without Teresa to look after my dog as it allows me the freedom to go away with my children and focus on them, while knowing Bongo is having an amazing time himself. Bongo starts whining with excitement to see Teresa as soon as we get a few roads away from her house snd he works out where he is going. Bongo’s behaviour has improved since he has been going to Teresa as he has learned better boundaries (sleeping downstairs by himself) and socialising with other dogs and learning to share. When I pick up my dog I can tell he is loved as Teresa and her partner tell me all the funny things he has done which I love myself. I could not recommend 4 Paws highly enough - they are like grandparents for my dog! From Kirsten

I can't praise Reiki Peace enough. Our German Shepherd absolutely loved having Reiki and as she got older it almost seemed to give her a new lease of life. She certainly had moments where she thought she was a puppy! Thank you Reiki Peace x

Our dog appears to love it here. We were quite nervous about kennels at first but she now goes regularly. Much less stressful than finding a dog sitter and relying on 1 person. All the staff seem lovely as well
1st time using. When we arrived I asked to see where he was staying as was told this was fine (dog) but told that I couldn't even though I was told via email that they have a open door policy. Collected dog and he had dried dog poo all over back legs and in his bum. Think a little wipe wouldnt have gone a miss with some water and blue towel

Denise and her team have looked after our cats and dogs for years and they are really wonderful. You can tell that they really care about the animals (my Cockapoo will often come home having been given a bath for example) and they are also very well organised.
We were visiting friends locally at short notice and our usual kennels at home was full. Happily BBKC had a place for our dog. We will certainly use again next time we visit without hesitation. The organisation is outstanding, the setting absolutely stunning, staff are wonderful and they care for your dog like their own. I always get anxious leaving him but I felt he was very safe and happy there. Thank you all - you are doing an amazing job! (Useful to note - cash is preferred! Also they have an impressive traffic light system for the single track road so you may have to wait a short while to enter)
This place came highly recommended by someone in work and I couldn't agree more. My boy was well and truly looked after and he seemed very happy when we picked him up. Other places he's been to I normally have to bath him and wash his stuff but he came back nice and clean. And he normally loose a lot of weight but he came back fine. Definitely be putting my boy here again.

I cannot sing this boarding facility praises enough! They are absolutely remarkable.They are simply angels. Some people are born to take care animals. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that my German Shepard Maximus was well taken care for a month and worked with me on any concerns I had with my pet. The owner Denise is just fabulous and outstanding. Her staff is equally amazing and so loving and kind. I would recommend this facility 1000x over! It is safe and clean and overall a beautiful boarding service. Thank you so much for all that you guys have done for my pet, we are beyond happy and ecstatic.
We will not be taking our dog there as we felt quite unwelcome and sensed that they did not want our dog to stay while we were away for the first time ever.
We have a 6 month old American bulldog cross that we were hoping to board here in October. I emailed and asked for the rates and availability, I was asked what breed he was and I replied american bulldog cross. I was told we don't board american bulldogs. I replied stating he was a cross breed. I understand that kennels have the right to say what they allow into their kennels but don't advertise all across your website that all breeds are accepted, as they aren't. Very misleading and they didn't bother to reply to my last email

Debs&Jack have been playing a crucial part in our nervous reactive dog’s training and socialisation. Debs understands really well our doggy’s training need and gives us feedback on his behaviour. She is also very considerate and starts the walks early or late to make sure the doggies don’t get too hot or too wet depending on the weather. Can strongly recommend her services!
Debs and Jack go out of their way to ensure that your pooch is thoroughly looked after. Our spaniel has been going out on walks since he was a puppy and he always has the best of time. Debs is always so flexible and happy to accommodate any last minute requests which is so handy as our work schedules can change. Our dog used to have separation anxiety, but with the help of Debs, he comes back from his walks satisfied and content and now sleeps peacefully until we return home. Through her support, we can now leave our dog on his own- truly life changing! Debs is always conscious of each dog's wellbeing and will come out earlier if the weather is hot. Debs and Jack have been such a wonderful help for Jerry, who now loves going out with her and he always looks like he's having a blast when we get photos. Debs is always on the ball with her communication and makes special arrangements when the weather is not good for the dogs, like coming earlier when it is too hot. Debs is always punctual and efficient when collecting and dropping Jerry off at home. I think this is a wonderful service and can recommend putting your trust in Jack and His Pals.

Debs is brilliant! My little black lab, Betty, has known her since she was only two months old and loves being with her. Her tail wags like crazy when she knows she's off to spend the day with Debs, and her doggy chums. Debs is really capable and I know how important it is to her that she keeps her clients happy - all her four-legged charges are looked after to the highest standard and she confidently looks after her pack along with her lovely dog, Jack, day after day. I know Betty is as important to Debs as she is to me. I absolutely recommend and trust her.
I knew I would really like Debs from my first email contact with her. She is a really positive person, kind, reliable and Rosie loves her. She has looked after Rosie since she was just a pup. Her initial assessment meeting was really thorough and she has provided us with regular feedback on how Rosie is doing, along with some lovely photos. Rosie loves being with Jack Jack and the other dogs, this socialisation has been really good for her. I would happily recommend Debs to anyone.
Debs is an absolute super-star and hands down the most reliable, kind, experienced dog walker we have ever encountered. She's been regularly walking our Nellie for just over a year and has on several occasions boarded her while we've been away. Nellie has never been happier and we feel complete confidence leaving her in Debs' care. What's particularly amazing about Debs is that she's so flexible and has accommodated our last-minute scheduling requests with grace. We absolutely love Debs and wouldn't know what to do without her!

We’ve just had a 5 star stay at Portway Cattery Meowmy bought us new carpets so she booked us in for a holiday as they can be very noisy. We had a lovely time and spent some time talking to other guests from our patio. We had a beautiful luxury suite with lovely views. Concierge Chico (fluffy ginger) and Ronnie (ginger) were very hospitable and were very good at looking after us. Emily made sure that Tiggy got all her medication for her leg. We would strongly recommend them to any of our Furfriends and to check them out for their holiday needs. We also have it on good authority that they do beautiful fur dressing (our step sister Rosie goes there for her beauty needs). This was our cat's first time in a cattery and he couldn't have been in better hands. The communication from start to finish was excellent, and the team was super friendly and helpful and gave us updates whilst we were away. We'd definitely recommend them and will be using them again!

I have been using this cattery for 3 years now. I would not go anywhere else. My cats are happy there and can stay together. The groomer Carol is excellent. My cat, who had been silent and wanted to be alone, was in pain with tangles and is now so happy to hop up for a stroke and purrs!! Such lovely staff. Thank you.

I was greeted by the owners cat when I got out of the cat. He marked me and showed me to reception! 🐈 I’m so glad I found Portway Cattery on Google. They were incredible with George. He was groomed and was handled with love and care. His coat is now unmatted, clean and I was told George enjoyed his pamper! The work they do for Cherwell cats Protection charity is outstanding too. I requested a full groom for a cat I am currently fostering. Carol was absolutely brilliant! She came to collect the cat as I don't have a car, and was instantly great with the cat including showing me a fool proof way of getting her into the carrier! She returned with a very happy cat who looked (and smelled!) as though she'd just been to the spa! No signs of stress upon her return, she's as happy as every and looks fantastic. I was nervous as the cat is a foster cat and never had a groom before, but I needn't have been. Such a great service, I highly recommend.
I had a great experience with Portway Cattery when I took my long haired girl in for a de-mat this week. My partner and I tried everything at home to remove her mats with grooming tools, but with no success. I have no idea how she managed it, but Carol managed to get all the trickiest mats off and for a very reasonable price. I’ve already noticed a difference in my cat. She seems happier being petted now, and I am sure this is thanks to her being far more comfortable without those horrible mats. Highly recommend.
Absolutely brilliant service. Our long haired cat who doesn’t like most people had a few knots that we couldn’t get out due to her being shy. I called the cattery and they were more than helpful and happy to take a look at our cat and see what they could do. Millie (the cat) came back looking absolutely fabulous, not a single knot on her and she smelt absolutely gorgeous and they were so good with her considering she doesn’t like most people. This is something we would definitely do again and we cannot recommend this cattery highly enough.
