Cat Sitters in Barker Heights, NC

She came a day early to get situated and meet our dog Lucca. While we were away, she texted us daily with notes and pics of Lucca. Totally clean house when we returned!! A++

Addie was so wonderful! She administered June’s monthly, meds & even took her for her check up at the Vet. And they went everywhere together! She & June fell in love. What more could I ask for?

Lori was great with my pup Lucy! She genuinely loved on her as obvious from the many sweet photos of the two of them, or of Lucy splashing happily in the marsh pools, or getting a rub down in her post-beach rinse and towel treatment. During the 2 weeks she cared for Lucy, I received many updates on her general well-being,. I very much appreciated that Lori was very responsive to Lucy's sensitive digestive system and adjusted her diet appropriately. She also took great care of the house and left it in great condition. Both Lucy and I hope that she can visit with us again!

I couldn't have asked for a better person to look after my dog, my plants and the house. Mike has excellent communication skills and gave me frequent updates and photos which made my trip that much more enjoyable, knowing everything was OK at home. He gave Smoky lots of exercise, love and attention and I think the health of my plants improved under Mike's care. He was considerate of my privacy and left the house cleaner than he found it. Mike is a caring, sincere person and I hope he will come back and care for Smoky when I travel in the future.

Crystal is a very sweet and kind person and I liked her a lot when she came in to meet Zazu and I. I could see straight away that Zazu liked her and For me the most important thing on these sits is that Zazu is safe and happy and that my flat is well taken care off. And Crystal did that. This being said, there’s a few points I’d like to mention. As she knows, there was a bit of miscommunication on the check in day which meant Crystal arrived later than I had wanted and Zazu was alone longer than I wished, so I take the lesson to be more clear about it in next sits. I also wouldn’t have minded if Crystal had sent me more updates (like once a day) but I didn’t feel too good asking for it as I didn’t want to disturb her. Also, one day Crystal locked herself out with Zazu and luckily my neighbours were around and had a spare key, but very often they are not and that would have been a stressful time for Crystal to resolve it as during Christmas time I didn’t have anyone around with a spare key set. Finally, something that bothered me a little bit was that when I got home Zazu’s water bowl was totally empty, and of course that’s a big issue for me and it made me wonder how long it had been empty for. I am sure it was just an innocent slip mistake but quite an important one to not happen again. Overall, Crystal was a lovely person but I did wish all these little hiccups wouldn’t have happened.

Amy stayed with my Banjo and took such great care for him while i was gone. I highly recommend Amy to anyone that is looking for a house-sitter!

Karena was an amazing sitter for our cats and chickens. She seamlessly took over care from another sitter and we were happy to return to a spotless house and happy animals. She even went above and beyond, caring for a little chick that was born sick while we were away. Anyone would be lucky to have her come and care for their pets!

I'm very new to TH, Lisa was my first sitter and I could not have been more pleased. My learning curve with TH was a little steep and she was very patient as I bumbled my way around. I appreciated her clear communications both before and during my time away, especially pics of the furry ones snuggling with her. Happily we overlapped on my return and her departure, a bonus to meet face-to-face. Coming back home it was very clear that the dogs and cat had enjoyed LOTS of TLC, and I suspect they were sad to see her go. 5 stars across the board and needless to say Lisa has set the bar quite high. I highly can highly recommend her 🧡

Ali and Brad were Awesome! My dogs were so loved and well cared for they were very upset to see them go! Ali was extremely helpful and accommodating, especially when my travels extended from April 8th to the 24th. Brad had to return home but Ali stayed the extra weeks, totally self sufficient and can handle anything that comes up. She outfitted her travel van herself and is super handy! She kept the house in perfect condition. It was as neat and clean, as I left it. Great communicator and followed all the instructions for one of my pups who has a rare disease. I felt totally confident leaving him in her care.They sent me great photos every day and were such a pleasure to have stay at our house! I would rate Ali at the top of my list as a super sitter and hope she can sit again in the future.

Amanda and Zane were wonderful sitters for our dogs. They kept us updated throughout our trip and we came home to extremely happy dogs. They left the house clean and as if they were never here, which was great to come home to. We would love to have them again and I know the dogs enjoyed their company as well.

I had the pleasure of meeting both people, but only Gabe was at my house sit (I knew from the beginning)  This couple was incredibly kind and attentive . They asked great questions and even came and visited after they videoed before. And they clearly cared about animals. :) With the stay, Gabe was absolutely brilliant from the beginning. His communication was perfect. He gave me a little update every day and made me feel totally assured and at peace during my entire stay. Even though I told him he didn’t have to, he took my kitty on walks pretty much every day. I can also tell that the amount of food he fed my cat was exactly correct. When I returned home, I think the apartment was probably cleaner that I left it. The litter with scooped, and the water was full. My kitty had food. And he was excited to see me, but he seemed very well taken care of and happy. I would 100% recommend either one of these lovely humans to watch and care for your for babies. They are loving and gentle, communicate well, respectful, and brilliant.
