It was an absolute pleasure taking care of Barbara for 6 weeks. Ingmar and Alena were so welcoming, hospitable, and clear to communicate with. Their apartment is cozy, comfortable, and in a very safe location that is a 10 minute bike ride from the beach! I greatly appreciate that they let me use their bike, as it is very easy and convenient to bike in the area. Their home is in a quiet spot which is great for daily walks with their dog. Barbara is so good and easy to take care for. I loved taking Barbara to the beach and you can tell just how much he loved fetching the ball in the water. Barbara is the smartest dog I've gotten to know and he is so well behaved, so it made me feel comfortable bringing him to a variety of different places. He is obedient, knows many tricks, and has a good recall. I especially enjoyed my hikes with him since Barbara never went off too far and was easy to recall if he did. Barbara is also the most friendliest dog that I've gotten to know. He makes friends with humans and dogs so easily and brings joy with him wherever he goes. Barbara is such a good dog all around. I appreciated this opportunity very much and I would happily come back again to spend time with Barbara. I highly recommend this sit!
It was a pleasant week with fluffy neighbors Sulis and Tatters ^_^ They are very calm and we are glad that we have had the opportunity to take care of them. DevaLaya is a very nice and friendly person. Her guide book is very helpful. There are all instructions and also advice about transport, cafe and surroundings. Also there are some reminders in the house if you forget something.
Kevin is so kind and welcoming, his apartment and cats are absolutely gorgeous - I would highly recommend sitting here! It was a very comfortable stay in a great location, and Karma is the most cuddly, affectionate kitty I have ever met (Sweetpea and Sebastian are lovely too). Thanks for having me Kevin, it was a great experience.
Meghan and Matt are incredibly easy going people and a pleasure to communicate with. Meghan provided detailed and entertaining written directions for the house sit which made for a comfortable stay. Their apartment was clean, really hip/creatively decorated, and in a great location - close to the subway, parks, and some really cute restaurants. Their furbabies were adorable, super sweet, and friendly... especially around feeding time :) We had a great time hanging out with the gang and still talk about how much we miss them! Would sit for them again anytime!
Loved spending time with Juniper and Gunther. Juniper was pretty much happy doing anything--whether it be lying on the couch, playing with his toys, or going on walks. Gunther was a little more shy but definitely enjoyed some attention throughout the day. Kelsey and Jim were also very welcoming and kind. Also loved the location in a quiet neighborhood that's close to restaurants, groceries, and more.
