Dog Sitters in Barley

Sandra was a lovely cat sitter, that helped with our two cats for an extended stay. We appreciated her tidiness and help around the house whilst we were away. Would warmly welcome Sandra back for a future stay in our home.

The amazing Beth came yet again for the 7th time to take care of my persians. I honestly bless the day I first met her two years ago!! As always she was in total control with everything, including taking Lulu to the vet and also going beyond her petsitting duties to help me out. All this with a wide smile and a super positive attitude! Thank you Beth and see you soon!

Francesca and Jonathan were fantastic! Given their proximity they came to visit us and the cats before we went away to ensure the cats were comfortable around them. This allowed us an opportunity to walk them through the house and routine which amazing and a first for us. The house was immaculate when we returned home and the cats were so relaxed. We were also blessed with a lovely little gift from Francesca and Jonathan which was so generous. 10/10 sitters - we highly recommend.

This was our first time using Trusted Housitters and we certainly won't look back after such a positive experience. We first met Nicholas online and immediately felt very comfortable about having him come to look after Willow and our house. We felt even better when Nick turned up and Willow immediately took to him, and has enjoyed staying at home with someone who clearly loves dogs. It was also great to know that our house was going to be well looked after and Nick left it very clean and tidy. We wouldn't hesitate to ask Nick back and highly recommend him as a great house and dog sitter

Nat was a little nervous about sitting for us having had a difficult previous experience and therefore needed some support upfront to feel comfortable. Having invested a bit of time in this, the sit went really well - Nat sent us photos and messages while we were away which we all enjoyed, our dog was well looked after and very well and happy on our return. The house was clean and tidy too. Thanks Nat!

It was an absolute joy to have Louise and Steve looking after our home and our three pets (one dog, two cats). It was clear from the reviews that we were lucky to have them, and that expectation was born out completely. Louise and Steve are wonderfully warm and thoughtful, and genuinely love animals - all our pets seemed to take to them immediately and have a much nicer time with them than they usually do with us! The process was seamless and reassuring from the very beginning. Communication was exceptional throughout, and we loved receiving videos and photos of the animals enjoying themselves. The house was spotless on our return, and we were lucky enough to have a delicious tart ready for dinner and a fridge with milk for coffee the next day! I really can't emphasise enough how good this experience was.

Deborah and Mark are among the best pet sitters we’ve ever had. They are lovely people, well-organised, and attentive throughout the sit. We returned to a spotless house and a happy cat. They even asked if they could do some weeding while we were away! Would have them back here in a heartbeat and one of the few we would very much like to stay in contact with.

Elise was fabulous. Both Stan and Boris were very well taken care of. Good communication from Elise during the short sit. The house was left immaculate with sheets and towels washed and drying. We’d totally recommend Elise.

Jill and Alan have just completed a short sit for us - just a couple of days but they immediately took to the dogs as did the dogs to them. We came home to find the dogs calm and relaxed and the house was clean and tidy. It was lovely to meet them the night before we left and they spent time getting to know the dogs and the house. They asked lots of questions so they could make sure the dogs kept to their routine. They were able to have a couple of trips out too so they could enjoy the area while in Kent. A very successful sit all round - thank you both!

We can highly recommend Nigel and Vicki. Lovely people, very friendly and great with Zuka. They sent us lovely pictures of Zuka having lots of different adventures with them and he seemed happy and relaxed in their care. They left our home clean and tidy and looked after the plants in the garden very well too. We would love to have them back and hope they enjoyed their Somerset holiday.

Angie and Miguel looked after our parrots and tortoise for 10 days in August/September. We invited them around to meet us and the animals a few days before the sit so we could talk them through pet care and show them around the house. They immediately seemed like lovely people and asked all the right questions about each of our animals which immediately gave us confidence that they would be great with our pets.

Martine clearly has a way with cats as Dotty loved her from the start. By the time we had finished our handover and left the house Dotty was happily settled on Martine’s lap being given loads of affection. Martine did a good job looking after the hens too. I hope Martine would consider sitting for us again
