We had a great time at Chloe's home. The evening before the house sit we were warmly welcomed and everything was shown and explained to us. If we forgot something, all the important information was summarized on paper. We were even cooked a very tasty dinner so we could get to know each other a little better. Henry and Billy are two lovely seniors who make everyday life very easy. Most of the time they sleep; You only feel their positive excitement when it comes to eating and being petted. Pusscat is also super easy to get along with and uncomplicated. He sleeps most of the time, but sometimes he lies down with us in the living room and relaxes. We were able to contact Chloe at any time. Communication went extremely smoothly. The house offers everything you can imagine. It's big, cozy and surrounded by nature. We felt more than comfortable here. Great recommendation for all future sitters.
Miriam and Piers are friendly and welcoming people, which allowed us to feel comfortable at their place from the beginning. Miriam even cooked a delicious dinner for us. They were going on holiday the next morning, so we had enough time to discuss everything we needed to know. They also wrote the instructions down for us very detailed, which was a good additional help in case we forgot anything. After our arrival we went for a walk together and Miriam showed us all the wonderful paths we could choose from when walking the dogs. It's such a beautiful and peaceful place. The two dogs are so lovely, there's no way to describe how adorable they are, and we already miss them. Miami the cat seems to prefer being by herself instead of cuddling, but she was a sweet company, often roaming around or sleeping in the living room. They were all totally easy. Apart from the dogs and the cat, watching the ducks always made us smile as well. They make the place even better. There's also a huge, wonderful garden with loads of veggies and it's great for playing with the dogs. The house is lovely house and has an Aga in the living-kitchen, making the room warm and comfy. They got us some groceries we could use and even asked about our diet, which we do not take for granted and were very delighted about. It was a beautiful experience. Thank you so much!
Kim and Simon welcomed me warmly when I arrived. I joined them for a meal that evening as I was staying the night prior to them leaving the next morning. Kim kindly showed me where to walk their dog Arlo who was very easy to look after. He was calm, biddable and affectionate. The house is very comfortable and in a quiet area on the South side of Edinburgh. The house is just a few minutes walk from the bus stop where you have a great choice of buses to take you into the city centre. I would highly recommend this sit.
I am delighted to recommend this housesit and lovely animals with pleasure. The dogs have quite distinct and charming personalities, Monty is warm and sensitive, Chevy is young and adventurous and Subaru is cool but very sweet. The cat is also adorable. Risa is a wonderful host and her home and neighbourhood is amazing with lovely trails, beach walks and plenty of versatility for walks. She was very welcoming and made me feel at home and the animals were very affectionate companions. I am sure that any sitter will feel at home and enjoy the company of the dogs and cat. Thank you Risa for an amazing stay!
Communication was easy and friendly. Carlos and Roger were easy and fun to care for. Roger really cracked me up! He has a very playful, fun, and social attitude. The home was really clean and in a quiet neighborhood. It is close enough to anything you would need (by car). The galloping goose trail is very close and enjoyable to walk along. This was a great sit. I would return and I recommend it others :).
Emma’s place is so cosy & warm. The bed is super comfortable. Saffron Walden is a lovely little town with good cafes, parks & beautiful streets. The supermarket is an easy 5 minutes walk away. I really enjoyed visiting Audley End House & Gardens (only 15 minutes walk from Emma’s house). You could easily spend a whole day wandering around there. Rusty is a lovely dog. He is full of energy & loves cuddles, playing ball & going on walks. He kept me busy during my stay but we had a great time together. He has good recall when off lead & walks well on lead too.
