Chris and Christy were friendly, enthusiastic, and loving to our pets. Our home was clean upon our return.

We had a great experience with a Travis and Shannon and would invite them back anytime!

They were flexible when we changed our dates.

They know how to treat and get along with our high-energy dogs. They immediately knew how to engage in a way that our dogs enjoyed and responded to.

Travis and Shannon were responsive before and during the sit. If I had a question, they got back right away.

The house was left spotless, cleaner than we left it.

We highly recommend Travis and Shannon to everyone on this site.

This review is very long overdue!.... Stephanie and Brian were exceptional guests and care-takers of our cat, dog and home. We can't say enough good things about them!!! Everything you read in Stephanie's profile and in other reviews is true with a big + sign after! We can't wait for the opportunity to have them back.

Slue
Slue has a great home with a beautiful and relaxing backyard. Her home is spotless and in a great quiet neighborhood near trails/river/lake and eagle watching. Slue communicated very well from the beginning and was understanding about the THS COVID guidelines to not meet in person. Asya is a such a lovable and sassy kitty! We fell in love with her immediately and miss her already! She loved being near us and watched Netflix and cuddled with us. She is an incredibly good house companion and has several different voices/moods to let us know how she feels (hungry, attention, left alone, hurry up and feed me faster, etc.) which kept us very entertained. We really got used to her and it was hard to say goodbye/see you later. We recommend this sit to anyone and would love to see Asya again and meet Slue. Thank you, Slue and Asya for hosting us in your beautiful home.

Connie
Sitting for Connie and Ruthie was very nice and relaxing. She has a TV and is nearby a mall and several restaurants. Ruthie is particular and she needs a lot of care and patience and understanding from her sitter. She has extreme anxiety and will be skittish the entire sit. Even Ms. Connie says it took a year before she felt comfortable enough to play with her toys around her. I will leave tips on how I interacted with Ruthie. She will most likely sit on the couch in her favorite spot all day. The only time she will get up will be to go to the other room where her bed is. She needs patience as she has been through some bad things. So I let her go back and forth until she feels comfortable. Once she's on the couch I put a blanket on her and her favorite little toys beside her and pat her on the head and then go sit in the chair. I recommend being calm and talking softly. She won't eat or drink on her own so what I did was get her water bowl and put it on the couch with her and walk into the kitchen so she doesn't see me. Then she will drink. After a few minutes I go get water bowl and then for the food I do the same thing. I would put her food in a bowl and heat it up for a few seconds. Then go put it before her paws where she is sitting and then leave and go back into the kitchen. She won't eat until she can't see you. Then wait a few minutes until she's done and go get the food bowl. Then I put her blanket on and pat her on the head and give her her toys. She's here scared outside on her walks and likes to pull but I found it I keep her leash short where her head isn't able to touch the ground she doesn't pull as much. She gets nervous going in and out of doors so I just calmly wait, open the door and let her go first. She may back up or try to turn around but just be calm and lead her where she needs to go. She gets nervous seeing other people or dogs on her walk so avoid them if you can or wait for them to pass. She's a really sweet dog she just needs special care and patience. The best sitter for her would be someone understanding who would not get frustrated in any way and just be calm and loving towards her. I enjoyed my time there and with sit for them again. 🌻🖤
