It was a privilege to stay in their lovely home with Jarvis and Maurice. It is a beautiful family home with stunning views. Jarvis was very easy to look after and we miss him very much. He loves his walks and it was a pleasure to take him. The local country parks are perfect for dogs and also just for the pleasure of walking. We were very comfortable and enjoyed every minute. It was an absolute pleasure.
We stayed at Andrea’s lovely apartment for several weeks and had a great time. Marshmallow and Tiger were delightful company! We used public transport the entire time and found it very convenient and easy to get around. There are several supermarkets, as well as the lake and main train station, direct on the tram route into the city centre and trams leave around every 10-15 minutes. There are stunning forest walking trails all around the property and an athletics / exercise park within a few minutes walk. We’d love to be back and highly recommend this property. We had the luckiest opportunity to met Ottis and Sam, two adorable dogs that shared with us a couple of days. Definitely they are very special, so funnies, smarts and cute even very sentimental, that give an adorably touch to this two amazing pets. We laughed a lot with these amazing pets, normally their are very quite, sleep almost all the day, but when you want get out they have an amazing energy that make you enjoy the time that you spend outside. Sara and Will were very kind, warm and interesting couple that let us take their house like our house. They were always there for us if we need anything about the house or their dogs. They make our stay very easy because all the important and interesting things about the house, the dogs, the place to be around, the activities, etc., were well described in a manual. The zone where they live is amazing, with the beaches, the dunes, the woods around. We didn’t have the time to know everything but it’s an great place to be outside and enjoy the nature. Definitely we loved to be with their dogs, in their house and met new places. Thank you guys
Taking care of Billy was such great pleasure for us. He's a lovely dog. Sweet, well trained, an absolute cuddler, always up for playing, and when it's time, getting a nap close to you in the most heart-melting way possible. Lucie and Ben are fantastic. Communication has been great beforehand and throughout the sit. They have been very kind and available with us. Their house is a beautiful place, very well equipped for remote working, located in a quite area, with good connections to the heart of the City.
I've had such a wonderful time at Sarah's home, as my first experience with Trusted Housesitters I really couldn't have wished for anything better! Sarah was extremely welcoming, kind and caring, she made me feel trusted and happy to have me looking after her house and pets. I was given accurate instructions and had many contacts in case of emergencies, I always felt very safe. Willow and Tosca are just an immense pleasure to be around, I had the best walks in the forest with Willow, who never gets tired to be exploring! Thank you Sarah, I hope I'll be able to come back:)
Jenna and Brittany were a breeze to sit for! Jack was super well behaved, always down for a walk or to hit a nearby trail, will remind you to take breaks if you're working, and likes to burrow under comforters after you've warmed them up. Booth was also friendly and warms up slowly. Easy to take care of, and pretty quiet, and self-sufficient. Jenna and Brittany also provided a spacious comfy guest room and are great communicators leading up to the sit.

My wife and I were feeling hopeless when it came to boarding our mini Goldendoodle. This review is long over-due. Holly has been caring for our 4 animals (2 cats and 2 dogs) for quite a while now, and she has been absolutely stellar! She is very communicative and very compassionate in the care of our animals. Pricing is fair. Two of our animals have medical issues and one of our dogs in particular has some mobility issues. Holly is always attentive and ensures our pup gets to play without pushing herself too far (she would play fetch all day if she could). When Holly cares for your animals, you can tell she really treats them like family. I would recommend her 100%. Thank you Holly for all you do for our family! PS: She takes some pretty great photos!
We always feel comfortable having Holly watch our two cats while we're away! Holly is responsive, lets us know if there are any issues, and sends the cutest daily photo updates. She goes above and beyond to make sure they feel loved (and we're updated) while we are away!
We left our pet rabbit with Holly for a week. I knew right away that she was in good hands. Holly carefully went over all the instructions with us before we said good bye and made sure our little bunny had a comfortable set up. Then, amazingly, we got wonderful photos and updates throughout the week. Everyone was having a good time together. We were so grateful to have found Holly to share their home and attention with our little friend. Holly is really special.

Holly provided care for our two cats for a week. I could tell by the cute pictures she sent each day that the cats were very comfortable with her. She even took care of an ant evasion we had, putting out ant traps we had to keep the pests away from the cat food! She always replied promptly to texts we sent while away. I will definitely use her services again.
Holly has taken care of my kitty a couple times now and has done such a good job. She checks on my girl reliably and sends me photo updates everyday so I feel reassured that everything is ok back home. Vacations are so much more relaxing when I know my fur baby is being looked after. I highly recommend Holly!
Holly has been incredible with our 1+ yo dog, Maggie. Maggie is full of energy and love and needs a lot of attention and play. Holly expertly guides Maggie through her days and always sends us lots of great photos to put our minds at ease. She has been very flexible to meet Maggie’s needs and our busy schedule. Her toddler is great around dogs, just like her mom!

We took our dogs for an "evaluation" before we boarded them. To see if they "passed", they told us that our German Shepard totally "shut down" when she was with other females. Didn't even try putting her with males. So they (two Chihuahuas had other issues" They never once suggested that the get German Shepherd should not be near our beloved and therapy dog Morgan. Who was obviously a female....I told them that the German Shepherd and Morgan can't be together. They claimed they were dog professionals...the very next day, our German Shepherd killed our precious Morgan, in 8 seconds....thanks....

My dog came home happy and exhausted after his first weekend. Just Like Home cares, is fun for my dog and reasonably priced for me.
They do no offer the services that are advertised on their website, where clear sizes and descriptions are printed. When I brought this up, the reply was "No, Thank You" and hung up, not offering any explanation. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

My fur child is so incredibly happy the second we pull into the parking lot!!! The staff are welcoming, warm and engaging. I was just using this service as a fill in activity for travel but my little buddy can not live without the Scooby crew on a regular schedule. Can not say enough about how fabulous this has been! Nyxie loves her plays and stays at Scooby Shack. She's made some good buddies (dogs and humans!), and she "sings" all the way to the Scooby Shack once she knows we're headed that way. The staff takes such good care of our girl. When she stays there, the staff is happy to give updates and pictures. (We know Nyxie is having a ball so this is really to make her parents feel better.) Thank you Scooby Shack for taking such great care of our girl!
Extremely disappointed with this place. We used to bring our dog here exclusively for grooming and daycare but never again. We brought our dog in to get groomed after several years of grooming here and only when I went to pay was I told that the prices increased, over $100 MORE! We'd always brought our dog in the morning to play with the other dogs and then his grooming appointment would be in the afternoon. We've done this for years and not once have they charged us for day care when bringing him in the morning If we also got him groomed. It was only when I came to pick him up that they told me they increased their prices for grooming and charged me for the morning. I understand raising prices as needed but this was a very dishonest way to go about that. They should have let their customers know before they leave their dogs there that they increased their prices by so much instead of waiting until after the service is over. Not to mention the groomer did not even trim some areas we'd requested like around his booty so now I have to do it myself. We will never be coming back and will be telling our friends and family who also go there about this experience.
I'm so excited, Scooby Shack has a new groomer (Hannah), and she is fantastic. I have a Yorkshire Terrier and a Bernese Mountain Dog and I've been through more than my fair share of not so good grooming experiences. Leah really listened to me and did exactly what I asked her to. My dogs look great, and you can tell she really enjoys grooming dogs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!
I’ve posted before and after pictures of our mini Aussiepoo. As you can see, he had a full head of cute, curly hair that the groomer at Scooby Shack has managed to shave off haphazardly twice. When we picked him up this time, we were in tears; she’d cut his whiskers off, shaved his entire body and only left his ears and tail alone. She said it was because we didn’t brush him enough, but we brushed him every day. I am so disappointed and upset by this groomer. How can you work with animals and do this to them? Do not take your dog to this woman, she clearly doesn’t care about the work she is doing or how her customers feel.
I have taken my dogs to Scooby Shack since 2011. Trulli loves going to Scooby Shack so she can play with her doggie friends and with Todd. I am very happy with the care Trulli receives and have no reservations taking her for daycare and boarding Trulli at Scooby Shack.
Very impressed with this daycare and boarding facility . Very clean and communication is topnotch. They Have staff with the pups at all times -24 hrs. Experienced staff watching and they understand animal behavior. As I’m Watching pups come and go-The pups are so happy waggin their tails , hopping on their feet -such a sight to see. That tells me they had a good time. What great way to socialize a pup in a pack environment. 🤩 They even have a cat condo. Super Clean and have wall climbing area for them. I got to see a cat scratching on a post didn’t even seem scared. Relaxed and strutting his stuff across the room. 🤩

Betsy and Amelia with Bowser’s Best Buddy are a cut above the rest. I see how much genuine love and care they show my pup, while offering positive and consistent training. My dog Otis attends their day program and has truly blossomed, from an excitable 1 year old adolescent to a well rounded, friendly, obedient member of their pack. Betsy has offered such valuable recommendations on how I could continue the training approach at home to keep advancing his knowledge. I found Betsy as I looked for a day program that wasn’t a larger scale “daycare” space. Betsy did a careful screening to make sure Otis would fit well with the other dogs and slowly folded Otis into the mix. Now that Otis is a “regular,” it gives me peace of mind that any newcomers to the program will be similarly vetted and introduced. A year into attending the day program, Otis is thriving and I am so grateful for the Bowser’s team (Finn, the elder pup, included!)

We have been taking our girl to Bowser’s since she was a puppy. Tuesday’s are her favorite day of the week. Betsy treats Pimm like her own and it’s such a relief to not have to worry about her while I’m working. I get pic and video updates during the day, like this gem. We love working with Betsy. She’s professional, a great communicator, and so welcoming to Pimm. If your pup can get a spot, their lucky!
Betsy is a gem! We have two cats, and when we leave to go out of town, we go in peace, because we know they are always so well cared for and loved by Betsy. We feel so fortunate to have found her. Her daily updates, photos, and videos are wonderful to receive and make us feel so close to our kitties, even when we are far away. We found Betsy about a year ago - and think she is fantastic!! Our three dogs love her as well....she comes for mid day visits when we are out of town. She has been fantastic! 100% reliable, waters my plants, makes sure the trash is out on pick up day, rotates lights, and takes excellent care of my grumpy older cat Pickles. I trust Melinda implicitly and she’s always respectful and dependable. I love the app she uses so I can see pictures of Pickles every day and a daily report. She’s a wonderful sitter! Can’t recommend enough.
I am very pleased with the experience we had with Melinda and Kyle. While I was out of town for two weeks, they visited my cats daily and ensured they received the care and affection they needed. It was such a peace of mind to receive updates and pictures of the cats, so I was able to relax on my time away knowing they were in good hands. Melinda was very responsive to my requests and made everything as convenient to arrange as possible. She and Kyle left my home respected and my cats happy. Melinda is the most loving, caring & accommodating pet sitter I’ve ever encountered. She takes such great care of my older dog and has helped raise my puppy since almost the day we got him, taking him to the dog park regularly throughout the week. Melinda and Kyle are awesome! Hands down, 100% worthy of being entrusted with your dog's care in your home, I couldn't have felt more comfortable leaving our dogs in their care. Melinda is a very capable pet sitter! She has veterinary experience dealing with Feline & Canines. She has an amazing amount of love for the pets of her clients. My Rottie wiggles from head to toe when he sees her!

My dog has been visiting Maggie on and off for many years. Maggie is always quick to respond when I check her availability and provides wonderful care for my dog. The environment is like home, there are cozy places for the dogs to be inside, a safe backyard with shade and sun for play, and lots of attention. It's a home away from home for my dog when I travel.

I’ve boarded my pup (Clementine) with Maggie several times now, always for fairly long stretches. I used to be so nervous about leaving her for longer than a few days, but I have absolutely no anxiety about her while she’s in Maggie’s care. When I had a family emergency arise requiring an extension of Clem’s boarding dates, Maggie’s incredible understanding and flexibility alleviated so much stress for me and my family. And even when there hasn’t been an emergency, it’s so nice to be able to leave for vacation and only have to think about your dog when you miss her rather than worrying constantly. Maggie’s home is SO beautiful, as well as very clean and inviting to pets. I would actually kill for her backyard, which has so much space for dogs to run and play. Clem always has the time of her life and I feel good knowing the attention of the person watching her isn’t diverted by a million other dogs; the few she takes on at a time are enough for stimulation without being overwhelming. The near daily photo/video updates are so nice and my family always gets a laugh out of them, too. I love and trust this place so much that I’ve now recommended Maggie/Unleashed to every Portland area dog owner I know. Absolutely worth every penny every single time, I hope I never have to take my dog anywhere else. I honestly cannot day enough good things.
We boarded our dog for 9 days and were very happy with the TLC she got here. Photos and video was posted daily on Facebook so we could see how she was doing. The owner's home is dog-friendly but also immaculately clean. There's a huge fenced backyard for frolicking as well as an indoor play area for rainy days. We wouldn't hesitate to leave our big girl here again.
This is such a lovely idea, hosting a few dogs in your home. Our experience with this business was less than ideal, though. The owner asked us to bring our dog (a 12 year old male miniature schnauzer) over to meet her dogs, because she needs to know our dog will get along with her dogs. So far, so good. Our dog, while far from perfect, loves other dogs. He loves other dogs so much that at TWO of his past doggie daycares, they used him as the test dog to see if other dogs would fit in. He has gone all the way up through advanced obedience classes, has learned circus tricks, and has competed in agility. He even used to work as a therapy dog, visiting long term care homes. He has never been aggressive towards anyone, much less another dog. He is more likely to play himself to death with them. After he met the owner’s dogs (which my husband thought had gone just fine), she let me know she was uncertain if he and her older male lab got along. She wanted our dog to stay for a night at her house while we were still in town to find out if they were compatible. This seemed like a lot of effort, but, okay, I can understand being cautious. We took him to her place (at the cost of $50) and left him there for a night. The next day, my husband picked him up and she did not say a word to him about what had gone on. We assumed that meant we were good to go. We had already made reservations with her for our upcoming vacation, WELL in advance of the time we would be out of town. With less than a week before we were due to leave town, the owner contacted me to let me know that she had another male dog staying with her and she would need us to bring our dog back to her house again to see if our dog got along with this other dog. Seriously? What was she going to do if they did not get along? It seemed glaringly unprofessional to tell someone with less than a week notice that you are not sure if our dog (a much beloved family member) would be acceptable to stay with her when the rest of the family is about to leave on vacation. Talk about stress inducing. The owner’s continued suspicion that our dog will be aggressive towards other dogs was unfounded and, frankly, offensive. We have found other, better options for boarding our little guy. I guess if you have a female dog or a young pup, this might be a good choice for you. The yard she has for dogs to run in is wonderful, and they have lovely little beds to sleep in all around the house. If you have a male dog, especially an older male dog, be forewarned you might want to look elsewhere.
Maggie loves dogs more than anyone I know. She will always take wonderful care of yours.

We just boarded our dog Remy for more than three weeks at Reynolds Dog Resort @ the West Linn location. As a result of that recent and stellar experience, Reynolds has our highest recommendation. We feel confident that staff took the best & most compassionate care of our dog possible, and we will always board our dog at Reynolds going forward. During his boarding, he developed some health issues that had nothing to do with his boarding at Reynolds. Wasting no time, Reynolds staff took him to his own vet for assessment and prescription. Although we were in Europe, Reynolds staff called us whenever necessary with updates on his health status, and finally with a report that his issue had resolved and that he was doing well. We opted for the Trailblazer package which got him out in a well supervised play yard several times a day with a manageable number of similarly sized dogs. We could see from the daily videos of the Trailblazer FaceBook group , that he was having a great time engaging both with the other dogs and with staff which allowed us to relax and enjoy our travels knowing that he was in good hands. He's happy to be home in excellent condition, and we are grateful to Reynolds staff for taking such exceptional care of him.
I am beyond impressed with how organized and friendly the staff is at Reynolds. They also took time to text me updates on how my pup was handling her first day at doggie daycare, and when I picked her up, she was very happy and excited. She also happened to be there on her third birthday, and the staff signed a card for her and took the cutest birthday picture of her! I highly recommend this place, and feel very reassured that she is in the best hands at Reynolds!
Our dog, Moose, is a regular here and visits a few times a week in most cases. The staff is awesome and Moose loves visiting the people and resort. We’ve had such great service and our dog comes home well exercised, happy, and tired. I also really appreciate that our dog doesn’t come home smelling terrible. Reynolds has been a game changer when it comes to play time outside and socialization while my wife and I work. Being in single dog family I think the Reynolds operation really plays a big role in why our young dog is so happy and healthy. We’ve been sending Moose here for quite some time now and they’ve been amazing for us and our pup on many levels. We commute from aways out and the experience is worth it. If you need an excellent place with a great team to care for your dog then Reynolds is totally worth a visit.
We used Reynolds Dog Resort for a long term boarding while on vacation. The rates were very reasonable and the amount of activity and playtime my dog got was amazing! My dog is a very playful, friendly husky mix who needs lots of running time and loves snuggles. She was engaged, active and very well stimulated. The personnel took amazing, personable care of my 3yr old dog and she was a happier dog and seemed to benefit from additional training once I brought her home. Love this place and trust them with my dog for short term day care and long term boarding.
Our standard poodle Clifford always has a great time at Reynolds Dog Resort for boarding and daycare. It’s a relief to have a place where we know he’s safe and having fun while we’re out of town. I highly recommend Reynolds!

Our little dog, Bebe, was anxious when we took her to doggy daycare at another place. We are so glad we found Reynolds. She looks forward to being there and is happier overall. The regular schedule and large outdoor area are the right mix for our dog.
We've been bringing our Labrador here for the past 6 years and we know he absolutely loves it. His excitement grows as we get closer in the car and knowing that they take great care of him when we are either out of town or just wanting to get him some social time with other docs is reassuring. We tell everyone we know that has a dog about this place. Highly recommend!
My wife and I LOVE taking our dog to RDR West Linn. They do such a good job of taking care of Daisy, and offer wonderful perks and activities each month (we especially love the photo shoots) that make it so special to come here. The staff is always friendly and professional and maintain excellent communication if any questions or concerns come up on our part.
Reynolds takes very good care of my dog who has special needs sometimes. They seem like they truly care and listen to my directions for her carefully highly recommend them. This is the Reynolds in West Linn.
Someone recently recommended this location, specifically, for doggy day care & boarding - this location & the Tualatin location are really close to each other, but the West Linn location has an outdoor play area with artificial turf (no/less dirt/mudd/mess when the rains hit). My 1 1/2 year old pup has gone 3 times for daycare, loves it, staff is GREAT, & pup sleeps SO GOOD nights after going! Definitely recommend!
Kodiak has been going to Reynolds since she was 4 months old! She loves it and they love her, it’s been a match made in heaven for the past year and a half and we’ll continue to go here in the future! They even take cute pictures on holidays with the pups :)
Yesterday was Phoebe and Gus Gus first daycare visit. The staff was friendly and professional. All though phoebe didn’t acknowledge me the whole way back home I know she will adjust. Clearly she’s use to being with mom all day. Thanks covid. I can’t wait for our second visit next week. I know the dogs will love daycare once they get in the routine.
The employees care deeply about my dogs. They were quick and efficient even during a rush when I came to pick up my dogs. I appreciate them managing my dogs and will definitely be bringing them again.
What happened?!?! Service is WAY down in this location. it's a 15-20 min wait to drop off and pick up my dog now, when before it was in and out in 2 mins. Familiar faces are gone, there are far fewer people out front and they always look stressed and overworked. I suspect new management and cost cutting which is terrible for customers.
First time we use pet boarding in the US as we just could not be happier, great place to bring your dog, we even got an update with picture. Gijs had a great time will definitely bring him more often
Trustworthy boarding and daycare facility. The girls are always so sweet and you can tell they care about all of the dogs that come through. My german shepherd was always anxious while boarding until I found Reynolds Dog Resort. He now comes home happy and tired and has a blast playing with the dogs and in the water there. Highly recommend.

I've known the owners for a long time now and I can honestly say that this is the most affordable in the Portland metro area. I've checked a dozen places and this is it! The dogs are very comfortable and will always have a buddy to visit with next to them. The drive is also part of the experience for sure, it's beautiful! I highly recommend this place!
Before we brought our German Shepherd Nellie to Joann for training we considered rehoming her. We loved her but she was out of control and too much for us older folks to handle. But we decided to give training a try first. Joann was amazing, training both Nellie and me. Now Nellie is a joy to have around. She is so well behaved even our vet complimented her obedience. I can’t say enough great things about the training we received. Joann saved our Nellie for us.
Love this place. Reasonably priced but more importantly they've always taken good care of our dogs. Been using them for years.
We went through a training course for our Cane Corso and its great for basic training and socializing your dog. I will definitely be back.
JoAnne and Michelle are very nice people and always took great care of our dogs. If there were any issues or questions they always gave us a call and kept us updated. They even called to check up on our pup when they heard he got sick. They are very reasonably priced and personally owned and operated. We also liked the length of the runs.

They take care of my dog and the facility very well. Always accommodate my schedule. Very great service for the price. Which is lower then the other kennels i contacted. I have used Whiskey Hill every year for the last 4 years summer vacations.

I've known these people for a decade....as a professional owner breeder handler and trainer I tolerate very few training classes. But this dog training class is fast paced and expert. I can walk in with an obedience dog for a work out or start young dog to work around other dogs. I even trained with my Champion show dog with him show stacking while others sat. He entered the ring well ready for show... Joanne has trained German Shepherd Dogs years ago and keeps a good kennel for boarding as well. She knows how to get the most out of you and your dog. Problem dogs welcome.
Very well maintained, Michelle is very nice and goes over everything with you. As a first time boarder at her facility, she even let me peek at my two dogs before I left. Boarding prices very reasonable.
Kathryn has taken care of my cat Gibson on two separate occasions. She has come twice a day to administer medications and feed him. She always sends pictures and videos so I can see he is happy and well cared for. It is wonderful to have someone who I can trust and count on.
Kathryn has taken care of two kitties of mine over the past five years. I travel frequently and it’s wonderful to know that I can leave everything in her hands. She is great about giving meds, special diets, and is genuinely caring and compassionate. The videos she sends always make me smile :)
