I looked after Daisy who was a complete pleasure. She is so well trained & walking out with her is an absolute delight.
I arrived the night before & Denny cooked a lovely meal & we went through Daisy’s requirements & things to do with the house.
Communication was brilliant. The house is very comfortable & the walks nearby are great.
I wouldn’t hesitate to sit for them again , I had such a lovely time. 😄

Chris and Lucy couldn’t have made me feel more welcome when I arrived at their lovely home if they tried. I was introduced to their lovely pets Belle, Steve, Rae and Rodger (Trevor was out at the time of arrival).
Their home is beautiful and their adorable pets are honestly a delight to look after.
There’s a lovely walk close to their home where the dogs will happily guide the way, we were even joined on one walk by one of their cats Rodger.
Couldn’t recommend enough - lovely house, area, pets and owners!! Thank you both for having me!! ❤️

What a great house sit! First off, there is Mia the cat, queen of the house. In all our house sits, we have never met such a small cat with such a big personality. She of course will let you know when she is hungry or wants to be let out, but she’ll also make sure you don’t shortchange her on brushing or scratches! And she may even jump up in your lap or just hang out with you as you relax in a deck chair in the beautiful backyard.

And the backyard is certainly a great place to be: the inviting pools, the extremely well-cared for flowers and plants, and the great view of the neighborhood trees and the variety of birds they host. The yard really shows a lot of love and attention.

This house is immaculate, and is so well equipped. It is such a great place to unwind, prepare a meal, or get ready for the day’s activities. There is lots of room and light, and it has all the entertainment and daily living resources you could need.

Finally, Joachim and Karanne are such thoughtful hosts. They helped us with planning our trip, and really went the extra mile in ensuring we felt welcome and enjoyed our stay. We have learned from their thoughtfulness and generosity, and will use some of their ideas when people house sit for us.

If our plans ever intersect, we would love to house sit for them again. Mia is really a great cat, in a great home, with wonderful hosts, all in a fantastic location for enjoying the Brisbane area.

Marta
We had a wonderful stay caring for Cowboy! He is a smart, sweet dog that loves going on walks and is also content to snuggle you or sit next to you. He was easy to care for we bonded quickly with that cute face! Carmel valley has many wineries and restaurants to visit. Most are dog friendly so Cowboy went along on many of our outings. He loved our River and beach walks and the opportunity to run off-leash for a bit. He responded well to his name and returned promptly.
Marta was very communicative and welcoming. She made us feel comfortable from our first Zoom meeting and later in person upon our arrival. She left great directions for the care of Cowboy and gave us full use of her home and well-appointed kitchen. Her home is beautiful and has amazing valley views. She has a garden that terraces the hillside with flowers, plants, birds and a sitting area. We enjoyed several sunsets on her spacious wrap around balcony. I highly recommend this house sit.

Stacey had both a welcome guide and a more detailed document about her home and Stanley. Her home is very comfortable. Stanley is a darling, well behaved, and very smart. He hopped on my bed at night but later walked off to his own bed
I miss him already. Highly recommended.

Thank you for a lovely time Stuart!!
Baxter is such an easy dog to relate to, with an intriguing personality....we genuinely miss him already:))
The house has an authentic detached layout with a stunning green scene surrounding it where you feel at home immediately!
Stuart was going out of his way to accommodate our needs, and picked us up from the station and dropped us off again on our way back to London.

Highly recommended sitting. Hopefully, we'll be meeting again not before long:))
