Rita’s home is a townhouse located in the Islington area of Toronto. It was a 15 minute walk to the subway line with several eateries nearby. Rita gave me a space in the underground garage to park my rental car. Neighbors were wonderful in helping me with questions during my stay. There were many dog walkers in the area. I walked Rita’s dogs separately since Leo was more reactive to people and other dogs. He responds to a short leash. Eliot is older and doesn’t require as much attention on the neighborhood walks.
We had a warm welcome from Rebecca and Marli. We enjoyed this sit immensely just a short walk to city centre with Museums and Library and lots of shopping. The walks were on your doorstep and a very comfortable home and restful garden with everything we needed. Marli is the sweetest dog and was a great companion every day. I recommend this sit which ticked every box.
Really enjoyed looking after Bumble and Molly were so well behaved, always came back when called off the lead and joy to be around. Frank was very easy to look after too and came and went as he pleased. The house was very well equipped with everything that you would need and Charlotte and Alistair were very kind to share anything I needed during my stay. Wonderful walks nearby, Puttenham Common a 5 min drive and beautiful peaceful countryside location.
Jose and Jario were very welcoming and flexible around our travel dates. Communication was great, they replied to us very quickly and clearly both before and during the sit. They also always had suggestions on how to move around and what to do in the city. The house is nicely located, around a 10min walk from the metro and buses, with loads to do around. Baco and Eros are adorable pups, very social and cuddly. They each have very different personalities but both are really sweet. They are very manageable dogs, don't need long walks and are easy to walk. They are also quiet in the house, during the day (we worked from home) and are okay to stay alone for a few hours, which gave us some time to explore after work and on weekends.
Such a joyful sit! Bax and Koko could not me more sweeter pups and also polar opposites. Baxter is given adorable retired old man vibes, lowkey and loves to lounge all day with occasional snuggles. Kokomo is a big loveable goofball. He's a great hikeing/adventure partner, and does great off leash on hikes especially if you have the treat fanny pack 😀 The house spacious, clean & comfy and in a great location, with tons of things to do nearby in any season! Communication was a breeze with nate and we'd happily come back to this sit!
I had the pleasure of house sitting for Barbara and Charles in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and it was an extraordinary experience. Their beautiful home was immaculate, creating a welcoming environment. Dizzy and Lexi, their two adorable dogs, were not only well-behaved but also incredibly sweet. What made the experience even better was Barbara and Charles' exceptional hospitality—they even lent us their car, showcasing their incredible generosity and accommodation.
