Wouldn’t leave my dogs anywhere else. About 7yrs ago I turned up & asked to look around as I’d viewed a few places that were not up to standard. Here, I was instantly impressed. I’d not booked & they accommodated my viewing without hesitation. Rooms spacious, half underfloor heated, half cool tiled… separate garden areas & a big play area for recreation time, upvc glass doors… no prison bars. They will cook if your dog has a specific diet, upkeep training routines… provide toys & beds if you forget… there is nothing these people won’t do to accommodate your dogs! Security seemed tight too which was reassuring. We only go away once a year & when I call they always remember who my dogs are as soon as I mention their names, that’s such a nice touch. Love this place! You need to book a year in advance though, if your away during high season times… they get booked up quick!

On the morning of August 5th, I checked in my bullmastiff for an overnight stay. Upon arrival, his health was in excellent condition. When I returned the following morning just before 10 AM to collect him, I noticed he refused his favorite treat, which was highly unusual given his typically strong appetite. As I attempted to load him into the car, he instead moved toward the yard, experiencing a watery bowel movement followed by vomiting. The staff attributed these symptoms to stress. However, upon arriving home, he continued to have two more episodes of watery stools at several-hour intervals. Regrettably, this experience has led us to decide not to return to this hotel in the future.

Our dog Bentley always stays at the Grove,he loves it. The staff are wonderful and caring. I wouldn't leave him anywhere else!

I would give 10 stars in I could. My boy Beau never went anywhere else. He loved his time at the Grove. Sadly we lost Beau earlier this year due to old age. When its time for us to get another best friend I would have no hesitations to let Rob , Linsay and the amazing team look after them.

Our beautiful gentle Leonberger Lola is our pride and joy so before entrusting her to any Doggy Daycare or Boarding hotel I had visited quite a few before we chose The Grove. The location is great, just off the M6 Toll in Lichfield. The kennels are super clean and well set up. The staff are really friendly and genuinely take an interest in the dogs. They looked after Lola and sent me pictures and a video of her while we were away. Their drop off/pick up times are really great and the best thing of all Lola came out of there looking like she'd had a ball!

Our golden retriever, Amber, loves it here. She is only 18 months old. She had a stay for one day and night as a trial prior to our 2 week holiday. When we returned to drop her for the holiday, she couldn't wait to get through the doors and out to socialise with the other dogs! Staff have kept us up to date whilst we were away and sent pictures of her having such fun with the other pooches. The staff are all fabulous and genuinely care for and enjoy the dog's company. We wouldn't send her anywhere else! Queuing in the foyer, waiting to drop off and pick up your dog, whilst chatting to others, all of the other clients say the same thing. Their dogs have been coming for 10+ years. Need you look anywhere else?!

Phoebe our cocker spaniel had a lovely time here, she gave us a warm welcome when we picked her up. It’s reassuring to know that she was so well looked after.

Can’t fault this kennels enough, small details such as cleaning the bowls out and the lovely photos and updates you receive. Lovely and personal doggy day care set up. Daphne (our dog) gets very excited when we drop her off and the photos we get of the day shows how much she loves it there with her dog friends. Vernon runs the business very well, communication is excellent, paperwork is all in check and he ensures that he has the right type of dogs there too - so we have never had any problems in 6 months of sending Daphne there.

Great punctual professionalism delivered with a genuine passion for care and safety for your pup. Vernon provides a fantastic service, which we are regular returning customers of. Vernon has such passion for dog care, which is evident in his knowledge and experience. Our puppy Reggie has felt reassured, relaxed, and grown in such confidence in socialising since attending. We look forward to our daily updates of what our puppy has been up to throughout the day - which is documented in fun lovely photos and commentary in their Service Reports. Very comfortable with leaving our fur baby in his care! It’s his home away from home. He always runs to their door keen to commence his exciting day with his new best friends. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Our pup has been going to daycare twice a week for a number of months now. He gets so excited when he realises he’s going in the mornings and when Vernon arrives to collect him. I can tell he’s in completely safe hands in their care and the experience has honestly been faultless, there’s no where else I would trust sending our pup. He’s really benefited from regularly socialising with other dogs and we can see from the pictures on the daily emailed reports, he has the time of his life there, always has his happy face on. Vernon shows a clear passion for dogs and is highly knowledgeable in providing the best care for them. It’s a home away from home and has exceeded all expectations. Worth every penny!!!

My little Dachshund has been going to Vernon and Jen at Doggy Daycare for a couple of months now and I cannot fault the excellent care that they have provided for her. She settled in straight away and it has helped her social skills and separation anxiety massively! Vernon and Jen have been really accommodating and put my mind at ease straight away, keeping me up to date with how she gets on and I always look forward to the photos and daily reports that they send at the end of the day ☺️. I would fully recommend their care at My Best Friend Daycare, they have been great and my pup is definitely a happy little thing when she gets home from her days spent with them and the other dogs.

Vernon is excellent, I highly recommend My Best Friend Dog Care. Our Labrador loves going out for walks with Vernon and all his doggy friends. We feel very lucky to have found such a diligent and professional person who we can trust to look after our dog. The communication after the walks is brilliant.

My puppy had her first experience of day care with Vernon at My Best Friend last week. Before she went we had a meet and greet session with the opportunity to ask any questions and look at the day care facilities. Vernon is knowledgeable and experienced in dog care and behaviour and made sure our puppy was happy with the other dogs and vice versa. When we left her there last week she was relaxed and happy to stay without a second glance and very relaxed when we picked her up. Vernon sent photos during the day and a little report with more photos the next day. Overall a great experience for us and our puppy. We've booked another session and would highly recommend to other dog owners.

My Dachshund has been going to My Best Friend Burntwood for Daycare for some time but has recently stayed with Vernon and Jen for her “holidays” whilst we were away. She went on lots of walks to different places and loved playing with her doggy pals in their awesome new garden. We got updates and photos everyday so we knew she was in safe hands and we could relax. Safe to say she loved it! (I think she’s missing them today 🤣 ) Thank You Vernon and Jen :)

Vernon clearly has a love and passion for animals. From the moment he met our little pup he was kind and patient (as she can be a little nervous). Her confidence has come on leaps and bounds since going on dog walks with Vernon and her little pals and we know for certain she is in safe hands and having a wonderful time! Couldn’t recommend Vernon highly enough if you want someone to walk or look after your precious pup!

I would highly recommend My Best Friend Dog Care, a very friendly, caring and professional service. Vernon and Jen are so committed and passionate and they really do offer a home from home environment. Our pup Luna can be very nervous but Vernon and Jen have really gone out of their way to ensure Luna feels comfortable, working with Luna at her own pace she has the best time! After only four visits I can really see a huge difference in Luna’s behaviour and positive progress. We are updated with photographs, videos and a fabulous service report at the end of the day which is so lovely to read and is something I look forward to receiving. Vernon and Jen really do go above and beyond all expectations and we are so thankful Luna has been lucky enough to secure a place with them. Thank you Vernon and Jen 😃

Cannot recommend My Best Friend Dog Care Burntwood enough! I was stuck for cover for my pup and Vernon was able to help out last minute with dog walking. An amazing service and so attentive to any of your pups needs. My 10 month old Bulldog suffers with grass allergies and Vernon was fab with making sure this was watched closely and my pup always came home so happy and can really tell good care was taken of her. A service report with photos and info of the service is also sent afterwards every day and was so lovely seeing my pup having fun and just being able to be kept in the loop with their day. 5 stars always ⭐️

Jack & Chloe are the only people I truly trust to look after my dog Alfred. I love the updates I receive twice a day, they settle my nerves at leaving him whilst I go away. I am so lucky to have found them

Lola’s house is just brilliant. You’ll never feel guilty again about leaving your dog and instead feel guilty about coming home and picking them up. The dogs are treated so well and with so much love and fuss and the daily photos and update are the highlight of the day. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Our spaniels are 13 and 15 years old and once again, Jack and Chloe (and of course Lola) took care of them for a short stay in September. At 15, our older dog needs lots of time, patience and understanding - those qualities are in abundance at Lola's House and they both came back happy and relaxed and our older dog seemed more invigorated, having spent time with new doggy friends.

I highly recommend Lola’s House for all your dogs needs. Mollie my very active Border Collie has just spent 3 weeks with them. Constant updates and pictures are so important as it gives the owner a clear insight to what our precious dogs are up to. The use of the enclosed field is a wonderful attribute and I mentioned Mollies agility classes in February and Jack was straight on it with Mollie. I cannot recommend them highly enough as I feel completely relaxed knowing Mollie is in the safe hands of Jack and Chloe. Thank you guys

Our Romanian rescue Ronald has stayed at Lola’s house 4 times now. The service they offer is like no other! They get to know so much about your dog before the stay and will ask before every visit if anything has changed or if there is anything they need to know. This is important to us because we have a rescue. We receive daily updates on how Ronald is doing along with photos at home and on his walks. The photos make us feel at ease whilst on our holidays. Ronald always looks so happy in the photos. We also love that we can bring Ronald’s beds and toys so it feels like home. Jack and Chloe are just amazing, we feel they love ronald almost as much as we do. We recommend Jack and Chloe (Lola’s house) to everyone they are just so caring and passionate for dogs.

If I could give Jack & Chloe 10 stars I would, they are amazing people and would recommend them to anybody, that wants their dogs looking after as if they are at home. They treat my Bronson like the king he is, so much so he's grumpy when he has to leave😂and come home!!!

We have been so impressed by the wonderful care and attention that our golden retriever has enjoyed at Lola’s house. Elsa was given so much love… the owners are very empathetic towards each dog’s needs. Jack and Chloe emailed us photos and updates every day while we were away. Jack and Chloe are amazing dog carers which I highly recommend. They are actually much more than that. They’re my dog’s second family. Millo (my gorgeous clumberdoodle) has been with them since he was a puppy. It’s been 1.5 years now that Jack & Chloe are looking after him every time I need. He loves them to bits and he’s so happy every time he’s got a chance to stay at Lola’s house ☺️

Jack and Chloe have been providing let out’s for us since the start of the year for our three border terriers. They have been the first independent dog walking/let out service that has not let us down! They are honest, very reliable and fantastic with our dogs! They keep us updated with photos and messages daily to let us know that our ‘boys’ are ok. We have absolute no hesitation in recommending Lola’s House for dog boarding/walking/let outs. Brilliant place! As a dog owner you want to make sure, that when you go away, you leave your dog (in my case 2 dogs) in the safe, friendly and home like environment - and that’s what I think Walls4Paws is. I visited many kennels and none of them came even close to what Walls4Paws is offering. Beautiful setup, great outdoor space, freedom, daily updates and comfy sofas:) It’s very reassuring to know my dogs are looked after so well while I am away. I would definitely recommend it!

My friend left her two dogs there for three weeks. Went with her to pick them up. Beautiful place, I'd have gladly stayed there myself. Run by a vet, so the dogs were very well looked after. Lots of grounds for them to run around, but all fenced off and supervised. She was extremely pleased and would highly recommend the place.

Absolutely wonderful place to send your dogs. Sarah and her team are fabulous and our dogs always come back happy and love to stay at Walls4Paws. When we have a holiday so do the dogs. Highly recommend.

My dog seems very happy after time I collected him. Very nice spacious place. It's way better than dumping your dog in a tiny room (kennels). I'm glad to find this place as it does feels like "home to home" :) So far, I use them 3 times...no issues so far :D

Leaving one star is too generous. Sarah, the owner of walls4paws was the rudest person I’ve ever met in my life. Arrived at the house at 9.10 rather than 9am for drop off due to traffic which we explained and apologised for. She was extremely rude and unwelcoming on arrival. Our dog is on a medical diet and being trained in routine and eats his dinner around 5pm. We asked if he could be fed at this time, she refused and said she will feed the dogs at the same time because she will need more staff to do this request and said “ I won’t give myself more work”. I was so shocked by this that me and my sister were left speechless. When speaking to us, her hand gestures were very rude and dismissive, overall a very uncomfortable woman to be around. We had booked tickets for Alton Towers and we are not from the area so had no option but to leave our puppy here, for this reason we stayed very calm and collective and tolerated the disgusting behaviour and attitude of this person. When she took our puppy through the gate and removed his lead, she handled his neck very rough and huffed and puffed at him because of his excitement to play with the other dogs. On our meet and greet, we were greeted by Spencer who was so lovely. He explained everything so well and made us feel so comfortable about leaving our puppy cavapoo with this company, unfortunately after meeting his boss, we will never leave our puppy here again and would urge anyone with a small dog not too as her handling is very bad. We have a small Cavapoo and German Shepard, we have visited many dog boarding homes over the years and NEVER come across somebody this terrible.

I used walls4paws as a one off as I was staying nearby for a week. I could not believe how rude and aggressive Sarah, the owner was. Never in all the years that I’ve used dog boarding services have I come across someone who has quite literally left me speechless in how ill-mannered and unprofessional she was. She clapped her hands at me whilst saying ‘come on, hurry up chop chop’ when I had arrived - before I’d even got to her gate with my puppy to say hello. I ignored this. We were told on our meet and greet that they were totally flexible with drop off and pick up times, just to ‘let them know’ so we did, the pick up time was extended by 30 mins. Sarah’s attitude to this was shocking. She responded with ‘so I’ll just rearrange all my staff then shall I?’ I felt so uncomfortable as you don’t expect someone to speak to you in this way, I was made to feel like I was being told off. I tried to explain as politely as I could that we were told the timings would be flexible, and that I called 4 times with no answer, she just huffed and puffed, rolling her eyes. Very awkward encounter. I told Sarah I would be leaving her a bad review, she seemed unbothered but this and said ‘that’s fine, I will just say you didn’t use our services’ - I’ve noticed in other reviews she has also said the same to them. I would not recommend leaving your puppies and dogs with such an unpleasant woman.

They don't take intact dogs. However, this is not made clear on the website (except in item 13 of T+C), nor on the extensive and detailed on line form where this information might be helpful. It took a while to complete the form, having to find chip number and other details as required fields. There is a field where you can state whether the dog is intact, but this does not save you from spending more time completing the very detailed information required. There is then a wait for a reply to tell you that they don't take intact dogs. Hopefully the owners can change the website as a consideration to potential customers.

Ripley has spent another doggy holiday at this great place. Great to know she is having a fun time whilst we are away. The photo and video clips are a bonus to be able to see what your pouch is up to! Plenty of open space and freedom .. doggy paradise !!

Amazing homely place for dogs to stay with caring and friendly staff who love dogs. Every time I visit all the dogs are really happy and enjoying the company, its like a kindergarten for dogs where they have friends to play with instead of being home alone.

It was the first time our dog had ever been in kennels and she's 6. She was really nervous and they did a great job of putting her at ease and looking after her. Lovely, happy staff always out walking the dogs when you go there and stopping to give them a fuss etc.

Amazing kennels, the staff and owners treat your dog as if they were their own. We drive all the way from Devon just so our belgian malinois can be looked after by people who really care.

My hound came back home happy and settled. All of the team I met were attentive, enthusiastic and friendly. Would recommend these guys in a heartbeat.

Was so nervous about leaving our molly for 2 weeks as at the age of 9 she had never been in kennels and away from people she knows. I didn't have to worry. The team were amazing with her and sent me photos and updates when I asked how she was getting on. Would definitely recommend and use them again. Thank you.

Love Matt and the staff at Buddys. My only concern with posting this review is that they’ll get even more popular than they are as I hate having to take the girls anywhere else when they’re fully booked! Been taking the dogs there for the last 5 years and it’s always been a pleasure dealing with them, my girls always come back very happy and calm (which is a rarity for them!) so I know they’re getting plenty of walks and fuss when they’re there. Highly recommend Matt and the team!

My girls Bella and willow absolutely love going to daycare. I can't rate these guys enough, they love our girls as much as we do which means the world to us. We get regular pictures and videos every day so we can see how much fun they are having with all there friends! Amazing company and amazing staff!!! 100% recommended

They are brilliant with my boy who was very nervous at first but now absolutely loves to go. They give him so much love and attention which is what he needs being 13 years old and the updates received on a daily basis are lovely. I get lots of pictures which is lovely as I know he is ok. Cannot recommend these guys enough! Bruno loves going to Doggy Day Care, great for his socialisation with both people and other dogs. They also send pictures & videos throughout the day to show how he's getting on. Response time is great and they're very accommodating on yours and your dogs situation. Well priced for full/half days. Worth the money just to tire him out for when he gets home 🙌 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My little Lainey started going here & she was so reserved & almost timid, but 3 months later & wow! She is such a confident, playful girl - she’s into everything! She gets excited to go - doesn’t even look back for me, and couldn’t care less when I pick her up - she’s having so much fun! Jack, James & the team are just amazing! They go above & beyond to make sure are girls & boys are happy there! Best thing I ever did for my Lainey!

Our shihtzu has been going to Doggy Day Care since she was 12 weeks old and honestly it's the best decision I ever made for her. The second we park outside she's scrambling to get out and see all of her friends. The staff are incredible, they really get to know your dogs so well, and the other fur babies are wonderful. If you're looking for somewhere to send your little one when you're out/at work, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

This isn't just somewhere where you leave your dog and pick up at the end of the day. You'll always get communication during the day with updates on photos & videos regardless if they are relaxing or having fun. Staff are friendly and always chatty at any time during the day.

Our dog cannot wait for his mad crazy days at Doggy Day Care Burton. They truly care for each dog, send WhatsApp videos throughout the day so you get to share the fun your pet has! They go above and beyond fetching and dropping our boxer home if needs be. Definatly give them a 5*star rating!

My cocker spaniel absolutely loves doggy daycare and pulls me to go in! The staff are so friendly and caring. Each day that my spaniel is in daycare I get lots of pictures and videos which I absolutely love. I can relax at work knowing he is well taken care of and having fun. Love this place! I have been using Doggy Day Care Burton for 3 years now and I couldn't be happier with the level of care and attention my dog receives. The staff are really friendly and professional and the environment is great for all dogs (even my wimp who doesn't like anywhere else other than here and home) Its a fantastic place run by wonderful people who will treat your dog like family.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Brilliant service and wonderful staff. Teddy absolutely loves coming to Doggy Day Care Burton. Teddy started from just a 22 week old pup and now 3 and half! I don't trust anyone else with him, as he's our pride and joy. The team is wonderful and provide a safe and controlled environment for all the dogs to enjoy and have fun.
