Amanda is a truly fun and kind person with incredible energy. This is the second time she has come to our home to take care of my cats, Dallas and Chico. She is very attentive to details, ensuring that everything is perfect for both the cats and the house. She keeps me informed with regular and delightful updates about Dallas and Chico, sharing charming anecdotes about their activities and her own adventures in Amsterdam, which I really enjoyed hearing about! Her affection for the cats is clear, as she spends quality time playing with them and cuddling them, which has made them very happy in my absence. Amanda's care and attention have left me feeling incredibly grateful that our paths crossed. When I returned home, everything was organized, and Dallas and Chico were happy. I immensely recommend Amanda to anyone who is lucky enough to receive her application!

Kat was a fantastic sitter who looked after our mature dog with great care. She was very responsive sending frequent updates with short videos and messages. We also had an unfortunate bathroom problem which Kat dealt with calmly until we could get someone in to fix the issue. When we came home the house was cleaned well and she had bought us some milk which was appreciated. I would recommend her for another sit and would be happy for her to sit for us again.

Katie & Max were incredibly kind to give up time at very short notice to come and look after our cats for us when we were let down for a sit - Katie even popped in for us on her birthday despite having plans elsewhere for later that morning. Puvan looked after our cat twice over the Christmas period and was lovely. Our cat warmed up to her straight away and we got lots of lovely pictures of the cuddles. The house was clean and tidy when we arrived. Thank you Puvan!

Lizzie sat for us for 2 weeks which is the longest we've been away from our dog. Being local she was able to meet up with us before the sit which was a big plus and put us at ease. Lizzie was very easy to get on with, reliable and communicative. She sent us regular updates and photos and even had to deal with a leak from the shower which was unfortunate but she was able to arrange a time for the plumber to visit. We weren't too sure what time we'd return home but Lizzie was flexible and thoughtful to ensure Dobby had his last feed & walk. We came home to a very tidy house, some lovely home made jam and garden raspberries in the freezer!😋 Thank you Lizzie for giving us peace of mind that both Dobby and our house were being well looked after.

Miriam looked after my cat Whisky and my flat for two weeks and I genuinely couldn’t be happier with her. She’s the loveliest person and Whisky took to her straight away, communication was always on point throughout the sit and the flat was spotless when I returned. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Brian and Eke's beautiful home.  It was very comfortable in a lovely setting overlooking Lake Scugog.  Smokey, their delightful cat made the stay very special as she is very affectionate and loving.  I would highly recommend this housesit if there is a requirement in the future. Should you ever be in the fortunate position to be asked to care for Chris and Bob’s home and their two furry felines, you’ll have definitely fallen on your feet, so to speak.

Chris and Bob keep an immaculate home, not just super clean, but highly organised, with a relaxing ambience and lovely garden.    Their two rescue cats, Custard and Tikka, are a delight to care for.  

 This is a great location, with so much to see in the area and supported by thoughtful, generous hosts.   Thoroughly recommended!
