We had the most wonderful time housesitting Susan´s and Walt´s beautiful house and Cinnamon cat in Kona. We arrived on a previous day and were introduced to Cinnamon the cat and the house and the duties (watering the plants and picking up mail mainly). Cinnamon was beautiful and a bit shy lady who spent the days wandering around the neighborhood between morning and evening meals. Evenings she spent watching tv with us or outside of the front door. Susan and Walt made us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay!
I loved my sit at Manuela and Marco's home. I loved Penny: she's gentle and playful, and cuddly once she got to know me. Which happened pretty soon and it was lovely to spend time together. She's easy to watch - just be aware when she's out the front door and check once in a while if she wants to come back in, those are usually short expeditions... - the whole experience was wonderful. The house and garden are beautiful and I thank Manuela and Marco for their generosity and trust.
I’ve had a wonderful time in Emma and Jonnys Cornish cottage looking after Inca, Winston and Edwina. Great communication all the way through with Emma and a very comprehensive welcome pack with everything I needed to know. Two of the best behaved dogs I’ve ever come across in fact i never left them they were such a joy to be around that I took them with me everywhere Edwina has an easy routine and just enjoys her life without too much fuss. Emma and Jonny are very welcoming and they have a lovely comfortable cottage with a beach close by. Nice walks locally where the dogs can run free but they are so portable that you have the whole of Cornwall to explore with them. Looking forward to coming back in August
We had a lovely time in Blackrock with Tilly! She might not be your traditional dog-sit, but Shane did a great job of preparing us for what to expect. Shane's place is accessible to the DART into the city, but we also enjoyed exploring the lovely village of Blackrock. Thanks Shane!
Lovely home. Molly and Danielle were so gracious! They left great instructions that made dog and cat care and yard maintenance easy. Don’t be intimidated by pet meds. One time and I was a pro. Turbo gets his cut up in little sausages - couldn’t be easier. Button is the funniest dog ever. I’d never met a smiling dog…until I met her. She’s a love. Turbo and John Cena want to be your new BFFs and will follow you everywhere. Don’t be surprised if you wake up with them snuggled into your stomach, back, knees, feet…😀 There is a grocery store 4 minutes away and a lovely state park to hike in that about a 5 minute drive. Highly recommend!!!
Mark, Nicole and I communicated well by email, a pre-in-person visit, and then texting. I definitely enjoyed caring for their hobby farm family. Emmy was such a chill dog, willing to be my bestie for the long weekend, right at my side for the few farm chores too, such as caring for the “girls” (a yard full of hens) and 2 roosters. But wait, what is a farm without goats also! Eight of them, needing to be let out each morning, and safely penned come nightfall. It was easy to choose a favourite or two from this fun bunch, herding Emmy and I when we weren't doing the same right back. Mark and Nicole’s spacious yet cozy log home is nestled up a short mountain drive, with the main town and amenities being only 10 or so minutes away. Thank you for sharing with me your home and beloved pets! Future pet owners/sitters should be happy to accept an invitation from you as much as I was. Looking forward to seeing you again.
