Dog Sitters in Batavia, IL

This was my first experience with the site and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Debra was prompt in responding and took great care of our kitties during our brief trip. Would have her back anytime.

We were very lucky & thrilled to be able to welcome back Jim & Lana to look after our three boys and the house for a second time and for our longest trip away so far (5 weeks). It is a real pleasure when away for such an extended period (for us at least) to have the comfort of knowing the boys are happy and the house cared for. Even better to come home to chilled doggies & a clean house. Jim & Lana are great communicators, very experienced with property & pets and lovely people, who again made us feel at ease and definitely bonded with our boys. No surprise at all that they have so many fantastic reviews on top of ours and we absolutely recommend them, while also hoping that our future vacation plans and their commitments coincide again and we can welcome them back. Thank you both x

This was only our second sit so we are still figuring out how things work. We reached out to Suzanne and Jim about sitting after other applicants had declined for various reasons. We also recruited our first sitter last year. They were positive and willing to make the long trip west to us and interested in exploring the area. Lola was well cared for during their stay which was the most important thing. As in other reviews, some cleaning tasks did not get completed.

Esther and Mark house/pet sat for us while we were in Iceland for our honeymoon. We were so glad we picked them for such an important time! They were proactive with communicating, booked their travel with wiggle room in case we were delayed and kept us up to do with pictures while we were away. The fur kids were all happy and well taken care of and they even left the house cleaner than when we arrived. We would love to have them sit for us again anytime 🙂

Absolutely fabulous experience! Bridgette's husband John helped us out with a crisis by couriering a lockbox key that I forgot which was mission-critical. Thank you so much for your help! Then, when we returned, our two Bengal cats were in high spirits; romping and playing through the house. Clearly, they were quite happy with the care that they had received in our absence. Coupled with the frequent photos Bridgette and John sent over the extended weekend, we were extremely pleased with how the sit went. It is also worth noting that our return trip did not go well. We were subjected to a series of boarding planes / deplaning / rescheduling / reboarding / deplaning again... Throughout it all, John and Bridgette were in constant communication to ensure that the cats' well-being was attended to. We finally arrived home around 2:00 and John and Bridgette had just left... We are so looking forward to having Bridgette and John again and hope that we are fortunate enough that they might be available for our next trip! These people are the best! We booked Joanne and Rick in January. We had a great interview and booked them at that time. I kept in touch through the next couple of months. Joanne was very responsive and a great communicator. When they showed up at the scheduled time, we hit it off right away. Indy was very 'taken' with Joanne and I knew it was going to be fine. I asked for a picture or two each day. They took Indy on hikes almost everyday and I got great photos of him and the beautiful scenery. The house was just as I left it, neat and tidy. It was a pleasure to have them stay in our house. I felt that it was going to be a good sit and it was. I would definitely recommend Joanne and Rick and would have them back any time.

We are so lucky to have found Joy for last-minute pet care! Joy looked after our three dogs, two chickens, and dozens of plants while we traveled for a long weekend. She loves animals and has so much experience caring for them. She is very organized, tidy, and self-sufficient. Joy is a breeze to communicate and coordinate arrival and departure with. We came home to a clean home and happy pups! We are so grateful.

Michael and Katharine were lovely house guests and excellent sitters. They were communicative and responsive and made us feel secure that our pets and home were being well cared for. They played with our very energetic Ace and sent pics and videos. They were immaculate in their tidiness - we couldn’t even tell they stayed here! I wouldn’t hesitate in inviting them back for another sit.

This was our first experience with zeewoi, and we could not be more thrilled, happy and satisfied. Kathleen was outstanding in every respect: great communication from our initial contact, during our time away, and then coming home to a sparkling house, fresh flowers to greet us, and two happy and well cared for dogs. Thank you Kathleen and zeewoi for a wonderful experience. We will definitely do it again, and would gladly use Kathleen again.

I cannot recommend Karla highly enough; we all absolutely loved her instantly! From the moment she arrived, straight from an overnight flight, she was keen to understand our needs, meet our pets and get familiar with our home. This included instantly bonding with our skittish, 10 year old cat! Whilst we were away, Karla sent frequent emails, including photos and video, to update us on how things were going, which was incredibly reassuring. On our return, everything was left beautifully clean and tidy, with cupboards replenished with lots of tasty treats, ailing plants (including a coriander plant that had been trying to die) restored to lustrous life and our garden revitalised under Karla's expert eye. We're very much hoping to stay in touch with Karla in the future as it felt like we'd left our pets and home with a friend.

Another phenomenonal sit by Mike and Kathy! These two are some of the most genuine, caring people I have met in a long time. My dogs are THRILLED to see them! Your home and pets are in loving hands when you host Mike & Kathy. 🤩
