We cannot speak highly enough of Ros and Mike. They arrived on time and had clear questions and expectations of what would be required. Our house was spotless when we returned home and they had been extremely thoughtful in leaving some groceries for us as well as a beautiful bouquet. Our pets were very happy and it was clear they’d been very well cared for. We had regular updates and pictures whilst we were away, which was lovely. We would highly recommend Ros and Mike as reliable, trustworthy and caring housesitters.

It is not so easy to find someone who understands how to look after older dogs. I also appreciate your flexibility in changing circumstances with one of my dogs passing recently - which meant the arrangements for your sit were slightly altered. Thank you for your flexibility.

Abi was a perfect house sitter when we went on holiday for four nights. She arrived in good time to go through all the instructions and took everything on board. I felt entirely confident leaving her to look after everything. She is a very personable character- friendly and professional too. She looked after our menagerie beautifully, kept us up to date with regular messages and left the house in an immaculate state. She even left a cottage pie in the fridge ready for us on our return which was delicious. Thank you so much.

Emily was with our pets Jimmy the cat and Carola, our dog for a 2 month stay while we were away in Spain. She was wonderful with them and they were well cared for and happy when we returned. Emily fell ill her first week sitting but we were able to send Carola to a local dog-walker/sitter for a few days while she rested and recuperated from a very bad flu. Jimmy stayed home and kept her company. Cats are easier to care for even when sick. The house was in order also with the aid of our housekeeper who helped out and knows exactly how and where things are kept and organized. Not speaking Italian may have been somewhat of an issue when problems arose but we have very helpful neighbors, hence the 4 star for self-sufficiency due to the language barrier. I'm certain she's perfectly self sufficient in English speaking situations. We did have an electrical problem when a fuse unexpectedly blew and a heating issue, both resolved within 24 hours or less. Unfortunately Emily was without heat during that time and we suggested she use the small space heater until the problem could be resolved. Always good to have emergency back-ups in place. I was able to reset the date/time for heating system with Emily by phone using whatsapp. We regularly received photos of her walks and park runs with Carola. Also photos of Jimmy snugggling up to her. The pets were obviously content during our absence and spoiled with brushings, treats and lots of love. Emily kindly bought us some breakfast foods when we returned which was very considerate. Emily is a reliable and attentive sitter. Your pets are in good hands with her!

Leo and Miri came to look after our two dogs, two cats and nine chickens for five weeks. I honestly couldn't fault them. We felt so lucky to have them holding the fort while we were away. They were completely wonderful from start to finish. Great communication and they appeared really responsible and attentive right from our very first zoom call where Leo impressively took notes for the entire conversation. They were so loving, caring and nurturing towards our animals, sending photos and updates regularly, we really felt that they were in the best hands. Various things needed attending at our house while we were gone (that we hadn't anticipated) and they dealt with them brilliantly, and efficiently. We were so grateful for their help, patience and understanding. They left our home immaculate (I think actually cleaner and tidier than we left it) and they clearly took pride in looking after our home as if it was their own. I really hope they will come back in the future and I would highly recommend them. Thanks Leo and Miri!

Antonio is such a lovely person who obviously loves animals and enjoys meeting their owners. He's become a real friend and is welcome back anytime.

Alison is friendly, organised, and reliable. We had a video call with her before the sit, she arrived the day before we left to go through all of the cat's needs and she sent us daily updates. Our three cats were comfortable with Alison within a few hours which helped us to relax before leaving.

Susan is a sitter star! Communication was excellent from the start, she genuinely cared about the sit and left everything immaculate. There were photos, messages to reassure and even gifts. The cats were clearly happy Would choose her again in a heartbeat.

It was an absolute pleasure having Jasmine sit for us. Great communication from the start, lovely updates and photos of the boys (who clearly had a lovely time as they werent that bothered when we got back!) The house was immaculate when we returned. Mark and Sue looked after our young Cocker Spaniel for two weeks whilst we took the family on holiday. Right from the initial contact with Mark we had a good feeling. Mark and Sue were great at communicating before and during our holiday. Short videos were sent to us to we could see our dog and we saw that she was being very well looked after and looked very happy. Mark Sue came a day early so we could introduce them to the house, dog and chicken. When we returned after two weeks the house was immaculate, bedding washed and dried, absolutely no sign of people being in our house for two weeks. They were even so respectful that they bought their own wood for the log burner! Very happy with Mark and Sue and wished they were available for every sit we need.

Alexandra and her sister were delightful. The animals were well cared for and the house left clean.

Sarah was a rather fabulous pet sitter. She genuinely loved the animals and made Roo the dog in particular very happy. She took her on long varied walks, took time to get to know her and shared some of their adventures with me. She fussed over the Ragdoll cats and gave them a brush. On top of this she left the house clean and tidy, which is what you want when you come home tired from travelling. Everything was stress free, she took over the sit from friends of ours and did it with ease. We met when we got back and I found her friendly and engaging. I would welcome Sarah back next time we need a sitter. I can imagine she will be very popular but hopefully we shall get a slot. Thanks again Sarah.
