This is one of those sits you want to rave about but are then afraid there will be too many wonderful applicants next time! ;) The home is lovely, w plenty of space and amazing ocean views to be enjoyed from inside as well as from the spacious back yard (inc a hot tub). The location is great, w driving access to some pleasant beaches, cafes and stores. Our hosts were friendly, polite, responsive, and appreciative. The cats ('the kids') are sooooo beautiful and sweet, each w delightful quirks and personalities. With affection, brushing, and night time treats as they walk to their individual beds (!), they were absolutely loveable. We would happily return!
Ellen and I would love to thank Heike and Volmar for the sit in Rolleston taking care of Tiger. What a pleasure it was. He was such a great cat to care for. The house was comfortable and warm. The garden was pleasure to be part of. Watering the plants was no problem at all. We thank you!!
Nova is sweet and cuddly, easy to walk and a pleasure to be with. Esma and Nibbles are playful and warm, and all three pets get along well together. Jessica had everything set up nicely for us, with good communication before and during the sit. The condo and surroundings are nice too, with a large park across the street and some scenic water/sailboats nearby, nice places for walking Nova. We had a great experience overall, and would definitely sit for Jessica again!
