Anastasia stayed with Brownie for over 5 weeks, by far the longest time we’ve been away. She was fantastic. She was reliable, extremely neat and clean, and took great care of Brownie. When a strong storm was coming the direction of the house, she communicated with us effectively about what needed to be moved inside, and did so with no complaints. She notified us with photos when packages were delivered. I have no hesitation recommending Anastasia to take care of your home and pets!
Well, Marlene survived her first sit with a senior set-in-her-ways Siberian Husky, which is no small feat :-). My girl can be very talkative, and this time of year, her undercoat falls out in literal handfuls and tufts, necessitating vacuuming every other day or so. Daily brushing is a must for about a month, and Marlene was initiated when the weather warmed up midway into her stay. She braved the Michigan winter blast that hit with snow pants and a puffy coat to get my dog out at least twice each day. My girl was happy and content and walked and fed on schedule. My house was vacuumed and tidy, with laundry done, plants watered, and even a "welcome home" dinner on the table when I returned. It was a pleasure to be away and not worry about my pet. Marlene sent updates every couple of days, as was reasonable for the time difference, and asked questions when needed. I would rely on Marlene to care for all creatures great and small and my home as well.
Wow, what lucky people we were to have had the pleasure and opportunity to have these fine people, Laurie and Jack, housesit for us! Couldn't have been better! They now have a permanent key to our California home. They left our place better than they found it and did an A1 job! I hope future housesits for them give them the respect they deserve! Fantastic people, I sincerely hope to have as close friends moving forward! Thank you Laurie and Jack, thanks for your friendship, all the best in your travels!
