We had a great time with this two week stay. Jeri and Joel have the house set up so it is just so easy and comfortable for sitters--everything is labeled, you have your own private space, and the instructions for pet care are clear. Shiloh was a constant companion during my work day and sitting on the couch at night. Frankie was a little more independent, but he loves getting brushes and pets every night. They were unfussy eaters and just so nice to be around. I enjoyed this part of Las Vegas, too. We went hiking at Red Rock Canyon and biking at Blue Diamond, and explored the restaurants of the area. I'd recommend this sit and would love to come back if the opportunity arose!
Sarah is a warm and welcoming host. We met prior to the sit, so I could get to know the house and cats and we got along well. The day before the sit, Sarah she kindly also picked me up from the station and we were able to have a meal together prior to travel which was lovely. I felt comfortable in Sarah's home and she provided clear instructions. The house is located in a peaceful area. I enjoyed a sunny week, so was able to relax in the Garden, which was lovely. There is a great leaf lined walkway into the town centre only 15 min walk. I had a very chilled week with the cats Curtis and Mila who are very laid back and easy going both are sweet cats. Curtis let me know gently if he wanted food or to be fussed he was friendly and relaxed cat. Mila is independent and out and about more it was all very straight forward. Thank you Sarah for inviting me and I hope to see you again sometime.
Myra & Elaine were great. They welcomed me into their home and shared their darling cats, Jake & Zephyr, who were very friendly and always willing for a cuddle. It was a great location and I would love to sit for them again.
Caesar and Inka are beautiful oldies. Caesar is such a gentle giant, and Inkaz although a little shy is such a sweet girl. They are quite the pair the two of them and you can't help but smile when you take them for walks, look behind you and see one giant and one tiny little dog trotting slowly behind you. Overall the two were very easy to care for, I do recommend prior experience with older dogs if you do want to take on a sit like this one. Rimante was super lovely, we had a chat before and after the sit and she is very friendly. She even shared a cacao drink made from beans in Peru! She also drove me to her local station which was very helpful. St Albans is a lovely area! And Rimantes neighbours are lovely people! Make sure to check out the parks nearby and visit the old pub in Verulamium Park. Highly recommend this sit!
I had a great experience taking care of Pixel!He was a bit shy at first but after one-two days he grew more confident and he is a very sweet cat once he trusts you! Lena was a wonderful host. She made me feel very welcome in the apartment. And communication was easy throughout the stay. A bonus is that the apartment has a great location.
I loved getting stay with Flipper! Flipper is the cutest, sweetest, easiest dog. I spent the majority of my trip rubbing his belly and cuddling with him. Skyler and Justin provided me with everything I needed for my stay and their house is amazing! I can't say enough how welcomed and taken care of I felt by them. I miss Flipper so much already, I would love to come back and stay with him again.
