We have a fairly strict protocol for walking Lucy, including what has been described by one sitter as "wearing a silly vest" while taking our somewhat reactive dog on a stroll. Courtney followed the protocol to a tee. When we came home, Lucy was tired, which is a good thing in our books, because it means she was properly exercised. The house was cleaner than we left it, the flowers watered and the countertops spotless. Thanks Courtney for allowing us to have a great vacay with a peace of mind, knowing that our Lucy was in good hands.
Randall was a superb house sitter! He was great communicator (with an excellent sense of humour) and super-organised and reliable. He contacted us with any concerns (like a vomiting cat) but was also able to manage most eventualities on his own. We came back a week early due to illness (on my part) and found the house and garden just as we'd left it (slightly neater, if I'm honest!). We invited him to stay on for the duration of his original booking, which he accepted. We got to know him quite well in this time, and I have no hesitation in awarding him a Gold Star - 10/10 - in every department. We have definitely made a new friend!
Rayna was the perfect sitter for my home and cat, Heisenberg, while I was away! She stayed appx 6 weeks and made sure to send lots of photos of him to keep my mind at ease. She was extremely communicative leading up to, and during, the housesit - you could tell it wasn't her first rodeo. When we arrived back home, she had left us a bottle of wine to welcome us back. It was such a thoughtful gesture! We would 10/10 ask Rayna to come back or recommend her to anyone.
