We had a very enjoyable 2 week house sit for Suzanne. She made us feel so welcome right from the start! Suzanne has a beautiful home with amazing sunset views in stunning surroundings, large gardens and plenty of open space. We visited new places and pretty historic towns, and the coast is quite close too. The dogs are truly adorable, well behaved and great fun, a lovely duo, little and large - each with their own different personality.....We loved spending time with them and they happily introduced us to all the countryside walks, literally right outside your gate! Michele - thanks for the great communications throughout, it was a pleasure to meet you and your family and we'd love to return again.
My experience at Castle Cary was wonderful. Catherine and Nick are really friendly and helpful. I left Castle Cary completely in love with Cato, he is protective and friendky. We became great friends. Chickens are routine and easy to care for them. You have fresh egg every morning. The house is beautiful and you have everything you need for be confortable relaxation and connection with nature. Catherine has a large orchard with... raspberries!!! The house is a 10-minute walk away, you have to cross a large open field because some parts have not sidewalk. The house has many walks around it and you also have neighbors nearby, in front. Thank you for all Catherin and Nick!!! :)
Maggie and Millie were sweet and lovable to sit for. Their owners Chase and Bud provided us with all the information we needed to care for their fur babies and for us to have a relaxing stay. If you have the opportunity to sit for the girls and meet Chase and Bud you won’t be disappointed.
Prior to the sit, Susan thoughtfully showed us the house layout and location of everything we'd need while there. She also provided a thorough overview of Coco's routines and our responsibilities, and had printouts with details awaiting our arrival. The house and view overlooking the water are wonderful and Coco couldn't have been better! She quickly warmed to us and enjoyed hanging out in the evenings watching television. For a 17 year old, Coco's quite spry and can easily spring from the floor to the kitchen counter where her treats reside - she provides regular reminders when she'd appreciate another one :). Thoroughly enjoyed the sit and would be happy to return if asked!
It was an absolute treat to look after Molly and Martha in glorious Ambleside. Amanda and Mark are very welcoming and were kind enough to allow us to stay in there award winning B&B accommodation with amazing views in all directions. Walking with the dogs in Ambleside and the nearby lakes and fells was a delight, we dropped on with some sunny weather over the weekend so were able to make the most of long walks with two very well behaved and well trained dogs. We particularly enjoyed the amount of cuddles! Molly and Martha are extremely affectionate and very good company. We would highly recommend this sit if you like walking, hiking and exploring the lake district with two great pooches to lead the way The location is perfect and close to everything that you would need. Amanda and Mark are really helpful and friendly, we would definitely sit again in the future if the opportunity arises x
