We had a great stay in Mansfield. Pippa is a lovely dog. She loved a swim in the dam and chasing anything that moved. She was great company. Julie and Mark have a lovely home with amazing views. They are both generous and welcoming. They gave us a great handover and made us very welcome. We spent our time walking around the farm and exploring the local lakes and mountains. Mansfield has everything you need for food shopping and a good selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants. The month seemed to slip by very quickly. We would definitely house sit for Mark and Julie if the opportunity arose again. If they are looking for sitters, I recommend you put them at the top of your list. Thanks again for having us. Beautiful, spacious, modern home in a charming seaside town. Lydia and Lilliana were playful and easy to care for, Bug lived up to his "Hermit" status and Carly and Jack were very sweet to us and great to cuddle. There were some issues with Carly and Jack getting along, but Priscilla and Will were very responsive and helped us sort the issues out effectively.
It was lovely to experience Fiona, Giovanni’s and their two gorgeous girls mountain home in authentic surroundings. Friendly chickens, fresh eggs and tomatoes in the autumn sun. Thanks for the top restaurant recommendations which we would never have found on our own. We wish them all the very best as their project develops.
We had an incredible housesit for Michael and Cathy! Our hosts were thoughtful, generous, and communicative. It's hard to imagine how anything could have been better. Finn is a very sweet and fun dog who loves to play and romp outside. He loves spending time with people, is well-behaved, and it's so entertaining to watch him play and tear through the woods. Finn needs lots of exercise, just as this posting says; on average we walked about 1.5 miles a day with him. If you are active and love to spend time outdoors, he is practically the perfect dog. It's easy to want to spend time outside, because the property is gorgeous and expansive. We walked the trails through woods and around beaver dams and marshes, cross-country skied in the field, and used the sauna. The house is also so lovely and comfortable, cozy even through winter storms. Most of all, our hosts made the stay wonderful. They cleared space for us, oriented us to the house systems, and checked in on how we were doing frequently. If you get the chance to care for Finn and this house, consider yourself lucky!
What can we say... Everything was amazing! The house is spacious and cozy, the office is a pleasure to work from, the kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, and of course, Sophie and Dora are the cutest things we've sitted for! Both in appearance and personality aswell! They are so sweet and will welcome you with cuddles every time you come back home. Would definetly sit again!
My stay at Stephanie’s wonderful home in Beaconsfield with Lulu was such a delight! Lulu is such a lovely dog and, although a bit nervous, got used to me very quickly and was so easy to look after! She was such lovely company to have around the house. Stephanie’s communication was great and I would highly recommended this sit to any potential Housesitters. You will have a very relaxing time in this amazing and cozy home. I hope to return to look after Lulu again!
