Leah was easy to text with and was flexible with her schedule to help us extend our trip by a day. She sent daily pictures of Choco and took him on walks in the neighborhood. She also cleaned up as she was leaving which is always appreciated.
It was very lucky to meet Inge and Ed’s family. They are welcoming host and great communicators. I was surprised that how they can share lots of things with us and helped a lot. Bella, Lucas and Bobbie are literally lovely and cute. 16yrs Bella is a big girl. She is weak but she has energy when there is a food. She is gorgeous just as she is. Bobbie has very pretty eyes, like a Disney character. And youngest Lucas is just cute. He follows everywhere I go. I could make good rapport with them and super friendly. If is possible, I am ready for 2nd sitting.
Bruce was an absolute delight to look after. We loved our time with him in Jake and Freddy’s beautiful house and garden!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time house sitting at Marta and Andrea's charming residence. Micia proved to be the perfect companion, even participating in a couple of virtual meetings while I managed work from the comfort of their home. Her endearing and gentle nature was a delight; she would engage in friendly conversations when awake. Micia's unique preference for sipping water from the tap added to her character, as did her penchant for basking in the sunlight at her favorite spot on the expansive and delightful balcony garden. This garden boasted not only hanging apples from the tree but also an abundant yield of tomatoes and courgettes. Our house sitting experience here was truly memorable, thanks to the wonderful setting and the delightful company of Micia. Thank you to Marta and Andrea for the invitation. Housesitting for Tom and Joe was perfect. They are really nice couple and we felt very welcomed. House is gorgeous and very comfortable and also going to New York is easy by trem. Communication during all times was easy and they were very responsive if we have any questions. Phoebe is the best of all!!! She took a while to feel comfortable with us but then was pure love. She would sleep with us and follow us everywhere. She really likes to cuddle. She is very energetic and watching her play is a lot of fun. She does have some separation anxiety so we just took her everywhere with us which was very easy since she behave so well when going out and love her drives in the car. We miss her already… We definitely had a good time and would come back anytime!!!
Taking care of Bailey was great! She is such a sweet and gentle girl, and she really seemed to want my company. Danielle left good instructions and had lots of helpful tips to make things smooth. Her apartment is comfortable and tidy. I'd love to sit for Bailey and Danielle again. Recommended sit!
We really loved staying at Alison's farmhouse near Le Villain. Rosco was such a friendly, easy going dog, and very obedient and good company. Alison is such a kind, lovely lady and gave us plenty of information about interesting places to visit, including maps, which we found helpful. There are many interesting villages in the region to explore. Her garden was beautiful, and we enjoyed delicious raspberries, tomatoes and other produce from her garden. The house is full of character, and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio during the evenings, looking out on the beautiful farmland surrounding the house. We would highly recommend this house/pet sit.

This was our first time using Canine Country Retreat. Upon arrival, it was clear to see that the premises were immaculate and the kennels were spacious and very clean. The large enclosed paddock at the rear was ideal for the dogs to be exercised and walked in. Jonathan is dedicated and clearly loves dogs, treating them as his own. The cctv feature was an additional benefit whereby we could log in and see our dog at any time of the day. Our dog Teddy spent 12 days with Jonathan and we would have no hesitation in leaving him with Jonathan again, he was clearly very well taken care of. We highly recommend Canine Country Retreat. Thank you Jonathan for the 5 star service and we will see you again in the future.
I left my Toy Poodle Jackson in Canine Country Retreat for 8 days recently. I would highly recommend the kennels. Jonathan was very caring and interested in Jackson’s welfare. There are 5 individual kennels and they are exceptionally clean. The bedding area is raised, making it cosy and dry. With the live video feed I could see that Jackson was happy out. I will definitely be leaving him with Jonathan again.
Our three dogs (ages 12, 4 and almost 2) stayed with Jonathan for ten days. It was their first time to stay with him. We have had a long and torturous experience with different kennels but on this occasion everything was really positive. Jonathan shows great respect for the dogs in his care by having premises that are spotlessly clean, a great attention to detail in terms of the dogs’ personalities, needs (in our case one of our dogs requires two different oral medications) and comfort. Jonathan communicated clearly and warmly in all our interactions and I could not recommend both him and the care that he provided highly enough.
First class treatment for your dog/s in Jonathan’s care. Kennels are immaculate and it is clear to see Jonathan’s love of dogs and the exceptional high standards to which he looks after them. Numerous daily walks in stunning surroundings and looked after as you would your own dog. I cannot recommend Jonathan more highly enough. We placed our two eight-year old pugs with Jonathan for a week in May. We were delighted with the service and both dogs were extremely well cared for throughout. The facilities are immaculate and Jonathan's warmth and love for animals shines through when you meet him. Fantastic peace of mind to know your dogs are happy and cared. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
Our dog Oscar has stayed twice with Jonathan and I couldn't recommend highly enough. The kennels are spotless, fabulous exercise area and the individual 24hour camera for each dog is a great addition. It is obvious Jonathan loves dogs and gives each dog individual attention as he only keeps a few dogs at each time. Wouldn't want to send Oscar anywhere else from now on.
A big thanks to Johnathan who looked after our dog Boomer so well recently. On meeting Johnathan it's clear to see that he loves dogs and his facilities on site are top notch. He walks and exercises the dogs individually and each dog has their own kennel camera so owners can see how their dog is doing. He was also very helpful in giving us tips for our new puppy. Absolutely fabulous kennels. I was nervous about leaving my two dogs - one being a rescue and Jonathan was very calm and reassuring at drop-off. I could look at them any time via the CCTV camera, and they came back happy, healthy and well cared for. I would highly recommend the Canine Country Retreat.
Our beagle Chester stayed with Jonathan in Canine Country Retreat for two weeks in April 2022. Canine Country Retreat is by far the best boarding kennels we've used. It's clear that Jonathan really loves dogs and he takes extremely good care of them during their stay. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the kennels and also the time that Jonathan took to learn about Chester's behaviour and preferences prior to his stay. Jonathan takes the dogs out individually each day to run in the paddock which was fantastic as Chester is an energetic dog. I have already recommended Canine Country Retreat to family and friends.
Our dog Polly recently stayed with Jonathan at Canine Country Retreat. From the minute we arrived I was so impressed. Jonathan couldn’t have been more helpful and reassuring, the kennels and grounds are spotless. Polly is an old dog and Jonathan looked after her so well. Melissa was such a great help on our wedding day. From the very beginning we knew Alfie would be in good hands. Melissa came out to meet him at our house and Alfie just loved her. She picked him up on the morning of the wedding and brought him to our ceremony, it was so great to have him there and Melissa made it all so seamless. Melissa made Alfie a lovely bow tie and We were provided with great photos throughout the day when we wasn’t with us to ease our mind and know he was behaving! Melissa was absolutely fantastic as the dog sitter for our wedding day. She took such wonderful care of our dog Morris, he seemed so happy and comfortable throughout! Melissa was an absolute DREAM! Our little baby cooper was so well looked after for 3 days over our wedding. She brought him to our ceremony and was the star of the show. She even took little videos and pictures of him that our photographer missed. I couldn’t recommend Petigo enough. Melissa even has her own room which she stays in while the dogs are with her. Melissa minded our little doggy Bailey for 2 days over our wedding! Melissa came to visit Bailey before the big day and Bailey (who can be weird with people) took to Melissa instantly! Melissa brought Bailey along to the wedding for photos and couldn’t have been more helpful assisting in getting the pictures we wanted! Melissa came to look after Ralph during our wedding and we could not have been happier with the service. It was everything we needed and more. She preempted everything that both we and the dog would need. She thought of things that we hadn’t even considered and from the moment she arrived she took charge of the situation and was just like a wedding supplier of dreams. She just knew what was needed without even asking us. She had everything prepared, in case we forgot anything. She was thorough in communication whilst also assuring us once we had given her the info about what our dog needed she just took over from there and we didn’t need to do anything else. I just cannot recommend her enough. She was the most professional and reliable supplier from our whole wedding day and made it easier than we could have imagined. This is how every wedding supplier should be - no nonsense, no fuss and taking the responsibility of the service offered with no pressure on the couple on the day. I would recommend 100 times over, Melissa was so easygoing g an d professional and we were 100% assured our boy was in the best hands and we wouldn’t have looked after or handled him better ourselves.
Melissa looked after our dog for our wedding in Ballymagarvey Village. She was a pleasure to work with and had our dog literally eating out of the palm of her hand! She gave us frequent and regular updates, photos and videos of him to put our minds at ease. She also had the guests well trained so they didn't over excited our dog! Melissa was an absolute wonder! It wouldn’t have been our dream wedding without our cockapoo Bailey being there to join us. He’s really good and loves being part of things but gets nervous when he’s not with us. Melissa completely put him at ease, he was so happy to head off with her on the first evening and when she brought him back for the ceremony he was so well behaved and good for her I was amazed. Melissa has a clear talent for working with dogs, it’s obvious she loves it and if I could do it all again I would. Melissa looked after our dog Charlie whilst we got married in Bellinter House in October. From the outset Melissa was brilliant - a thorough conversation beforehand made us feel that Charlie would be in safe hands. On the day of the wedding Melissa was amazing, she made sure that Charlie wasn't stressed or overwhelmed at any point and had him ready to go for photos with his personalised bow tie! We were so glad to find Melissa to take care of our dog Ceoilí on our wedding day. It meant that Ceoilí could be there for our reception but that we knew he was well looked after during that time and for the evening and overnight. We are very selective about who we will leave our dog with but as soon as we met Melissa at her house, we knew he was in good hands. If I could give 10 stars I would. Melissa was a dream from start to finish. Having our dog at our wedding was so important to us but making sure he was well looked after even more so. Melissa covered both without a bother, the service she provides is incredible. She met Ralph in advance of the big day and let him familiarise himself with her house/ garden. She made the most beautiful bandana for him to wear on the day. Most importantly, she understood how special our dog is to us and treated him like a king for the whole weekend. We would have been lost without her.
Luna stayed here for a full week and she’s had a blast. Gayle takes really good care of all the dogs. You get daily updates on social media where you can see your furry friends enjoying their time with others on the green fields and all the safely fenced areas they have for the dogs. They also do doggy daycare, so there are always dogs so your little one has always some company. I will definitely will bring Luna back.

Great standard of care. Amazing grounds and facilities. Gayle is treating every dog as part of her family. It is home away from home type of care. I wouldn't leave my dogs anywhere else. My 3 dogs, 2 labradors and collie cross stayed with Gayle for 14 nights while we were away on holidays and Gayle took great care of them and provided me updates and photos via WhatsApp . One of my dogs has few phobias, like not being able to walk on tile floors and Gayle always trying to make his stay comfortable by using throws on the floor. Highly recommend.

Our dog Bailey suffered from anxiety due to being attacked, our dog trainer didn't work but taking our dogs to Bridle House Hounds has really helped. Both our dogs have a great time and we now take them once/twice a week. Highly recommended.

I left my dog Milo with Mark and Suzanna for a 3 night stay. He is a recently rehomed rescue dog and is a bit reactive to other dogs. They were amazing in how they adapted for him and he really bonded with Mark and went everywhere with him. They really love and care for the dogs. It is such peace of mind knowing how well your dog is looked after. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.
We left our 7 month old puppy at chasing tails for 2 weeks. It was a long time to be away from him but the kids loved getting regular updates on how he was doing and I got the sense that they had got to know our dog and his personality really well. We particularly loved the photos of him playing with other dogs in the paddock. It just felt like he was getting a better experience that other boarding kennels. Suzanna and Mark are a lovely couple and I hope the business goes really well for them. We’ll be back
I recently left my dog with Suzanna and Mark while I was away for two weeks. They were brilliant and have a top class facility with kennels and a large secured pen area. Suzanna sent me updates and photos which was very thoughtful. They also made the effort to get to know what my dog preferred to play with or their normal routine. I recently left my dog with Suzanna and Mark while I was away for a week. Buster was a puppy of nearly a year and it was his first time being away from us for an extended period. Suzanna and Mark invited us in to see the kennels and brought us on a tour of the play areas where the dogs would be looked after. When we returned Buster was in really good form! We could tell that he had been given lots of attention and had time to play and grow with other dogs. We have booked in for an other stay soon!
Our pup was delighted to be at chasing tails for both doggy day care and overnight boarding. We're just delighted to have her looked after so well. Think she's happy to be home too ☺️

I went to Rabbit Rooms for bonding services when my rescue rabbits began fighting. As a novice bunny owner I felt very out of my depth and anxious of how to best help my buns. Fiona has been a fantastic resource and support throughout the process. I couldn't speak highly enough of the care, understanding and guidance given. Following her directions I was able to adapt to give Hiccups & Bob the best set up to preserve their bond. Often information available online relates to caring for a single bunny, bonded bunnies might require a somewhat different approach. I went from feeling like I would have to re-home one of my boys, to seeing them the happiest they'd ever been. If you can give your rabbits this chance at rebonding please do because you never know what can be achieved with the right support. Hiccups and Bob are now living their best lives thanks to Fiona 🙂
Fiona was wonderful. Amazing with rabbits and helped me through the whole bonding process with my 2 bunnies. I would highly recommend this business for any rabbit needs including bonding rabbits so they can live together happily, and boarding if you are going away, fiona will look after your rabbits as if they were your own!
Rocco, our dwarf rabbit, was back for his hols in the Rabbit Rooms Small Animal Boarding.again last week. Fiona and her lovely family couldn’t have been kinder, giving advice before about what to bring to help Rocco settle, doing a good groom and nail clip for Rocco and sending photos and texts to let us know he was well. It’s a pleasure to do business with The Rabbit Rooms and with Fiona and her family. Rocco will be back in his fave rabbit hotel again in July. And Rocco spent two weeks in the Rabbit Rooms in July/August 2024. He is always relaxed going to Fiona’s and come back in great shape. Very happy with the time and attention she gives him and with her extensive knowledge of all things bunny!
Fiona is amazing at her job! We had a few issues before trying to find a second bunny to bond with our rabbit. After we found a rescue rabbit that we fell in love with we really wanted to take him home but had concerns as we would be attempting to bond two males. Nearly everyone told us this cannot be done and it’s very rare if it is. When we brought our second rabbit home they didn’t really get along, we were so desperate to make it work so we took them to Fiona to get bonded, to our surprise when we went to collect them after their bonding time was up they were cuddling in the one carrier together!! they’re now inseparable and we couldn’t be happier we chose Fiona to do it for us. Seriously changed our lives and certainly Richards (our first rabbit) who was in serious need of company and Lionel who we took in from a rescue who needed a brother to play and cuddle with. I seriously cannot recommend fiona enough! Now instead of separate play times and cages to separate them, they run around together all day and can play and sleep together, it’s heart warming to see them both so happy in each others company.
If you're contemplating sending your bunnies for bonding with Fiona, do not hesitate, because you will not regret it, she is brilliant! She is honestly a Rabbit expert. She bonded our two female buns for us and we couldn't be more grateful. To see them now, the best of friends snuggling, is something I did not think was possible as we had some fights in the past. Fiona works miracles and is not only a rabbit therapist but a human one too because she will reassure you through the whole process! We needed Fionas help because Bonnie was a rescue bun, aggressive and fearful of other rabbits. We thought we made a mistake getting a second rabbit because they would attack each other through the cage. Fiona was able to work her magic and they are now inseparable! Our Bunnies have stayed with Fiona and family for several years now. We'd never cope without her. They are elderly bunnies at this stage and we know when we leave them with Fiona that they are in expert hands. She loves and cares for them as we do. Brownie (11yrs) was a bit 'off' this Summer and Fiona was quick to act. She was great with administering medication and seeking advice from our fantastic vet at Palmerstown Veterinary. It was a tough Summer with the heat at The Rabbit Rooms I'm sure, but Fiona and her fabulous team went to great lengths and kept their visitors cool. Thank you Godmother Fiona! xxx Brownie & Oreo
Toffee our pet rabbit was so well cared for and enjoyed his first stay at The Rabbit Rooms. He was in the company of lots of other rabbits,hamsters and guinea pigs which I wad told appealed to him and he showed great interest in these other furry friends. I am already thinking of prebooking him over the Christmas period. I would highly recommend The Rabbit Rooms for boarding your pet.
I was so delighted with The Rabbit Rooms. I had been nervous to leave my bunny anywhere for two weeks, but Fiona completely put my mind at ease. She sent me regular updates on him including photos of when he’d be spending some (supervised) time out in the garden, and he even got a pamper session while he was there! Will definitely be using The Rabbit Rooms again.
We have used the rabbit rooms a couple of times already and cannot recommend it enough! Fiona is really great with them and they come back very happy and stress free. The online booking system is really handy to see availability and the online portal gives the chance to give any needed information about your pets! Fiona was incredible all the way through with our three bunnies. Chaos and Tiny, both male and Penelope, our female, went in to fiona to be bonded. After just four days of intense work with Fiona, our two males who used to fight regularly are grooming and sleeping beside each other. All three bunnies are loving each other’s company and none of this was possible without Fiona. Great communication all the way though as well as easy, clear instruction for when you pick them up and take them home. Drop off and pick up was as easy as could be. Can’t recommend Fiona’s service enough. 10/10.
My dog was in no hurry to leave the kennel. The only true sign you'll ever have that your dog was well looked after
We have been using Vessington Boarding Kennels for the last 2 years for our dog. We have found David and the staff very friendly and easy to deal with. Our dog loves it here and he is always well looked after. I check in with David from time to time to see how our dog is doing and he gives me an update followed by pictures. We have used Vesington Boarding Kennels for the last 5 years. Our dog really enjoys her stays here She jumps out of the car when we arrive and is delighted to see David and team. They are extremely accommodating and always finds a spot for her at short notice. We leave her in the kennels for long stays over the summer and other holidays and she is treated like a family dog when there. Vesingto Boarding Kennels is a great service to have locally
First time using Vestington kennels as our usual boarding service was fully booked. When collecting dogs there was no one there at the kennels supervising the dogs, anyone could of been hanging around and would of had free reign to steal dogs.Both dogs were extremely thirsty and drank an excessive amount of water on the way home which was concerning. Their beds were given back to us absolutely filthy. Staff member (which we had to go and find after a call to the owner, who was out on the main road cutting the grass wearing headphones) didn’t seem sure which belonging were belonging to our dogs. We usually use the DSPCA for boarding and they always come out happy from there, we could tell they were not happy when collected from vestington kennels so will be using this service again. I would not recommend leaving dogs here, very poorly run, conditions are not dog friendly and the kennels are absolutely filthy.
Should be ashamed of themselves!!! They LOST a poor little pet that someone trusted them to mind, poor dog is over a week missing now, they won't even help to try and find him. Volunteers out looking for him asked if they could park up outside with some food to try and attract this poor little pet and they refused saying it would attract vermin! It's YOUR fault the poor little dog is missing, think the only vermin around is YOU!!!!! Disgraceful place, wouldn't trust them minding any pet, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR FURBABIES WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!! 😡😡😡
I've been bringing dogs to Vesingtown for more than ten years. All of my dogs have come back happy from their visits. All my family and inlaws have brought their dogs there also. Everyone seems to think the dogs have a great time. Well done to the Bruton family who have run the place for years.

Gorgeously situated kennels, great condition. Clearly care for the dogs enormously. I'd be quite fussy about where I'd board my dog but I would use this service again in a heartbeat.
If my dog is happy, then I'm happy.... and here at Vesington she cant wait to go in... I think she's disappointed when I have to pick her up... loves seeing the other dogs...
Thanks to Amie for minding our 1.5yr old German Shepherd. She was fed her usual food and we got regular updates. Nothing was ever too much bother - would highly recommend. Thanks again Amie.
Dropped my dog off for a week from 04.08.24 to 11.08.24. We arrived a little later than planned back to Dublin. I text and said I'd ran late and would have to pick him up today 12.04.24 and this was not a problem. From the second I pulled up I knew John was special, he'd so much time to chat and play with Marley. They document every detail you give them about your dog. For example there was a clip board outside each individual kennel with the dogs name and your number and "may escape" "loves his toy" etc. So cute. Marley was in great form coming home ❤️ Would highly recommend.

I would 100 percent recommend delvin kennels. My Max is a Belgian Malinois and a bit crazy 😂 which not many kennels out there will even consider minding him and to be fair I have not had a night away from him in nearly 3 years for tat reason and I was nervous of leaving him to, until delvin kennels especially Amie from the moment I brought max to her I knew I had nothing to worry about and trust me I didn’t my max absolutely loved her. I got pictures and videos which helped me so much while been away as I could see how much fun he was having. This is definitely Max’s new second home 😂💙
When I collected my dog after he stayed there for 8 days he was very quiet. All day was very apathetic and would not eat. I have spoken with the owner trying to find out how was my dog feeling during the stay and if he was eating ok. The owner got very defensive, no compassion whatsoever, he told me he was perfect during the stay. I took my dog to the vet the day after I collected him. He was very sick- dying. Sir, I think you should consider change of profession if you cannot defer sick dog from perfect.

They took really good care of my Dog. He is an inside spoilt doggy, and they really minded him. Sent me videos of him and I've have no issue leaving him there again :)
I would recommend Delvin Kennels. They take excellent care of my Dalmatian puppy. They pick her up and bring her back, which is the best service! They take excellent care of her when my female dog is in heat, and I don’t have to worry about a thing. The food is healthy, pure food like chicken or tuna, which my dog loves. In my opinion, they are real dog people, who have a big heart for their dogs.
I've been using Domnal's kennels regularly for the past few years for our border collie. I'm absolutely delighted with the service and have absolute trust in the level of care I know he gets. Our dog is always happy to get there and clearly loves Domnal as he jumps all over him when we arrive. The facilities are great and very well kept. Domnal himself is an absolute gent, as sound as they come and always very accomodating. Our 2 Yr old even calls him "the nice man from wow wow house". I've recommended him to friends and neighbours already and would recommend him to everyone else.
Glenda looked after our Labrador Millie for 3 weeks while myself and my husband got married and went on our honeymoon. Millie was well looked after and you could tell when picking her up that she adored Glenda and would miss her! Glenda also shares pictures on Instagram so it was nice to see how Millie was doing when we were away. Would highly recommend 😊
My dogs 🐕 love going here ! Glenda is super welcoming & friendly. They love the surrounds and walks & playing and making new friends 😊. They get excited as soon as we arrive at the gate !. Would highly recommend 👌, such peace of mind leaving my girls with genuine animal lovers ❤️
