We thoroughly enjoyed our time sitting for Amanda and Luis and of course caring for the adorable easy going Lola! We felt very welcome and they could not have done more for us to make us feel comfortable and to assist us with our travel arrangements to and from the sit. They showed us great hospitality and invited us to spend time with them as though we had been long friends, it was just a shame we had been unable to spend more time here and would love to have stayed longer. The house is private has everything you need and a great pool which we used everyday...night and day! It was lovely to swim in the warm evenings and we enjoyed our dogs walks for sunrise on the beach most days. Lola is an old girl now but still has great bursts of energy and loves her walks, she is great on the lead and was no trouble at all. The house is situated in a great part of Phuket away from the more touristy areas and close to fabulous beaches, national park and shops and restaurants. We had the use of a car which was very much appreciated and a great help. We would highly recommend this sit and hope to stay in contact with these guys into the future. Lovely owners, amazing house and beautiful island, and adorable dogs and cat ! Gus and Gracie love to play fetch on the field and on the beach, and Gus loves long, sporty hikes. Finny the cat started joining us on our daily dog walks too, and loved to snuggle in bed with me, as did Gus. Gracie is a little more reserved but very sweet. Both are very obedient dogs. The owners left the house very clean for me and a lot of yummy food for my stay, which was a nice gesture. Highly recommend for active pet-sitters looking to spend a lot of time outdoors! Bowen is a wonderful place if you like a secluded, quiet, and scenic island with fantastic views!
We really enjoyed looking after Beast and Bugs at Claire's home. Beast is an angel, such a sweet soul. Bugs is pretty independent, but enjoys a little interaction now and then. Claire was very easygoing to communicate with, before and during the trip. The house is very well located, very centric, it was very clean and organized when we arrived. Claire also left us a paper with Bugs and Beast's routines instructions. We'd be happy to return for another sit in the future. Thank you for the experience!
This was such a fantastic sit. I was just looking after Ella this time, and she’s a total sweetie. An absolutely lovely cat that doesn’t ask for much apart from cuddles. She loved walking along the back of the sofa and sitting behind my head while I worked. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures, and it’s very cosy and welcoming. Sarah was fantastic when it came to communication. I was shown around the apartment at the start of the sit, and she was always there for questions. She was very kind and considerate during the sit. The area is just incredible, very vibrant. It’s a five minute walk to a large shop and lots of restaurants, very good connections into the main city. It’s a fifteen minute walk to the ocean, and I fell in love with Pacific Spirit Regional Park, which is a two minute walk away. There are hours and hours of paths through stunning forests, and the weather was great during my stay. Ella is a fantastic companion, and I highly recommend this sit!
What a fabulous dog house sit in the breathtaking Peak District with incredible hosts Cassandra and Alan and the incredible dog Eddy who we bonded with immediately. Cassa and Alan have a beautiful spacious home and are very generous. We had a lovely meal the night before and went for a walk in the beautiful countryside with Eddy, getting to know him and understanding his needs. Eddy is a very refined noble being, sensitive and will tell you very clearly what he wants. What was great is we worked together with Cassa and Alan to tailor to the needs of Eddy which made for a happy dog and happy Sitters. If you ever needed us again we would love to sit for the Master Eddy.
Such wonderful pets and a sweet family! I loved being there and getting to know all their personalities: each pet is such a character! Both cats were absolute heart warmers and Rudy the dog was a blissful firecracker, always ready to play and go on adventures. Lauren also was organized, clear and a joy to communicate with.
