Judith was great! She was great with communication and sent pictures of the kitties throughout the sit so I knew they were all doing ok. She left the home super clean and the kitties barely cared when I got home so I know they were happy with her. I would absolutely recommend Judith!

Peace; quiet; a lovely house set amidst the trees; two beautiful cats; and Lucy - sweet, cuddly, and gentle Lucy. Nice owners too :-)! We loved every minute of our sit.
Pat was prompt in responding to our initial application and, once selected, gave us detailed instructions for the care of the pets and house, as well as lots of suggestions for places to eat, trails to walk, stores nearby, places of interest, etc. She also quickly answered additional questions and requests for recommendations we had.

I had a great time sitting Bandit, Buddy and the bunnies. Caitriona and her family were very welcoming and relaxed. I truly enjoyed my time in Leatherhead!

I had a wonderful stay at Pam's house in the Mayenne. Pam made me a much appreciated meal upon my arrival and we had a couple of days to go over the care for the 3 beautiful horses, Winnie, Ruby and Millie. Pam was extremely welcoming and even introduced me to some of her friends to make my stay even more comfortable. I stayed in one of the gites on the property, which had a great bed, a wonderful kitchen and a brand new terrace looking out on to the pasture and countryside in the distance. I spent about an hour both in the morning and in the evening tending to the horses and then had the rest of the day free to cycle and explore the beautiful countryside. Pam was very patient with me in going over the care and feeding of the horses and when we talked while she was away she always asked if there was anything she could do my make my stay more comfortable. Pam is a great person and anyone looking for a rural stay in northern France who loves all things horses would enjoy this trusted house sit.

Sue & Erin are the most amazing hosts & Josie is the most adorable kitty… She’s experienced enough with her owners or sitters to let you know what she wants, when she wants it and happy about her place in life!!
A wonderful brief sit in a welcoming home for people that really care about fur-babies!
If you’re lucky enough to have a stay in this lovely place with the most beautiful kitty and the kindest hosts - jump at the chance. I hope to have the chance to take care of sweet Josie again!

Emma and Ian have a lovely house with large gardens in an edge of village location adjoining open fields and with fabulous views towards the Howardian Hills. Sheriff Hutton is a small friendly village where everyone says hello, and has an excellent local Post Office/general store and deli/cafe. There are lots of footpaths around the village, including a circular walk around the castle ruins. It’s best to bring wellies when it is wet as the field paths can be muddy.
The mother and daughter Labradors Brenna and Maya are a delight. Friendly with dogs and humans alike, and very good on or off the lead. Brenna loves food and fetching a tennis ball. She prefers a quiet life befitting her years. Maya is a big softy who seeks more affection and enjoys a cuddle and belly rubs. She will happily engage in play fighting with Maggie or other dogs and is very tolerant when Maggie steals all her toys.
Maggie is a feisty Dachshund/terrier cross, both adorable and cheeky, a real character. She is very affectionate and loves to sit on your lap and give you licks. She has to be kept on a lead outside at all times as she will run off and chase birds in the local fields for hours if she slips the lead and will only return once she has had enough fun (top tip is to use the purple head harness lead to stop her pulling). She is reactive to birds and will bark at animals on the TV, although when she meets dogs outside she is very friendly. She is fond of her own voice (bark!) and is a sweetheart but does need strong direction to manage her quirks.
We had a great twelve nights in Sheriff Hutton and loved all three dogs, so would happliy recommend this house sit.
