Eva and Darlene were great! They are very nice folks. From the moment we met them we got along great! They treated our pets so well and did a great job! Our dog Xeus cut his paw open the day before the sit started, so the sit was a little more complicated than it was supposed to be (sorry!). However, they took it in stride and took great care of him! I took him to the vet and got him settled before the sit started, but they had to take him to the vet again after he developed an infection in his paw. Our pups enjoyed them and everyone got along great! When we returned home our house was cleaner than we left it and Xeus was healthy. I would recommend Eva and Darlene and would use them again!
This is a dream dog and house sit in the English countryside…..it doesn’t get much better than this! Bailey and Nell are the most adorable, affectionate, and easy going Labradors that you could hope to care for…..we miss you guys! 💕 Bridget and Sean are amazingly generous hosts. We stayed the night before and after the sit and they took us out for dinner and drinks at the local village hall on the first night to watch the England vs Spain football match, we had a great time, if only England had won. 😪 We got on fabulously, it felt as though we had been friends for years! They have an open invitation to visit us anytime in New Zealand as VIP guests! Trickle Cottage is full of character, very comfortable, and has lovely gardens and outdoor living areas.…..we loved the fresh raspberries! It is a great location for trips throughout Shropshire and Staffordshire with numerous nearby historic towns such as Shrewsbury and Ironbridge, plus other attractions such as Blists Hill Victorian Village and Boscobel House (home of the famous Royal Oak tree that was the hiding place of King Charles II). We would highly recommend house and dog sitting for Bridget and Sean. If only we could give more than 5 stars! 🌟
Very lucky are the sitters chosen to look after this beautiful property and sweet, little Scout. We didn’t look after Scout as she went on holiday with her family but we were able to meet and play with her and take her for a couple of walks. She slept with us on our last night which pleased us immensely. Avril, Siggi and Anna are a generous and friendly family who treated us like friends not strangers when we arrived. They couldn’t have done more for us and we were able to spend some more time with them when they returned. Jersey is a lovely island, so much variety. Maybe not for those nervous of driving through narrow lanes though. We certainly hope to return as and when possible. Thank you all so much for choosing us.
Melanie & Andrew were great hosts! They provided excellent communication and instructions. Their home is beautiful, very clean and their mattress is just heaven on Earth haha Aoife & Finn were really fun to look after! Aoife is a cute shy lady and needed her time to warm up to us but Finn was a cuddle buddy since the beginning:) We had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend!❤️ PS: sorry for the delay, life got busy!?
Alice was extremely easy to communicate with and her home is lovely with a pretty garden.Very good public transport as well as close to cafes, restaurants etc. Bernard & Manny were an absolute joy, low maintenance, playful and very affectionate (especially Bernard 😀), who we would have easily adopted! We had a lot of fun and the sit was very relaxing. Thanks for having us Alice.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week sit in Sidney, British Columbia and caring for sweet girl, Monty, the 14 year old cat. We easily administered thyroid medication to Monty. Delia and Bob’s home was comfortable and well appointed with everything necessary to enjoy our time there. We enjoyed the outdoor patios front and back and were able to take Monty outside with her harness. Biking, walking, kayaking and golfing were readily assessable. Communication was easy with questions answered promptly. I absolutely loved Delia’s gardens, especially the dahlias and roses. Would definitely recommend this sit. Wendy and Stu
I had the most magical and peaceful week with sweet Tiggy. Louise's home was beautiful and her communication was brilliant and everything was in place for me to feel at home. Tiggy is a sweet calm and very talkative kitty and was great company. I wouldn't hesitate to look after her and Louise's stunning home again. Thank you for trusting me ☺️✨
