Jesse was a great dog and housesitter. Phife was a happy pup when we returned home, and the house was as neat as when we had left it. He was great with communication before and during his trip. We had a couple of concerns with some travel delays because of the weather, and Jesse was so great to keep us updated about his flight schedule and any delays. Luckily, everything was on time and we had the pleasure to meet with Jesse the night before we left for our trip. We would gladly have him back!
Vanissar was a kind, communicative, and reliable housesitter. She asked a lot of questions leading up to the housesit and followed my instructions and requests very carefully. My cats seemed calm and well cared for when I came home from my three week trip. I was able to relax on my trip knowing that Vanissar was holding down the fort.
This was such a lovely experience. Justin was a great communicator all through the process and it was a huge plus that I got to meet him and his partner before the sit to connect and get the full rundown . The kitties were so lovely, I did fall in love with them over the time period and judging from our time spent napping and sleeping together I would guess they felt comfortable with me too. I would highly recommend this sit and the location was so lovely too.
What can we say, getting to hang out with Kimchi and Soju was a joy! Oh yeah, their parents aren’t bad either lol. Great communication through the run up and during the sit. We arrived just before their departure and met the dogs as well as having a tour of their lovely home. We felt welcomed and comfortable - I (Pier) slept so well in that bed! The pups were so cute, fun and funny. The first evening they had a tricky time, but adjusted to us as time went on. Kimchi had a more difficult time and we felt she was a bit anxious throughout - sometimes wanting more TLC and sometimes none at all. Just give them little cuddles whenever they want it and all will be well. Tip - take a sticky lint roller with you. Their fur is soft and beautiful but sheds a lot, so the lint roller definitely helped! Overall, a wonderful experience and in such a nice area. We highly recommend applying for this sit :)
The home was beautiful and Carol was so kind. This was my first time house sitting through trusted house sitters, and it couldn’t have been smoother. The location was also fabulous, very close to the shops and bus station.
I had a wonderful three weeks in Brighton caring for Catherine and Marc's beautiful home and the cute and feisty Zoe. The house is in the best location, a short walk to the Brighton shops and cafes and train into Melbourne, and right next to the beach with the possibility of walking for miles along the seafront. Catherine and Marc could not have been more welcoming and I felt right at home. As they were away at Christmas time they left me a beautiful hamper of gourmet goodies which I really appreciated and enjoyed. Zoe took a day or two to decide that I was an acceptable intruder ( aka supplier of food and water!) and we became good friends and had great chats! She'a a very communicative cat. :) I loved my time there and would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Catherine, Marc and Zoe.
Lovely quirky cottage with a veritable zoo of farm animals in the rescue centre next door. One very friendly cat and three more who though shy, did show their faces to us eventually. Easy drive to Tonbridge with good train links to London.
We loved spending time with these wonderful animals! Some of the sweetest and gentlest animals we have met on our travels. Jhon was my main contact and he was always available for questions and checking in. The house and processes are really well organized, and everything is well-stocked for the pets, which helped us feel supported during our time there. They are located just 5 minutes from downtown Walnut Creek, also with easy freeway access, but it feels away from it all at the house. Thanks for having us!
