I really enjoyed this sit. Liz’s place is comfortable and her cats are super easy, cute and sweet. I loved sitting on the balcony looking at Mt. Tam and hiking the Tiburon Ridge Trail (some of the best views in the bay) right behind her apartment. I enjoyed my communication with Liz too, she’s great. Highly recommend this sit.
A wonderful week in Dorset - could not have wished for better. Matthew and Claire are warm and welcoming hosts. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and lovely evening together, the night before their departure, then kept in touch during the sit, with photos and messages. Rooney and Vinnie are a joy to be around. Both have lovely personalities and are very entertaining. We enjoyed our time with them greatly, walking in the surrounding countryside, playing in the garden and just 'hanging out' in the house. The hens were fun to care for too and our children enjoyed collecting freshly laid eggs each day. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The gardens are beautiful too, with a huge variety of fruits and vegetables, which we were generously encouraged to enjoy. The local area is lovely and we also had the pleasure of meeting several of Matthew and Claire's acquaintances and neighbours during the sit. We're grateful to have been chosen and wouldn't hesitate to house-sit for Matthew and Claire again.
We thoroughly enjoyed looking after Jedda and Loui as well as the intriguing collection of aquatic creatures. It's not every day that you get to observe cherry shrimp going about their daily underwater business through a magnifying glass! Jedda is the most gorgeous dog, extremely intelligent, sensitive and very attuned to everything that was going on. Loui is the cutest little fellow with a strong sense of his own self importance which we found very entertaining. Both dogs are very affectionate, well trained and obedient and Ken's excellent notes explain everything you need to know about managing the two of them. Ken and Brooke's lovely home is in a small secluded estate in a quiet part of Canberra with close proximity to plenty of walking tracks, open spaces and at the same time handy to multiple shopping precincts. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there. Thank you Ken and Brooke.
The house and location - lovely. Rocky was a lot a lot of fun, esp on walks! Great communication and l was well- prepped, understanding Rocky's needs and preferences. We really enjoyed our time there, and loved the setting, proximity to nature, and to Cambridge. A really wonderful pet and house sitting experience.
Roger and Cara proved to be exceptional hosts! Their communication skills were outstanding, and they were consistently available to assist with any queries. Their home is truly remarkable, exuding warmth and coziness. The location is fantastic, 10-20 minute walk, you can find grocery stores and coffee shops. However, the real treasures of this experience were Jack Lemmon and Zoey. Jack's playful nature and youthful kitten energy made him a delightful companion throughout the week. He was curious and loved snuggling. Zoey, the elder cat, maintained her independence for most of the week, but the few interactions I had with her were incredibly heartwarming. Given the chance, I wholeheartedly recommend the experience of pet sitting for them.
Rosie are Richard are absolutely lovely, and so are there two dogs (Pandy and Monkey) and two Guinea pigs (Sugar and Peanut). Their house is lovely too and we felt right at home for the duration of our stay.
