We had a wonderful stay in Hinton, with these three gorgeous pups! We loved every minute, from the couch cuddles, to the neighbourhood walks, to playing endless fetch with Lucy. Host Torrie was so welcoming and easygoing, which really helped us feel comfortable and at home. The house is clean and tidy, with a King-sized bed in the basement that was super comfortable! We would happily stay here again, and will miss our new furry friends very much!!
I had a fantastic time sitting for Catherine, who is very organised and provided a very informative "information pack" which left no questions unanswered. Willow is a real lady, and Loyld well he is a very handsome dude, and I think he knows it!! They were both very playful, and you can see they are real pals, and not a bother to look after. Catherine's home is beautiful and so homely, and in a perfect setting, less than a 2 min walk to the village, which has everything you could need, and yet when standing in the back garden you felt you were in the middle of the countryside! It's a perfect location for visiting Connemara and the stunning coast. Grab an opportunity to sit here, as you won't be disappointed especially with the company or the location! Would love to return again, soon!
Jillian and Kens idealic cabin set over the water was just what we expected and Larry, the Wonder dog, was a pleasure to care care. Jillian was thorough in her instructions re: both home and pet care and was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. During our time there, although the outside temps were high ( 90s), their cabin remained cool and comfortable. The favorite area to relax was their back deck area where one could take a lazy afternoon nap or just watch and listen to the water below. Larry is a great dog who took to us right away. He is full of energy but likes to give snuggles as well. He kept us well exercised with at least 2 walks and play times at the dog park and beach each day. He was good with commands and, of course, loved treats as a reward. One must be ready and able to make the trek up the hill, either by stairs or trail, to get to the dog park but it is worth it for Larry as well as the sitter(s). His favorite pastime is playing with his buddies at the dog park. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jillian and Ken’s with Larry and found it to be a beautiful and unique experience on so many accounts. Larry is a well known character in the neighborhood and will quickly steal your heart. Thank you Jillian and Ken for sharing your place and pup with us. Stephanie and Dan
