I spent 10 days over New Year in Mayumi and Gustavo’s comfortable apartment in San Antonio, minding Nina. Mayumi kindly picked me up from the airport and showed me the local area, the apartment facilities, and explained Nina’s food and litter required before leaving for holiday. Mayumi and I had regular communication both before and during my stay and all questions were answered fully and promptly. Nina was a delight, extremely affectionate and loved attention. We easily and quickly established a routine. It was a pleasure to meet Mayumi, Gustavo and Nina.
We had a great holiday in London sitting for Bianca’s and Merlin’s cat Theo. We kept in touch with them long before we arrived and received a warm welcome from Bianca, they are genuinely lovely young couple - staying in their comfortable flat and taking care of Theo was a real pleasure. He became more and more playful during the days and was easy to handle - he soon stole our hearts. We had a friendly communication channel with Bianca and Merlin, they were very helpful, gave us detailed instructions about their flat and also traffic and places where to have meals. Thank you very much for having us! We would definitely recommend you to somebody who would like to sit for Theo next time:-) Vera and Ben

An amazing stay! Belle is a shy floof with a sweet tendency. She pops in to say hello whenever she wants some attention and then goes along her merry way. Hilary was just as sweet and easy to communicate with. Her home is in a great location within walking distance to many bus stops and beaches. We loved our stay and would definitely come sit for them again 🐱💐
I recently had the pleasure of house sitting for Courtney and caring for her wonderful cat, Brandy. We met beforehand and Courtney was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the entire process easy. Courtney went out of her way to ensure I was well-prepared and comfortable. She provided a tour of her home, detailed instructions on how everything worked, and useful notes. Being able to get hold of her easily throughout the sit was greatly appreciated. Looking after Brandy was a joy. She is gentle, affectionate, and engaging. Brandy enjoyed spending time with me, whether it was playing with her favorite toys or curling up on my lap/on the bed for a nap. Her endearing nature and sweet demeanor made her a wonderful companion. Courtney's home is incredibly cosy, tidy and welcoming, with a lovely garden that adds to its charm which I spent most mornings sat out in. The home is situated in a great area with everything you need only minutes away. Thank you, Courtney, for a fantastic house sitting experience. Your made my stay enjoyable and stress-free. Wow! What a great sit! As we prepared for this sit, Aracelis provided us ahead of time, with ample instructions and a video for feeding and preparing and administering medications for their kitties. When we arrived, Aracelis was kind enough to go over the medication prep process with me, as I admitted that I had not actually seen the video but my partner had. Aracelis and Taylor are a very polite and friendly couple. They have three lovely quiet kitties. "Luna" liked to hang around me while I was cooking or cleaning. "Little One"" rested just out of reach on the heated radiator, and Sol" is like a beautiful queen She s friendly too but on her terms. All 3 of these lovely ladies warmed up to us, allowing us to pet them and coming to us to purr or talk. Aracelis and Taylor keep a home that is absolutely lovely, well appointed, sparkling clean , and delightfully charming. The neighbourhood is safe and friendly and the location is easy to get to. They even left a nice unexpected welcome / thank you gift. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this sit. Cyn and Darren

My dog Duffy has been cared for by Montgomery Pet Sitters since we brought him home in 2014. We have used their weekly walking service, boarding and evening/weekend walks when we would be gone for a long time. Although Duffy generally loves everyone he meets, Montgomery Pet Sitter's long time employee and manager, Kris-is Duffy's most favorite human....ever. It really helps knowing that Duffy will see his favorite person and that the feeling is mutual. Kris goes out of her way to take special care of Duffy, and that makes me feel relieved and comfortable knowing he is being well taken care of. I highly recommend this company and they have really been there for us.
Montgomery Pet Sitters are loving and professional. My senior dog can’t walk very far, so they take him from his stroll. I like the extra care they give to my senior furbaby. I know he is pampered and always safe.
Bella is a sweet, older dog who is very discerning about people and unaccustomed to being without family members. She is usually wary of new people who walk her, but from the moment she met Kris- she was comfortable, anxious to go with her, and very happy to see her on subsequent visits. Kris is terrific about last minute walks, squeezing us in with little notice. She is so reliable, even braving winter weather for walks. We highly recommend her!
I am extremely appreciative of David and Montgomery Pet Sitters for taking care of my cats. I had hired Montgomery Pet Sitters to take care of my cats for two days over Christmas. Unfortunately my return plans were ruined during the Southwest Airlines debacle. I ended up getting stranded in Texas and was not able to get a return flight until three days later. 100/10 I cannot recommend On Call enough! I was always hesitant to leave my cat because he’s geriatric and requires medicine twice a day, but one meeting with Steven and Marly and we were good to go! They’re incredibly attentive, send me lots of updates (because I’m an anxious pet parent), and truly care for my cat while giving him everything he needs. I always recommend them to anyone in need of pet sitting services and will always reach out to them for as long as I live in Montgomery County!

This is an outstanding Petsitting Company. I contacted them after an injury and they were able to respond and walk my dog that day. The dog walkers always arrived promptly or even early and communicated when they were on their way here. They were never late. And my dog Sasha just loved them. My previous dog walking service left me with no service at a last minute notice, Not realizing I needed a backup my sister found On call pet sitting. They quickly did a meet and greet with my puppy dog and I had service the same week. There is great communication between the dog Walker and myself and a group text. Payment is easy. I do not have to worry about a last minute no dog Walker as I have a backup already in place. I use them on a regularly basis. Give them a call your Fur baby will be happy.
Desperate for pet care with less than a week before an extended family vacation, I contacted Stephen. He responded promptly and we were able to set up a meet-and-greet quickly. We had never used a pet sitting service before and were anxious about having a stranger taking care of our fur babies, but Stephen and Carla put us at ease right away. Carla's regular updates were super comforting and she included fantastic pics! My only concern is that now I think the pets like Carla more than us...😉
I used the in-home pet sitting service for my cat, scheduled through Steven with Antonio as my pet sitter. They both met me prior to the scheduled dates for a meet and greet, and during the scheduled pet sitting days, Antonio texted updates and photos for each visit. Very convenient service at a fair and competitive price, with reliable communication - definitely recommended.

What a HUGE blessing Pooches Park has been for me but most importantly for my sweet & extraordinarily energetic pooch Zoe!! Am so grateful for all that she gets every weekday & the several times she’s stayed overnight. MJ is professional, dedicated & very knowledgeable about dogs & has often given me some great advice re: various issues that have come up w/ Zoe. I was at my wits end after visiting several other so-called doggie daycares last Fall until we went to Pooches Park which is the real deal! I looked no further & nobody else should either!! Zoe is such a happy, happy girl after a day there not to mention completely exhausted which says a lot!! If Zoe is happy then I’m happy! Don’t know what Zoe or I would do w/out Pooches Park. It’s a large, safe, awesome, well maintained outdoor area that offers very fair prices & lots of fun for your beloved pooch who will make some endearing friends!
We're very glad we found Pooches Park in Boyds. Our 5-year-old rescue, Gabbie, absolutely enjoys spending time there. She loves running around and playing with the other dogs in the big, beautiful backyard. We've had a great experience so far and will continue to use Pooches Park for both daycare as well as overnight boarding. MJ is very responsive to our texts and makes sure to send us plenty of pictures. I'll also add that Gabbie is a somewhat skittish/nervous dog but responds really well to MJ's calm energy.
How often does a dog turn down food?! Well, when I told my boy Winston that we were "going to go to Pooches Park" today, he ran to the door to the garage completely bypassing his breakfast! He is normally very food and treat motivated, but he was so excited to go to Pooches Park he didn't care about his breakfast! (But, of course, being a good dog mom I did sit down and wait for him to eat... he gobbled it down when he realized we weren't going anywhere until he finished.) I normally don't write long reviews, but Pooches Park deserves a "5" and then some. Winston is only 10 months old and who would blame him for racing to get out the door to go there?! Look at the fun he has socializing with other dogs there. I highly recommend Pooches Park for any dog wanting to have fun, and to give their dog mom or dad peace of mind about their care. PS Winston is a rescue dog and when I got him two months ago, he had high anxiety...separation anxiety...and also was afraid of crates. Now it is almost insulting how quickly he leaves me to get in the gate at Pooches Park without even looking back! And, he is starting to use his crate at home of his own free will. Thank you Pooches Park!
Rhysi has been visiting Pooches Park nearly a year! At the time of the meet and greet, her separation anxiety was at her worst. To train her, we had to get her on a strict management and training schedule which meant she couldn't be left alone for longer than she could handle while gradually increasing her alone time. Pooches Park immediately became our go-to. It is equipped with a clean (I was surprised to be unable to spot a single dog poo when I saw it the first time) 2-acre, fully fenced outdoor area. My girl is a hound so she LOVES outdoor, woodsy areas. She was nervous at first but warmed up as we kept visiting. On a nervous day, my partner called in to check on her - we were comforted with kind words as well as pictures of her having a blast that day. Now, she is barely able to contain her excitement in the car when we're a half mile away! Now she can be left at home for over an hour. She would not have been able to improve if not for Pooches Park being there to watch her and let her romp, play, and nap in peace while I am out or just taking a little break. Even now that she is much more stable, it would pain me to stop taking her here. She loves it and even perks up hearing the owner's voice. I jokingly call it "aunties house"! She gets so excited! I've searched far and wide, and I don't think there's any other daycare that could take good enough care of my dog besides Pooches Park. The open space is unparalleled by any other daycare nearby. My only issue is that I wish I could drop her off with short notice! But I understand that would be difficult with the high demand of daycare all the time! Make sure to book holiday stays early as they fill up quickly!
Is this place still in business? I drive or bike past their location several times a week and I have seen no evidence of dog care activity for quite some time now. I left my dog there a couple of times in the past but was not particularly impressed. My credit card was compromised immediately after using it to pay for their services. Which could have been a coincidence, of course. But I don't really believe in coincidences.
My dog, Bella, is a sweet but needy dog. In the past when I left her with other dog sitters, I was told she kept looking for me for hours after I dropped her off. I was surprised when I dropped Bella off at Pooches Park (2nd stay) and she ran into the yard without glancing back. That made me feel happy to see she was excited to stay at Pooches Park. I like that Pooches Park has a large yard that she can play in. I also like that I get picture updates of Bella each day. I would highly recommend Pooches Park to other dog owners.
My husband and I fell in love with Pooches Park on our first visit with our poms Bear and Mellow! We knew it was the place for our fur babies when our oldest Mellow, who doesn’t like walks, LOVED roaming the land on Pooches Park! He was so happy! The owner is so sweet and demonstrates her love for dogs. Pooches Park is our choice for all of our future boarding and daycare needs!
Pooches Park was a pleasant surprise! It was a "country visit" of sorts for our two large dogs that don't get out much. They went from playing in their half acre backyard to running around on an adventure with new friends on 2 acres of land! MJ and Willy did a fantastic job sending updates throughout the day and best of all, our furbabies came home tired and HAPPY! We will definitely book with Pooches Park again!
I love the professional service here, and the easy web portal to check on my dog and pay. Tsunade was at first hesitant to go to her first boarding experience but the owner was amazing with her. My dog is a rescue and has been abused prior but the owner really worked with her. The updates were great sent to your email about your dog. It’s reasonably priced for an amazing park. I drive from DC to where my parents live just to come here :).

I LOVE this company and my dog walker!! I am at work for several hours during the day and it is so convenient to have someone come walk my dog everyday for me when I’m away. Barking trails is extremely professional and the walkers are flexible and friendly. I met my walker ahead of time which I really liked so that I could get to know who would be with my dog on a regular basis. I was skeptical about using a dog walking company at first but I thought that I would try out 'Barking Trails' after checking out their rates. I have to say that I was impressed at the professionalism that I experienced. They came out to meet and introduce the walker. Unfortunatley, we had to change our walker after 4 months because they were going back to college full-time but Barking Trails came out again to make sure the replacement was suitable. I have to say: wow! I did not expect this level of service from a dog walking company. Most of all, my 5 yr old dog is more obedient and seems happier than ever. I would recommend to anyone working a 9-5 line up an appointment with Barking Trails if you want your dog taken care of with a touch of class!

We had problems in the past with other dog sitters. Our black lab is very anxious. He barks and hides when strangers come into the house. Kira and Josh were amazing. They took the time to get to know him and he looked forward to their visits. Most have not been able to do that. We truly appreciated the great care they got while we were away. It allowed us to relax on vacation. We will definitely use them again.
Pet and Home Care did a great job caring for my cat while I had surgery. They came twice/day, provided food and water, cleaned the litter and provided affection. They also provided online pictures and comments to me after each visit which I greatly enjoyed. I intend to use them in the future.
After many months of guiltily asking friends to watch our two rabbits while we’re away, we found Pet & Home Care online. We have been using their service for four months now and I don’t know how we lived without it. They are experienced, dependable, kind, and responsive. We especially love that they share updates explaining how their visit went and including photos our two buns. We will proudly continue to depend on their services for the foreseeable future.
Rylee and Tad provided outstanding, conscientious, and compassionate care for our animals. After each visit, they sent us a detailed notification with photos of all animals. One of our cats has to get insulin shots twice a day; for a year, we did not leave him in someone else's care for even one day. After experiencing Pet and Home Care's competent and caring service, we now feel confident that he is in safe hands if we have to travel.
I have 4 dogs and used to always beanxious about going on vacation and leaving them. I have been using pets and home care for over a year now and am always impressed by their service! They do a great job even with dogs that are elderly, reactive, or harder to deal with. They send pictures and reports about the dogs and follow the care instructions very well. I've had 3 different sitters in the last year and they always do an excellent job!
Was recommended to Pet and Home Care by Laureen’s Pet Sitting when she moved away. We used P&HC for the first time over the new year holidays. Jack and Jean took care of our three dogs, gave twice daily medications to one, and sent pictures with every update. Choosing a place to trust with your dog can be extremely difficult. You usually know if you've made a good choice when you pick your pet up based on their behavior. You know for sure how it went based on how they behave if you try to take them back to that place. From his first daycare evaluation visit, our dog has shown nothing but absolute joy to go to stay with Pet and Home Care! He perks up in the car as soon as he realizes where he is and he runs right through the front door without hesitation and without looking back for me. We recently had our longest time away and he stayed 2 weeks. I was really concerned he'd feel abandoned (he was a rescue pup). I was so pleased when we picked him up and he was his usual happy self, not seeming to have even noticed how much time had passed. These folks are phenomenal and I am so glad we found them.
Pet and Home Care is a wonderful organization. They cared for my diabetic cat when I was travelling and now they take care of my dog when I'm away. Their care is excellent and I never worry when I leave my pets in their care.
From a management standpoint, Tiffany and Kira were easy to work with. They looked at our set up and made a few recommendations to meet our needs. They also adjusted our schedule, which saved us some money. Very pleased with their services and their rates are reasonable. They followed all instructions, left detailed notes and even sent cute pictures of one of our cats. They also contacted us with questions or concerns. Erica was outstanding. She was attentive, kind and affectionate with both of our cats. We highly recommend and would use her services again if she is available in the future. Thank you!
We feel so lucky to have found such a great service to take care of our beloved Goldendoodle, Charlie, as well as our home. Charlie loves everyone at Pet and Home Care who's taken care of her which includes daycare, a variety of grooming services, walks, really anything we've ever needed or wanted for our beloved pup. They are so sweet and caring with Charlie, I sometimes worry Charlie likes her PHC friends more than us! PHC has also provided excellent services to help clean and maintain our home. Our lives can get very busy, but Tiffany and Pet and Home Care have been a trusted and valued support system for us for years and have made all of our lives significantly better because we found them. My wife and I can be very particular and picky, so I can confidently say they are the best and couldn't recommend anyone more highly!!!

Would highly recommend Fetch! for pet care services. My wife and I have been using them exclusively for a couple of years now to care for our two beloved cats whenever we're out of town. Jamie, the owner and Amy, our sitter are very responsive and trustworthy. Amy is always on time and does a great job caring for our cats as well as any household related tasks like mail, bringing in trash or recycling cans, or watering plants. After every visit we get a journal update that details what was done and includes pictures, usually of her playing with our cats, who clearly know her and enjoy her visits. Also the Fetch scheduling tool is very easy to use and their pricing is very reasonable. Definitely gives us peace of mind that our pets are well cared for when we travel!
A few years ago I changed jobs, shifting from a 100% remote position to a 100% in person position. I was so happy when I found Fetch to take care of my pup when I returned to the office. The owner, Jamie, worked to match me with a regular walker from his team, set a schedule that worked for me, and arranged a meet & greet beforehand so acclimate my pup. This was especially important since my dog has some anxiety issues, so meeting before and getting comfortable was critical. It gives me such peace of mind to know my dog is well taken care of when I can't be there during the day to take her on a mid-day walk. And I get notified with a journal entry and photo after each visit. Post-pandemic, I am in the office less, but I still rely on Fetch for the days I do have to go into the office 1-2 days a week. I would truly be at a loss without Fetch, Jamie, and our fantastic walker, Donna! I highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy service for your pet care needs.
Fetch! is so worth it. Excellent service with giving wet food, having playtime, and sending us text and photo updates during each visit. We learned a new word from them: ZOOMIES. Had no idea that the frantic excitement our cat has running around the room was called that. The intro meeting was very informative and also good for our cat to see us all together beforehand. Jamie, Maggie, and the gang are the cat's meow. They're solid, reliable, and ready to save the day in the world of pet pampering.
What a fantastic experience we had with Fetch! We had been using a different service which was fine until this past July when we used them for a short trip we took out of town (three days). They did a horrible job and actually injured one of our cats. Fetch spent a lot of time getting to know us, our cats, and our expectations while we were gone. They matched us with a very experienced dog/cat sitter who came over before we left to also get an idea of our expectations. She was so, so, so very good! She provided us with very regular updates, gave our cats the space that they needed, spent 30 minutes each day with them and while our cats generally do not like strangers, both of them warmed up to her by the end of the trip and let her pet them! Our boy cat who was injured by the previous cat sitter really opened up, and he now not only roams the house again (he would not leave our bedroom prior to Fetch's sitter coming over after the trauma of this summer), but he gained weight while we were gone! Our very senior cats (15 years' old) are again acting like kittens and were very happy with Fetch's service. So we are also very happy. We came home to a clean house and happy cats. I cannot recommend Fetch more highly...an absolute pleasure to work with them. We have found our pet sitter for all future trips. THANK YOU!!! A+++++++!
I was thrilled to have found this service thanks to Jamie and his team's incredible customer service and communication. I really appreciated Jamie calling me and walking me through the process as someone new, and I felt very assured after speaking with him. Lisa was fantastic as a cat sitter, and my cat really immediately took to her. Lisa also did an awesome job informing me of Ray daily, which was a tremendous relief after we had a medical scare only a few weeks prior to us leaving for vacation. I cannot recommend this enough!
This company is amazing. Our sitter did a pre-visit so we could get to know her. She was so personable and really took her time to understand all the little things we do for our animals. While we were gone she visited 2 times a day for 30 minutes. Each visit we got video and pictures. On the very last day we got a "EMAIL" from our cat... it was super funny and sweet. Its these little extras that make the whole experience so amazing. Its also very affordable. Finally we have peace of mind when we leave for trips.
I've used Fetch ever since I moved to the area 6 years ago. Now that I am moving out of the area, I realized how very lucky I was to find this business. When I moved here, Fetch was recommended to me, and I didn't even look at other companies. I've had 3 walkers over the years, and all of them were great and reliable. I love that Jamie (the owner) takes a huge interest in his clients and the welfare of the animals. My dog doesn't deal well with strangers, but he liked Jamie immediately. Any time my walker was sick or away, Jamie took over my dog's walks personally. Everyone at Fetch (Jamie, the walkers, and the scheduling staff) is very responsive and very flexible. This was important to me as my schedule can be crazy. I wish I could take Fetch with me! I've contacted multiple dog-walking businesses in my new area, and only one of them had availability. I didn't realize how lucky and fortunate I was with Fetch; I trust them with my animals and my house. I would recommend Fetch to anyone without reservations, no matter what critter needs care.
Maggie, our Fetch petsitter has been so wonderful to work with. She always takes excellent care of our kitty and sends us lots of pictures (some are of the cat playing or letting us know where the cat was sunning herself, but also photos of her food bowl when we wanted to know how well she was eating and stuff like that). We always miss our kitty when we're away, but we never worry about her health or safety because we know Maggie is taking care of her.
Fetch hires dependable sitters who have a great rapport with my cats. I've trusted them for many years because they always come through for any request. Edited 4/7/24: Both of my cats became terminally ill in 2023. I was hesitant to travel because of their condition, but needed to a few times. Jamie and Lauren both went out of their way to give my cats extra care and attention while I was away.
We have had a wonderful experience with Nick at Who's A Good Boy. We had a very wild (untrained) 2-year old Vizsla, who also developed social anxiety (with people and other dogs) during Covid. After extensive research into training options, we contacted Nick, and we knew immediately during the home visit that he was going to be great. He took our pup for four weeks and returned him a more confident, trained companion. The part we love the most is that Nick listened to our needs, tried different things, and helped us find what worked for us and for our dog. Some things didn't work, and Nick wasn't discouraged by this -- he simply switched tactics and helped us prioritize what was most important so we could focus our energy effectively. He not only trained our pup, but he gave us tips and strategies to ensure that we would continue to be successful long after our engagement with Nick ends. It is obvious to us that Nick cares deeply for the well-being of the pets he trains, and this made us feel good about entrusting him with our canine companion. We would (and have) recommended Who's A Good Boy to anyone who asks.
Nick and Who's A good boy training has been a life changer. We have an 80lbs St. Berdoodle and we were concerned with her size she could really be hard to control. We started with an initial consultation and decided to do the 4 week board and train. Nick's pricing structure, what to expect, and the way he listened to the whole families needs (including our two boys 12 and 10) was amazing. Through out the entire board and train we received regular text updates, pictures, and videos. Once our pup came home Nick was great about teaching us how to continue the training ourselves. We had lots of questions and he was just a text away (sometimes texting back at 9pm for us). We also used Nick for nutrition advice and thoughts on other dogs. Every step of the way he has been there for us and continues to be. Because of the training we received we are able to take our dog for walks almost exclusively off leash, enjoy wineries and breweries because she stays on place and does not need to be babysat, and our pup can come almost anywhere we go. It really has helped us enjoy our happy, healthy girl way more than we ever could without the training. A big thank you to Nick and Who's a Good Boy training. -Craig S.

Nick worked with our family dog as well as my mother-in-law's dog. Not only did he communicate very well with us what we needed to do to be successful with our dog, but you could also tell the dogs were happy to be working with him. They responded very positively to his training methods and I could tell they respected what he was doing. What I like best about Nick's training method is that he has experience from several different trainers across the country and has been able to blend the best aspects of each of them into an awesome, well rounded program. I had given up on training my dog Tucker after going to two other trainers. Nick was able to teach me so many great skills to be able to better communicate with my dog Tucker. I plan to bring my other dog to train with Nick as well! Highly recommend Who's A Good Boy to anyone with a dog!
After doing quite a bit of research on dog trainers, we landed on Who’s a Good Boy, and we couldn't have been happier with the choice! Nick is very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions that I had, before, during and and after the training. I have a 4 year old golden retriever with high energy. Before Who’s a Good Boy she pulled on the leash, jumped on everyone, would not listen to simple commands and would never come when called. Nick helped me learn what my dogs specific needs were and how to best advocate for her. Ever since the training my dog’s behavior has been a dream. When people come over to visit they always say, “wow your dog is so well behaved.” Nick is a lifesaver and I would highly recommend him to anyone with obedience issues!
Nick Seabrook is an outstanding dog trainer! He is very knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. I have had my dog train with him and board there and he loves it and he shows so much improvement whenever he comes back home. He knows exactly how to handle and teach dogs obedience and responds to their needs. My dog loves him and enjoys learning his excellent techniques. He has made it a joy to be around with my dog. My sheepdog is much more manageable and I highly recommend Nick to train everyones dog. The end result was fantastic!!:) I highly recommend him!! I give him 5 stars across the board and if I can give higher I would!!
Nick worked with my puppy for 2 weeks and then came to help train me :) We worked on recall and boundaries. I practiced with Bilbo so that I knew what to do to reinforce the behavior. It's been night and day since Bilbo has come home. Its been great!!!
Our dog Bagel was a mess. A cute mess, but a mess non-the-less. We needed help. Neither my son nor my wife could walk Bagel without a tremendous amount of effort. Enter Nick and Who's a Good Boy dog training. With one loose-lease lesson and a little work on our own our beloved hound can now be comfortably walked by any member of the family. Nick is professional and skilled. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
There are a lot of dog trainers out there. My last dog went through 3 separate trainers trying to deal with his behaviors. The first trainer didn't listen to our needs and enrolled us in a puppy agility class when he couldn't even walk without fighting his leash. The second was 1-on-1 training who was able to get our dog on his best behavior while in training sessions but we couldn't figure out how to bring that obedience home from the training sessions with us and he still couldn't be around other dogs without getting into scuffles about toys or the water bowl at the park. The 3rd was a board-and-train environment where we asked for a primary focus on interacting with other dogs, and they worked with him solo the entire time and just told us "maybe it's best he not interact with other dogs for awhile," completely ignoring what we asked and paid for. Nick is different, and I think it's because he actually listens to his customers, and tailors his training of the dog to the needs of the owner. Where a lot of trainers can train a dog, a good trainer can train a person to understand, work, and learn with their dogs.
Emily and her husband are amazing with animals! I felt comforted every time I left my dog Penny for a stay. I had no worries and I love that Emily keeps us updated with photos throughout the day. Penny busts out of the car with so much energy and joy when she realizes where we are! I would definitely recommend using Home Away From Home Pet Boarding! The people are so nice and amazing, it’s affordable, and they offer overnight stays, as well as doggy day care!
Love Home Away From Home. Emily and Mario (and office staff) are amazing. Millie, my pup gets so excited when Emily comes to greet. She gets soooo much play and exercise in throughout the day and is exhausted and such a happy dog at the end of the day. Definitely the best day care in the area! Hands down! I haven’t had any home services yet, but I trust them to do an amazing job just like they do with doggy daycare and would certainly take advantage of their others services when in need. Millie and I are big fans and will always come back.
Emily was very inviting and comforting from our first meeting with our pup Cyrus. Animals love her. I was very nervous leaving my dog after our initial pet sitter fell through but emily eased all of our fears. She was easy going, honest, polite, and kind. I received a ton of pics throughout the vacation, i saw my baby running around with other dogs, playing ball, and just having a blast. I highly recommend Emily and her husband for any pet boarding needs!
Emily is absolutely fantastic and I trust her completely with my dog Ruby. Every time I go to drop her off Ruby goes running into her house because she's so excited. Emily is the best. I am an extremely nervous dog mama (because I’m obsessed with my dogs... of course) and really struggled to allow anyone to watch them. We’ve used Emily/HAFH twice now and we’re so happy! I swear they probably are so happy they don’t want to come home. Lots of interaction and exercise, and Emily is really easy to communicate with, always sending pictures while we’re away. I would recommend her without hesitation and I’m sure we’ll continue to send our pups her way!
If I could give Emily a 7 star rating I would. She did an excellent job in taking care of our guinea pigs Choco and Maple. Choco is my senior guinea pig and she needed medical attention (antibiotic feeding) while we were away on vacation. She took care if them so well they didn't want to come back. We highly recommend Home Away from Home Pet Boarding.
Emily and Mario were really great in taking care of our puppers Sheldon. They made sure to give him enough exercise and sent me a ton of pictures and was always very responsive.. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others.

Jenny had been great. Barley is reactive to other dogs in a big way. He had become snappy with us and with his four legged brother after having a traumatic hospital visit and surgery. Dr. Learn at Animal Behavior in Richmond recommended Jenny. She came to the house first to evaluate him, and gave us ideas to start training and to keep Tucker safe. We have also done training at her house. Her training concepts are pain free and the major coercion is food based. His reactivity is much more manageable. With her help we see a light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks, Jenny!

We rescued a Mastiff puppy that was 10 months old and had some behavioral issues that we needed addressed. We thought about a training away from home for 3 weeks and then we found Jenny. She came to our rescue and not only helped us learn how to work with our new puppy but helped our puppy learn to trust and thrive. The change is amazing and her skill working with dogs are impressive. She's awesome, we highly recommend her.

I am so thankful we had Seventh Heaven Pet Sitting help us out!! Jenny was absolutely amazing. We have a huge number of pets-4 birds, 4 frogs, 3 lizards, 2 snakes, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and salt water and fresh water aquariums!! It was a lot of work, but Jenny was organized and had daily reports for us to review!! Plus our animals loved her-especially the birds!! I've been an on/off client of Jenny's amid post-pandemic, late 2021. Her dog walking services are great with a scheduling app to help communicate services requested and status updates. A few months ago, when she sent out an email blast saying she was expanding her services into specialized dog training 1-on-1, I was very excited to get on board, and it did not disappoint! She makes the experience very personal, fun, and all-around great person to work with and I learned so much from her and her team. Jenny is amazing. For the past two and a half years, she and her walkers have taken excellent care of my dog (Buffy, golden retriever) in rain or shine, and even when I have an extremely unpredictable schedule and need last minute additions or cancellations. I cannot compliment Seventh Heaven Pet Care enough. The app Jenny used is user friendly and convenient, and her company’s response to COVID was also prompt, thoughtful, and forward thinking. She never once sacrificed safety or care. I’m moving further in towards DC and out of her service area, and she’s set the bar so high for service that I’m finding betting a new walker to be difficult. I highly encourage anyone to use Jenny’s business - she’s top notch
We’ve had Jenny do a midday walk for the past 9 months. She started with us when we first rescued our 8 month old Labrador. She really helped ease my worries about a midday walk and my dog is always excited to see her! The app she has for scheduling and communication is top notch. I like being able to see what he did on the walk, where they walked and now and then a photo!
