I wish there were more than 5 stars we could give for Sonia and Paul! They are everything and more that you would want in a pet and home sitter, lovely people, organized and communicative, animal loving and just al around great and funny. From the moment we connected with them they were a dream to work with and everything went great. When we were away they were wonderful about communicating and sending pictures to make us smile and laugh. They arrived early so that we could spend time and show them the ropes and we instantly felt like we were old friends. I highly recommend them and can't wait to have them come back!
Beetle was a joy to care for! She is a super sweet and calm kitty. Rachael and Brett were easy to work with. They communicated in advance and were super hospitable. The location is great, I loved the coffee shop across the street!
This was such a wonderful housesit! I had such an awesome time with Tabei and very much miss her. She is such a cuddly cat and she was obsessed with the laser! She has the cutest meow and an adorable personality. Kathleen was such a great person and the whole thing went so smoothly. She had a beautiful place and the train to go to so many different places in Vancouver was literally right outside her door. The views were amazing and her place had such a great vibe. I highly recommend this sit. Would love to come back at some point! Thanks again Kathleen!
Looking after this gang for a long weekend was lots of fun! Cookie will bowl you over with her enthusiasm, while Benji & Tilly are more of a gradual shy warming. Michelle’s guide was excellent & thorough, and text communication prompt (especially when I’d accidentally locked myself out from her stacker sliding doors 😬) I took her advice and walked the dogs at separate times which made it easier as Cookie & Benji have their own quirks (& I felt less guilty when visiting the nearby patisserie 🤣) While Benji isn’t a fan of other dogs & requires a little distraction & distance, nothing fazes Tilly. Cookie is a strong dog - esp if you veer off her usual route & she plonks her bottom down😆. But she’s great with the busy walking routes & perfectly behaved in cafes. The sit location is excellent - centrally located with lots of cafes/cinema/shops within walking (or even ferry) distance. It’s great people watching too being on the river walk. Your guest room is very comfortable & own ensuite too. The house is well set up & easy to use. I’m sure these dogs are used to a busy, active family with younger children, but didn’t mind the slower pace of just hanging out & chilling.
It was a pleasure sitting Sky in Alan and Angela’s beautiful old restored home. Sky is a wonderful young dog full of exuberance and is always willing to play. She obeys commands and is easy to control. Highly recommend this sit in the beautiful Marvin hills for this welcoming couple with a great dog. Thanks
Ger and Marie were the nicest people to deal with and Fred the dog was a joy to look after! Their home is lovely and fully stocked with everything a family needs and where they live is beautiful! Bruff is a charming little village and the surrounding countryside is amazing! Perfect for day trips. Ger and Marie were super organised, very welcoming, and excellent at communicating. Fred is a wonderful dog. We have 2 small children (3 and 5) and Fred was the perfect companion for them. He loves walks, playing fetch, and generally being around people. Fred has a wonderfully gentle disposition and is very well behaved and very well trained. I recommend Ger, Marie and Fred in the highest possible terms. We would stay there and look after Fred anytime, and would love to do so again. 10/10 all around.
We absolutely loved house and dog sitting for Bev in Middle Aston. The house was beautiful and the dogs, Jeli and Logan, were so well behaved and a joy to look after. Bev was clear with instructions etc before and during the sit to make sure everything went smoothly. This was our first THS sit and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more!
