We had a lovely time taking care of Archer and Ripley. They are precious, sweet and gentle. Archer loved knowing you were around and often liked to check up on us as we worked from home. And it was a pleasure to walk with him. Ripley is an adorable cat; what can we say; she is full of love. She liked sitting on our lap and sleeping together. We were lucky enough to meet Liam and Marissa before they headed off, and they were so hospitable and great at communicating throughout our time via SMS. And they are really kind people. Their home is in a fantastic location, centrally located! Walkable to many great parks, pubs, restaurants, and many buses and trains to get to! We would love to sit for them again!
We enjoyed our sit so much! John and Dagmar are great hosts who made us feel welcomed from the moment we met them. Murphy is a really sweet pup who loves to play. We loved his high energy and his eagerness to get outside and explore with us. We does great in the car and loves adventures! He’s a tad on the anxious side, but his quirks were easy to handle. John and Dagmar’s home is beautiful, peaceful and had everything we could need. This sit ranks really high on our favorites list and we would be lucky to come back again. Thank you John, Dagmar and Murphy!
Our one week sit in Seattle taking care of Jax was a delightful experience. One of the best! Our host Jason was very friendly and communicative. His lovely home is located in one of Seattle's best neighborhoods. Very comfortable with a jaw dropping view of Puget Sound. And then there's Jax. A bit shy at first but we quickly became good friends and when the time came for us to say good bye we all felt a little sad. What a great dog! Peter and Mary Wiberg November 2023
We really enjoyed our sit at Terry’s place. Thistle and Crumble are beautiful, sweet natured cats who love to cuddle (especially Thistle who came every morning to sit in my lap); she is a sweetheart. They are such easy cats to care for. Whenever I let them out the back we had no trouble getting them back in. Terry and Steve are very friendly, interesting and chilled; we received a lovely welcome from them. Their house is beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. Great king size bed too. Bieldside is a lovely part of Aberdeen and quite close to the centre although to be honest we saw little of it as we went to see castles and National Trust properties every day to explore and walk. There are quite a few not far from Terry’s place (you will need a car though). We got lost at Crathes Castle as we wandered too far into the woods. Forewarned…. So a great time really and we would definitely come back to do some more exploring of beautiful Aberdeenshire. One last thing: Terry has great books!
Lovely experience looking after Frankie and Sapphie at Rachel and Shaun’s place. Frankie and Sapphie had lots of love to give and were great on walks - and absolutely adorable. Rachel and Shaun have a very nice and clean home and made sure we were comfortable for our stay. The neighbours and village were lovely too. Lots of walks and pubs walking distance from the house. We’d very happily return and look after Frankie and Sapphie again.
