Irene was lovely and was lovely to Tarka. They seemed to get along and Tarka was relaxing with her on day 1 - which is an achievement with a shy cat! Irene left the place tidy and washed sheets etc and also kept our tomato plant alive which was very pleasing! She was also quick to reply to messages when we checked in as to how they were getting on. It was our first experience with house sitters and were pleased. Thanks Irene.
I really couldn't recommend Fiona & Daniel highly enough as housesitters. From the time of their initial contact to the end of the sitting their communications were excellent. They sent us updates and photos and videos of our dogs throughout their stay which meant a lot, especially to the kids. Knowing that we had a long journey home from Australia Fiona made us a pasta sauce to have on arrival which was very thoughtful and very much appreciated. They were very diligent in the handover conversation and even went to the trouble of recording some of the trickier instructions for the house. The house was kept impeccably clean and the dogs were very happy and calm which means that they had had lots of loving attention and exercise. This was the first house sitting we had ever booked and Fiona and Daniel exceeded all expectations. I would highly recommend them as house sitters.
