Had a great time sitting for Megan and Sonny. They provided clear instructions on responsibilities and gave quick responses when they were away. Didn't have to do anything with the chickens since I was here for such a short stay. Nico and Mimi were super friendly and cuddly on the couch and in bed. They were very self sufficient in relieving themselves in the backyard. Little Bit was also easy to care for, just needs a little encouragement sometimes. The home was super cozy and in a very nice location.
Beautiful home in a great part of Boston. Nice pubs, restaurants, and downtown area nearby. Phineas and Ziggy were as advertised. We got attached and it was hard to leave them. Nicole was very friendly. She left detailed instructions and communicated regularly and clearly. Staying at this home made me not want to leave the Boston area.
Keela was a great host who made sitting for her dogs so easy! She has a beautiful loft in a quiet part of town that made staying there extremely comfortable. Her dogs, Olive and Pepper, are the sweetest and very low maintenance, even with Olive's extra needs. Keela's easygoing and kind nature, along with her amazing dogs, made this a fantastic sit and I hope to be back sometime!
Congratulations on getting married Ella & Alex ! I had the pleasure of looking after Birdie and Gloria during this time. They have a box of toys to chose from for play time, and like to come and go as they please during the day, and are very affectionate and love to be close when it's bed time. On a very hot day when everyone had their windows and doors open Bridie mistakenly ventured into a neighbours house and got stuck there for a few hours. Ella & Alex supported every move of looking for her when I was feeling worried and Ella's dad who lives close by came straight over to help look for Birdie. Birdie made an appearance when the neighbour was going to bed and found her sleeping under her pillow ! There is a lovely bakery called Jo's a short walk from Ella & Joe's beautiful house and a park on the doorstep. Communication was great throughout and I would happily come back and hang with Birdie & Gloria again any time !
Daga and I were lucky enough to look after Rose and Davidès' home for just under a month. We fell in love with Goldie quite quickly due to her personality and characteristics. She is a wonderful dog that Rose and Davide rescued and she seems to be incredibly grateful for the affection and attention she gets. Every morning she would watch us come down stairs and then roll onto her back in her enclosure to greet us. It was a lovely way to be greeted each morning. Cala Del moral is a very peaceful town just north of Malaga. It has lovely beach front walks and the sunrises/sunsets were always very calming. We found the people to be extremely friendly and accommodating of our poor Spanish. The house was perfect for our requirements. Clean and a nice a space to work from during the day.
