Teresa
Dream sit! We both left wanting to be Teresa when we grow up. She could not have been any more warm, hospitable, and personable — she welcomed us into her beautiful home a couple of days early and showed us numerous nature walks, including a ramble around the Russborough House where she was a fountain of knowledge on native plants and points of interest. It was wonderful to converse and hear her perspective. She even made us a very tasty (traditional Irish) bacon and cabbage dish!

Her furry family is adorable and low-maintenance and all have very distinct personalities. It was a privilege to get to know them. Lady loved to go for a wander and to simply lay at your feet — she was very well behaved and never caused trouble. Freckles would catnap most of the day away but allowed endless pets. Sky was independent and loved to have her own adventures, so her attention was always a treat.

It was lovely starting the day with such an expansive view outside, and we had everything we needed to cook, make coffee, and feel comfortable. The hikes over at Glendalough (about 45min drive) were grand, particularly the Spinc! Various grocery stores within a 10min drive, and the West Wicklow Restaurant was quite nice as well.

It was a really unique and amazing experience that we are grateful for.

We had a great time house/pet sitting Reggie. Reggie's a really sweet dog and he was really easy to look after. The house is absolutely beautiful, with a lovely cozy living room. We would highly recommend this house sit. Thank you Martin for being a great host!

Sharon and I really enjoyed our short New Years Eve stay with Ellie and Spot, they are fantastic dogs, really well behaved and good natured. From the house, you are straight onto the Sandstone Ridge that runs the length of Cheshire, plenty of walking opportunities, we took the dogs for their first walk of 2018, they were so good. Debbie's home is quite idyllic, loads of character as you would expect from a 400 year old house, whilst having the usual mod cons. We are quite local so we were very confident this would be a great, first, assignment but it would certainly be worth house sitters far and wide paying Ellie and Spot a visit.

Emma
Sebastian, Shiela and Lilian are so chill and lover dogs! They are instantly keen to meet a fellow dog lover! They are very social and they absolutely love all interactions. They welcome the opportunity to go out for a walk. They can go off leash if you go to the areas that Emma recommends. There is a bicycle available to go to the nearby 7/11 etc. Ordering Grab delivery is also easy peasy. Emma's house is comfortable, but note, she does not have a microwave, if that is something you desire. Emma is very kind, and responds immediately to your messages. I highly recommend this house sit!

We had a stellar time caring for Zealand in the gorgeous Seward Park neighborhood of South Seattle, in a beautiful craftsman home. Both of our adult daughters joined us for a five-day stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. Laura and Josh welcomed us to use the comfortable and plentiful kitchen for cooking, and we soaked off some of our overeating in the hot tub, enjoying the almost freezing temperature and full moon. The centerpiece of the trip, of course, was Zealand! He is a easy-going, friendly lab who made every walk a pleasure. I even encouraged him to run with me on the way to his favorite spot: a swim beach at the nearby Lake Washington. Early morning trips to the lake were especially magical: deep fog one day, bright sun the next. Mister Z played well with other dogs off-leash, was focused on his swimming and log-chewing, and communicated well when he was ready for the leashed walk back home.
Josh and Laura are well organized, and prepared everything that we needed for the stay. Really an all-around spectacular trip! We would be happy to spend more time with Zealand in the future.

Maureen
This sit was awesome! Maureen's listing is as accurate as her listing: Mookie is really low maintenance, and he's super chill and sweet! We had such a great time at this sit. Maureen's place is super spacious (with a backyard!) and clean and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. I have also since fallen in love with the L train just a few min from the apartment, which gets you to Manhattan in 20 minutes! Such a nice stay and Maureen is really hospitable. We would return anytime out schedule allows and highly recommend this sit. Thanks so much again for the wonderful stay.
