Sitting for Bere and Josiah was an absolute dream! I feel incredibly privileged to have been able to sit for them and care for their beautiful pups Sienna and Hazel. Both pups have such lovely characters, and even though Hazel took some time to open up she is such a sweetie that loves affection. Sienna is hilarious to watch at the beach and has a very playful personality which is great to be around. Not to mention the location and villa itself is very impressive. Honestly a dream house sit. Would sit for them again in a heartbeat!
I could not have asked for a better first experience at this sit. Selena and Joel are truly some of the nicest people I have ever met and completely welcomed me into their home. Selena and Joel went out of their way to make me feel comfortable by cooking me dinner, and going for a walk with Simba together. Their chow chow Simba is the cutest pup ever and I miss him already. It was an absolute pleasure sitting for them and I would very highly recommend them to anyone. 😊
We really enjoyed house-sitting for Rodell and it didn't take long for the dogs to get used to us. Daisy, Theo, and Buddy settled into us being there very quickly. Billy was so cute and took a couple of days, but once he did was sitting with me most of the time. The house was great, easy to manage with the chickens, and was in a great location.
Would definitely recommend! Kiki was incredible for making this a great house sitting experience, there was fresh clean towels/sheets and food left for me when I arrived. The dogs were super sweet and it was a joy to care for them. Overall the dogs are well behaved and the house had all the amenities.
We had a very enjoyable nine days staying at Tom and Tamsin's lovely, well-located maisonette in Kingston. Communication was excellent and efficient and we were supplied with all the information that we could possibly need. Lyra was a delight to look after, eating well, was friendly and let herself in and out via the cat-flap. The accommodation is super comfortable and very well located a stone's throw from the magnificent Richmond Park. A highly recommended sit!
The instant I arrived I felt a whoosh of relaxation (not that I have an uptight life), but I was surrounded by an amazing landscape of well-chosen bushes, trees, plants, flowers and a lovely interior decor focused on comfort and practicality. My bed was Amazingly comfortable, and I slept so well with Heimo by my bedside. He is by far the sweetest dog I have sat for. I fell in love with him and would have taken him home (except that is frowned upon). The poultry duties were easy and everyone complied except there were only two egg deliveries. The pool was my domain (despite the temperature) and I enjoyed sitting there looking at the banana trees (yes, in VA) and Bruce's plantings. As a gardener myself, I was appreciative of his planning and work. A big perk was the nearby lake (five min) where there are trails and a peaceful view. I really don't want to overrate this sit (I have had over 30), but this place crept into my soul. Tranquil beauty of nature. Thank you, Tamara and Bruce, for entrusting me with your home and with Heimo. My only regret was that it wasn't long enough.
