We found Kate and Daniel a lovely, friendly couple, who we’re inspirational. Not only do they adopt rescued animals. They also have 4 beautiful children to care for. Their home is beauty, comfortable and well organised. It is excellently located for walking the dogs away from main roads and within walking distance of grocery shopping. We enjoyed walking Welly, Rufus, Winnie and Noushka. They all are friendly and obedient. In fact, whenever we were walking the dogs in Woking Park, they attracted locals for us to meet and talk to. Their 3 cats, Welly, Buca and Charlie were a bit shy at first, but loved cuddies when they got to know us. We had a fair bit of rain during our stay which prevented us from walking the dogs in the nearby woods, other than that, we had a wonderful sit and looking forward to sitting for them again in April.
Loved sitting for Sailor and Finny. Home is in a great location and Sean and Allison were excellent hosts.
We thoroughly enjoyed our sit at Jane and Colin's beautiful home and garden. Bonnie the dog was absolutely gorgeous, well disciplined and a real pleasure to take out. The cats, Maisie and Polly were snuggly and adorable and so easy to look after. The house was extremely comfortable with all mod cons and beautifully decorated. Jane and Colin were perfect hosts. I would thoroughly recommend this sit in it's beautiful location beside the sea and countryside Thank you both again for this wonderful opportunity!
A wonderful sit. Danny took a couple of days to warm to me & from that time on, he was on the lap every evening. Loved a brush and play. My thanks to you, Charmaine, and Phillipa for allowing me to care for your lovely new home and Danny. Communication was easy and relaxed. Great spot & easy navigate around. Had a wonderful time with the beautiful Flynn - a most delightful pooch. Anne was kind enough to take me for a quick drive around the area, and we had time to take Flynn to his favourite walking spot. Very comfy bed and lovely quiet area. Thanks, Anne, for such a great sit - my fitness level has gone up a few notches!
Pomo was a delight to care for while Ananda and Johannes were away. He loves to talk, sit in the sun, eat, sleep, talk some more and watch the birds and insects in the garden. His favourite place to sit is on anybody's lap in the sun lounge or watching TV on a lap in the lounge room. Mind though, he is not a fan of cricket, much to Greg's dismay. Pomo liked to curl up underneath the blankets on the bed and hide and after he felt comfortable with us, would sneak into our bed during the night and curl up with us. Ananda and Johannes are generous, kind and so hospitable. They met us at the train station, took us to the local markets and treated us to a delicious meal at a nearby restaurant. We spent many hours enjoying their conversation in their stunning home which was equipped with every comfort we could possibly imagine. The village of Mistelbrunn is serene and peaceful with spectacular views. We are grateful to Ananda, Johannes and Pomo for the opportunity to spend time with them.
