We had the most amazing time with Gaby & Uriel!!! They are such sweet dogs. We were happy to take them on walks around the neighborhood. There is a great dog park very close to the apartment that Uriel loves! Gaby is a sweet older lady and Uriel has much more energy, so they are a fun combination! Joe and Sal are incredible. They provide such a helpful guide to make caring for their sweet pups very clear. Joe and Sal are so much fun to be around. They were very flexible with our arrival and departure - letting us stay an extra night on both ends of the trip. Porto is a wonderful city! Joe and Sal's place is in a nice neighborhood with tons of bakeries. It does not feel touristy at all. Yet it is close to a lot of the more touristic sights - maybe 20 minutes walking or a quick metro ride away!
It was a real pleasure to housesit for Silke and Stefan! They made us feel welcome right from the beginning and provided great support during our whole stay. Luna, their dog, was just fun to spend time with. Once she gets to know you, she will not leave your side. She loves to go for walks, play games and enjoys cuddles. Nala, the cat, likes to keep more for herself, but is also very friendly and easy to look after. Their house is just wonderful and we enjoyed the easy access to the great activities Rome has to offer. Overall, we were really happy with the housesit and definitely recommend sitting for Silke and Stefan!
We had an amazing time sitting for Poppy! She is such a gentle love-bug. She is a beautiful dog and her personality is affectionate, people-loving, easygoing, with the perfect dose of playful. She loves her walks but is also just as happy to join you on the couch for some chill time. She watches for bunnies while you watch tv. We really fell in love with her. She’s a sitters dream. Shannon was great to sit for and very responsive. The sit instructions were clear and the space is extremely comfortable and welcoming. The home is beautifully appointed and perfectly designed with a guest sitter in mind. We really loved the home, the proximity to downtown Westborough, and the neighborhood- but most of all we loved Poppy. We absolutely recommend this sit and we would welcome a chance to return at anytime.
