Hugo is awesome! He’s great fun and loves to go out and explore. We had the opportunity to take him on some amazing hikes, swims and had the best time together! Hugo is smart, energetic and playful. He’s very strong and capable of doing long hikes. He loves swimming more than anything in the world, after food of course 😁 Hugo is friendly with other dogs and people, and knows some really fun tricks like fist bump! But he is also a great companion and is happy to nap while chilling at home and doing work. Stephanie, Darrell and their family were so welcoming. Their home is beautiful and very comfortable, located in a quiet and green area of Vancouver. It is super easy to go out for a nice walk or swim nearby (so many trails, rivers, Lynn Valley and Deep Cove) — which Hugo loved too! And it was easy to get into city for food and fun — especially because they were so kind to let us borrow their car. So much appreciated!! We would highly recommend this housesit and miss Hugo already. Thanks again for trusting us with your boy ❤️
We had a wonderful time watching over Finn! Karla was kind enough to get to know our family and provided great suggestions in where to go around town. The neighborhood was fine enough in the immediate area, but some nearby areas were best to steer clear of. Finn was a blast and easy to care for. Beware of the speed mountains! Overall, we felt very welcomed and found this to be a great first experience with the platform
Harvey was a very sweet dog and I had a very nice time with him as a company. Catherine and John were very attentive, caring people and they made sure that I was comfortable during the stay so I had no worries staying after the family left. They promptly responded to my questions even when they were away. The house was near the town but safe and quiet. Walk in the woods nearby was very nice, too, and it kept me active!
Such a wonderful sit looking after three lovely dogs in a beautiful and idyllic rural village. With local milk available from the farm, a well stocked village shop and a neighbouring pub...all just a short distance from the beautiful town of Shaftesbury.... we could he asked for little more. The area is rich with interesting walkways and the dogs made eager and willing companions. We would love to return again.
Frankie is such a sweet dog 🐶 Mild mannered and very calm, by far one of the most relaxed dogs I’ve cared for on this site. Nicky is a wonderful/informative host, and I felt confident I had everything I needed for this 3 week sit (including excellent food recs, always helpful 😋). Neighborhood wise, the home is in a very central and peaceful location (whether you’re a veteran or a first timer in Mexico City). It goes without saying when there’s so much natural light and a hammock in the living room, it’s going to be a good time. In addition, there’s an excellent balcony/office area for us remote workers, and Nicky graciously offered use of her headphones, second screen, etc. I especially loved that this neighborhood was a 10 minute Uber ride/25 minute walk to soooo many things one must see in Mexico City! I loved the accessibility, the safety, the convenience of restaurants/pharmacies down the block, and even an oxygen bar if you need a little help adjusting to the altitude! If Mexico City, a very sweet dog, and an overall great experience is on your list, 14/10 recommend 💙
Daniel was a delight to deal with from start to finish. The information provided on pet care, apartment and local environment was perfect. He was contactable at all times. The apartment is wonderfully comfortable and clean. It is very close to the Metro, shops, bars, restaurants. Ayo is the cutest, friendliest kitten and was a dream to look after. I couldn't have asked for more and would sit Ayo again at the first opportunity.

The staff is so friendly. I can tell the staff enjoys working there which in turn transfers to how well they take care of my pup. They are wonderful and my dog, Lilly, loves going to daycare. She is excited when I drop her off and tired when I pick her up (which is a good thing). They are diligent in ensuring the safety of the pups by enforcing the appropriate handler to dog ratio and ensuring vaccines are up to date. I highly recommend The Dog Eaze Inn for daycare. 10 Stars!
I cannot recommend Dog Eaze Inn highly enough! From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease knowing my little dog was in such caring and professional hands. The staff is incredibly welcoming and genuinely loves animals, which shows in every interaction. The facility is spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with dogs' comfort and safety in mind. My pup especially enjoyed the supervised playtime with other dogs—it's clear that the team takes great care in matching pets with compatible playmates. What stood out the most was the personalized attention my dog received. The staff made sure to follow his feeding schedule and provided plenty of cuddles and TLC, which is so important for a smaller, more sensitive pup like mine. I also loved the updates I received while my dog was there. The photos and notes about his activities put my mind at ease and reassured me that he was having the best time. My dog is reactive and shy, but let me tell you... this place did a wonderful job working with my dog, Flaco, and getting him to not only open up but socialize with more than one person. They always take great care of him, and they were even able to give him a bath! Which is unheard of for my dog. I'd never thought it would be possible for him to even make friends, but I am grateful I found Dog Eaze Inn to not only treat my dog with love and care but to also have him open up. Thank you!!!!
Lola always loves staying at the Dog Eaze Inn. They always fuss all over her and make her feel loved & special! We love them! This last time her tail was wagging so hard when she saw where we were arriving to when we dropped her off! She couldn’t wait to see all her friends there (and meet lots of new ones!!!). When we picked her up, while she was happy to see us, she definitely was sad to go! Thanks, as always, to the staff there for taking such good care of our girl!
Nikko looked happy when we picked him up after 3 days and 3 nights. He seemed to have had a pleasant stay. The staff are very nice and caring.
My two dogs boarded with them for 8 days. Even though they shared a run, the bill was just shy of $1000. They offered outdoor playtime with other dogs and several grooming services, but my boys just got the basic bath and towel dry. It was pricey, but I knew my dogs were well taken care of.
I would personally stay there...lol...think I'd fit in a crate? I found everything very clean and different packages for boarding to meet your needs. We went with the middle one and when we picked our girl up, she was clean and happy. The Staff is totally awesome and even washed the containers we sent with Tootsie's food. I totally give them 5 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 and we will be back...Thank You! Tootsie is with our new rescue we adopted, so you'll get to meet her too!
The Dog Eaze does fantastic with handling reactive dogs. My dog does not play well with other dogs but every time I've boarded him here he was kept in his own private area to play and room to sleep. They make pick up and drop off safe for him by requesting visitors do not bring their dog into the office while other dogs are in there. He has also had many appointments for grooming and they have always been so quick and caring and I personally think the prices for this service for a Large Standard Poodle are very reasonable. We are moving away soon and I will miss having Dog Eaze just down the road. Thank you for all the love and care you have given to my dog throughout the years. I am so thankful for all of the employees who played, bathed, gave tuck ins, fed, and cuddled him while I was away.
Brought my 8 month old pup for bath. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. I was very comfortable leaving pup for the first time!! Can’t wait to check out the daycare options!!
I boarded my black Labrador at the Dog Eaze Inn for three nights. He was very calm when I picked him up. He ate his dry food and chewable Cosequin pill every night. I highly recommend The Dog Eaze Inn.
I will start off by saying I like(d?) Dogtopia. Unfortunately (or fortunately), Dogtopia is franchised or owned by a large company. This location is owned by the large company. Because of this, their "ways to save money" are insanely rigid. My issue is not with the staff-- they are kind and knowledgable. My issue is with the company. Normally, a day of daycare with them is $45ish. But with a "1 day a week" plan, the plan I had, it brings it down to $40. The issue with this is the inflexibility. There was one week where their power went out after a storm. I didn't want my dogs to sit in a crate all day (and pay for it) until the power came on, so they provided me with a voucher. This voucher had to be used within 30 days, and it wasn't in place of the $40 I already spent, so I had to change my schedule around to bring them an additional day during the week. Okay... I'll take it. I cannot bring my dogs this week, so I'm out $40. There is no ability to roll over this day to another week. I cannot get a voucher. Fine, then, I'll cancel it. Not so fast-- it takes 2 weeks to "process." Which is strange, because it took them 5 minutes to put my card into the system to start charging every Monday. So, I get to continue bringing my dogs for two weeks while they "process" my cancellation, I'm out $40, and my dogs still smell like pee when I pick them up. As I said before, my issue is not with the staff, it's with the company, although, I do wish my dogs were not returned to me smelling like pee. After the mandatory two weeks, we will not be coming back.
The people at Dogtopia Woodbridge are kind, compassionate, and wonderful, and they love our pups as much as we do! They always hold fun events that pet parents enjoy, and it seems like they have fun doing them! We're so lucky to be a part of the Dogtopia family!
While my dogs love their day of play, I have recently noticed that the facility, especially the lobby smells of urine. I’ve also witnessed both of my pups smelling of urine after picking them up from a day of play. Not sure if they are using a new/different solution to clean/sanitize.
We've used this location a few times. The checkout baths have been okay but not great. We still do them because of allergies. Our dog came home ill once but has been back twice without issue. So we've always tried to roll with things and be generous and understanding. Today, my spouse missed out on a final meal with visiting family (we're military and see family once or twice a year) to go get our dog. He confirmed details with the team this morning but after arriving and waiting for our dog, the team let him know he wasn't ready and he'd need to leave and come back later...as in during the time when we're supposed to take family to the airport. We only have one car and have to move the car seat out to transport our dog so it's extra time wasted when we show up and are sent home. We basically have now lost most of the time together with family that we could have had today. And now our dog will have to wait post-bath because we can't have family miss flights. So why the review? Tried calling and couldn't get a hold of anyone. Left a voicemail but their system automatically cuts you off and hangs up on you. Really disappointed in today's experience and the grace bucket is overdrawn. We pay a premium price for boarding and in 20 years of dog ownership have never had this many issues this consistently. Again, up till now we've tried to roll with it but it's getting frustrating at this point. I hope they can do better and also fix the phone system so it doesn't hang up on vms.
Yea! Our beagle passed the meet and greet and can now go to doggie daycare. She also got washed and smells so much better. The people I encountered were so very nice and informative. When we left in the afternoon, she did not make a peep all the way home.
DOG BITE IN THEIR CARE - A MUST READ I have used this location since March 2017. My dog is 12 years old. This last visit, my dog was boarded for five days. I picked him up today and paid for the boarding. When I got him in the car I noticed that his head had lacerations. I immediately went back in and was informed that he had been hurt trying to get out of the crate - marks on his snout. Only after I then questioned the lacerations on his head that they informed me that another dog had nipped my dog. They told me the other dog was excited and that my dog did nothing wrong. They had cleaned the wounds and put Neosporin on them. Dogtopia made no attempt to notify me of the incident when it happened nor did they at the time of pick up. My little guy had two lacerations on his head and three on his nose. I am so disappointed!! They should have told me instead of letting me discover the injuries on my own. To make things worse, they refused to provide me the owner or dog information. They refused to send the shot record of the dog to the veterinarian, because it violated their privacy policy. I inquired why the owner would not consent and was told they would not ask the owner if it was alright to provide the shot record. Unbelievable!! It is not how you behave when things go well, but how well you carry yourself when they go badly.
Staff is wonderful, camera helps my anxiety, responsive, my Toby loves bubble time, and always take advance of spa service. It’s an awesome dealing to know my baby boy is safe when I’m away. Thank you Dogtopia of Woodbridge!
I am beyond disheartened by this location. I’ve been to several Dogtopia’s across the South as I have traveled a lot since getting my beloved Zuko. I understand dogs play rough and things may happen from time to time. However, if a dog is injured that should be the first thing that is said to the owner at pickup! The fact I had to go out to my car and was about to leave when I noticed a patch of fur missing from Zukos Face is absolutely unacceptable. This should not of been first noticed by me when staff are supposed to check our babies before they are brought out to us. Then when I go in to ask what happened I am basically told they have no idea and that’s he was playing pretty hard. Yes, I understand he was playing hard. I do not care about that I care that his face got hurt. I care that it was not the first thing told to me. On top of that this was my first time at this location and they didn’t even write a report card for Zuko or give me the packet to explain behaviors I may see after bringing him home. Truly I am astonished at this location. I wanted to bring Zuko here on the days where I have to go into the Office but after this. I’m not so sure. It’s not even like the mark was hard to see. It was on his dang face.
Our first play date.. the staff was wonderful and instilled confidence that Teddy was in safe hands. This was our first visit and they remembered that I had called the day before and the entire staff was very caring and kept track of all of the kids during their play date. It was a good opportunity to start socializing Teddy in a controlled environment. We will be going back. Thank you !!play date... the picture below is Teddy just after a playdate..
I know I look here for reviews of companies and services. So paying it back with Dogtopia. Discovered the company in a Google search when we first arrived in Virginia last summer and needed short notice boarding for our dog and once we had a home, some kind of weekly socialization time. Once he was screened (they ensure all dogs have their vaccinations and are vet certified healthy), he spent a month with Dogtopia Woodbridge. Since then we take him twice a week for a full day of play - he's knackered at the end of the day. The staff is always pleasant and truly love "their" dogs and we can tell he enjoys himself as well. It does cost a bit more than perhaps a home business, but my wife and I feel we are getting our money's worth with the care and attention he gets during his stay. We've boarded him since the big stay and he comes home healthy - no colds or ailments, which we've experienced before. Definitely recommend!
Amy & Jesus are an amazing team!! I had an emergency and I need it for someone to care for my dog Lucy. I need it doggy daycare while she recovered from surgery. They send me a report cards, plenty of pictures. They were not afraid to ask me questions prior and during the stay. They were comfortable to give her medication and clean her incision also need it to do warm compresses. Best Care! Great team! 2000% recommended.
Amy and Jesus took care of my 2 dogs for the past 2 years prior to moving. They communciated with me effecftively for scheduling and were amazing with my dogs. My dogs were always so exicted when they arrived at the house! They are a great choice for dog care needs!

Jesus and Amy were an excellent and trustworthy resource when we needed help taking care of our pooch. They came out to the house to meet and our dog Murphy and go over any of his specific needs. As dog owners themselves, they were knowledgeable of and very accommodating to Murphy food sensitivities. They provided a text update and pictures from each visit. Eric and Owen have been giving my boys mid-day breaks for a few months. I always get reports about how the visits go and what they did with the boys. Really can’t say enough about All Breeds. I was having such a difficult time finding a dog walker in our budget and one who was also flexible. My husband and I both work in customer service and our schedules tend to be all over the place. All Breeds allowed us the flexibility to switch days when needed, even if it was a last minute change, and have always done their best to come at the time we requested. Our dog has had three different walkers and each of them have been so amazing with our girl and you can tell they care very much about the pets!
We have been using All Breeds as both a dog walking service and a pet sitter for the past 2 years. I cannot say enough good things about this service. When we started with them we were just coming out of a bad experience with a different pet sitter and really needed to find another reliable company very quickly. All Breeds did not disappoint. They showed up to meet our little zoo, consisting of three cats and two dogs, the day after we called and started almost immediately. The dogs loved going on walks with Barbara and Maria. And when we traveled and used All Breeds to pet sit our cats, we always knew they were in good hands. The cats were happy, plants were watered, and the mail was brought in. Barbara and Maria always provided photos after each service which was a really nice personal touch. We are moving out of town and I sure hope we can find a company as good as All Breeds at our new location.
High recommendation! We enjoyed having Barbara take care of our 2 large dogs while we were away. Barbara made multiple visits ahead of the service dates in order to get acquainted and make sure both would be comfortable. We especially appreciate her knowledge of dog behavior, professionalism, friendly style and willingness to take on a challenge. Great service and excellent experience! Update: Natasha turned this around and she has been amazing! Thank you for taking care of Scooter! It gave me so much peace of mind seeing your updates and pics of him. Appreciate it so so much. And going the extra mile with some home needs that came up while I was out of town 🤩 At the moment giving 3 stars. In the past year or so they had been great. Good communication and took pictures of my dog while I was traveling for work. But this go around with my dog being older I have been trying to be proactive about his elderly needs and hadn’t heard back. I understand being busy as at my work we have been incredibly busy. I am hoping this works out and will update my review after vacation at the end of August.
Kate’s Pet Care is a model of professionalism and customer-service (for both animals and people). I know my pets are in great hands when we need overnight services, a feeding visit, or a walk. Kate’s always goes out of its way to accommodate our schedule and needs. Another bonus? I love supporting a woman-owned small business. Highly recommend.
Kate has watched our bunny for us a few times now. She is knowledgeable about buns and is able to cut his nails and give us tips regarding his care (as we are only second time bunny owners). She came to the house to meet Carrott prior to watching him, talk about the care we wanted, and introduce herself. She sent me updates while we were on vacation, including photos. He was happy and healthy when we returned. I would definitely recommend Kate's K9, including for bunny-sitting needs.
I'm admittedly really surprised given the good reviews for Kate's K9 Pet Care, but they were pretty unprofessional with me. After I replied to their initial email with a meet and greet date from the options they offered, I never heard back from them. This was despite a follow-up email and a phone call. Given that lack of responsiveness, I wouldn't trust placing my dogs in their "care". In addition, in their Pet Sitting contract, they state that if the sitter needs to cancel later than 24 hours prior to the owner's departure, the sitter can find a substitute for themselves without the owner's approval (and it doesn't stipulate anything about who that substitute can be). I was hoping to address this with them during the meet and greet, but given that it never happened, I thought I should make other prospective customers aware of that clause.

Tracey, our regular sitter, does an excellent job taking care of the cat, and I always know she is well taken care of. I get updates and pictures every day. We've had three walkers through the years with Fetch and they have all been excellent. We have trusted these people with the daily aspects of looking after our dog when we are at work or on travel, but the additional source of care and affection in his life these people have provided is unmatched by any other service. Service is really good from pet handlers. My pet handlers have each told me they are not paid well and for the money I and others pay to use this service, more money should go to the hands of the workers instead of upper management who are not involved in the ground and don’t even live in the state. Have pulled out of services and will recommend others who use this service to do the same.
Fetch! has always been a fantastic pet walking service for our high-energy pup! Tucker loves all of the walkers who come to hang out with him. We've used Fetch! for years for mid-day walks while we're at the office. Scheduling is easy and everyone is so helpful.
The coordinator never sent out my care request. Now I am scrambling to try to find other options during this holiday rush. Even after being matched with a sitter, the services provided were basic and pales in comparison to other sitters in the area.
New ownership has made all the difference in the world! Communication has been excellent, Fetch was able to ensure that all of the days of service I needed were covered, and our pet sitter, Emile, is fantastic. I had an amazing experience with Fetch! They took amazing care of my cat Tucker. I was gone for about two and a half weeks, and came home to a very happy and calm cat, a clean litter box, and a clean apartment. The sitters were responsive, punctual, and kept up with the routine I laid out for them. They also wrote detailed visit descriptions and took lots of photos that really eased my mind, as I could tell that Tucker was being taken care of properly. Also, when I ran out of litter while I was gone, a sitter was able to pick some up for me, which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend this pet sitting service, and especially Abby and Theresa, who were the two sitters looking after Tucker!

Alex is the best doggie trainer and he treats my dog like family. I wanted to get her trained up as a puppy and he learned her mannerisms to understand her trouble areas. He offers group walk training in local neighborhoods or more crowded areas to help dogs get accustomed to noises people and other dogs. Alex is fantastic with dogs. I have a German Shepard and Collie mix. My German Shepard had a bad habit of jumping on people and Alex was able to stop that behavior. He was very good in handling both my dogs. My Shepard has been with Alex since he was a pup and he’s very good with people and when he goes on his walks with other dogs. This is the long overdue review for Alex. I have been struggling with the reactivity of my three pomeranians for a long time. I had tried group classes, private lessons, and online resources, but I didn't see any significant changes. When I contacted Alex, he invited me to join the group walk where my girls could get exposure to other dogs and strangers. The group walk provides a controlled environment where they can learn appropriate behaviors and build their confidence. Alex is there to correct the inappropriate behaviors of dogs and educate us on how we can improve things. His method works, and I am already seeing improvements. The girls are not perfect yet, but they are on the right track. P.S. Not only Alex, but also the group is wonderful. They are very kind and understanding. I can’t recommend Commonwealth Pet Care enough! I’ve worked with Alex over the past several months training my puppy, Willow. He is patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable. He provides immediate feedback and demonstrates what to do to properly train a dog. He also provides written instructions to reference when I’m training her. Willow has made immense progress on her areas of concern and has mastered basic commands. We have attended group walk and train sessions as well which are wonderful for socializing her as well. We've been working with Alex for going on 2 years this fall. He is a wonderful trainer and really works with you to help focus on areas of concern. We started when our dog was a puppy and she naturallt has a very nervous temperament and Alex has really helped us get her socialized well so that she is great around other people and she's getting ok around other dogs. We'll keep up the training with him until her confidence with other dogs is really built up. You can tell he really cares about the dogs he works with. We have also used him for boarding and had a good experience. Definitely highly recommend!!
Alex has been great with both of our dogs! He both trains and boards our dogs. He has been fantastic with our 1-year-old rambunctious big puppy in getting behavioral skills and basic training, as well as our anxious and high-need 14-year-old small dog. He is patient, communicative, and easy to work with. We are grateful we have found him!
Alex helped us with our fearful foster pup Josie in the Fall of 2022. He gave us practical and useful documentation so that we could gain the skills to help Josie succeed. We met with Alex at least once a week for several months for hands-on training, which helped Josie become more accepting of new surroundings and people. With Alex’s assistance Josie’s fears decreased and she was able to be adopted by a wonderful and patient family that vowed to continue her training. Josie is thriving today thanks to Alex’s training.

Alex is INCREDIBLE! He’s been working with us and our puppy Roxy for a few months and we can see a drastic improvement in our rambunctious dogs behavior. One thing I really appreciate about Alex is that you can tell he genuinely really loves and cares for each of the dogs he trains. He’s extremely personable and we like his method of training (positive reinforcement). His dog Apache has also been such a positive influence for Roxy and has helped her learn how to play appropriately and control her puppy biting. He’s also helped us connect with other new dog owners in the area to coordinate walks and puppy play dates (which has been difficult due to COVID). He’ll reach out to my husband and I during the week to check on Roxy’s progress and is easy to reach if we have questions. Alex is amazing and you’re doing yourself and your dog a disservice if you don’t use him to train you dog!

It is very reassuring for me to have someone to look after our space while we are away and, even more importantly, it is so much easier on our cats to be able to stay in their regular surroundings. Sierra Stroll has been a God-send in the lives of our pets. Not only do they care deeply about your pet, they take into consideration their personalities, their food needs, and in general they just love them. We recently lost our beloved, Diesel, and before I could put up a post on FB the Sierra Team beat me to it, with a tribute that was heart-stopping. Separate from love and care, they respect my home and make sure they follow whatever instructions I've left for our pets. I've been using Sierra for more than 7 years and can't say enough just how wonderful they are. My daughter also gets their help with her crazy Jack Russell, Ace. We've been very happy with Sierra Stroll for our dog-walking. Randi has been incredibly flexible with us; I've been out of town for graduate school and my husband's recently had an unpredictable work schedule, and Randi has always been able to meet our needs for daily dog-walking at the last minute. When we had those crazy derecho storms over the summer, my husband and I were out of town and we extremely concerned that we may have lost power and we considered returning early from our beach trip. Randi called us (despite many cellular services being down) and let us know that our power was on and that our dog was doing well, thankfully saving our trip.

Jennifer has been taking care of our pets for several years - we absolutely love her!!! Initially she came in daily to check on our cat when we were out of town, we boarded our dog. Our dog is now a senior and doesn't do well outside the home. Jennifer stays overnite in our home when we're away. Our babies love her. She takes care of their every need, she also brings in our mail. The house is immaculate when we get back. Most importantly she truly loves and plays with the pets.

Whenever we would boarding our dogs at a kennel, they would come home incredibly anxious and sometimes ill. The boarding situation was panic-inducing for all of us. We decided to try Paw Keepers even though we were nervous that our two Aussies can be a bit hesitant around new people. No need to worry! Jennifer is so skilled and I think our dogs could sense that. They loved her immediately! I honestly have never seen them warm up to anyone so quickly! ( My cats loves her too!) Every time we use Paw Keepers we come home to happy and calm pets. It’s also great knowing someone is checking on the house while we are away. Jennifer will rotate lights on in the house, bring in the mail, and take up trash/garbage cans. She sends great updates of what the pets are up to and leaves a visit summary sheet with notes about the visits. And she gave my blind dog her eye drops without worry or additional fee like some kennels. I am so glad we decided to try Paw Keepers and will never go back to a kennel. It's never easy to go out of town and having to leave our fur babies. But Jennifer was wonderful. She spent great quality time with our kitties, put extra bird seed in our feeder out front, wiped down high touch surface areas, and sent a detailed daily update. Communication was fantastic. Even one of our kitt7es that is very shy around strangers allowed Jennifer to pet him. She is so good with our cats. We will definitely use Paw Keepers again and we highly recommend her services.
Our family has had a wonderful relationship with Jennifer owner of Paw Keepers that spans 15 years! She has taken care of my dogs with love and care while staying in our home.
